probably the most famous political family in america. and that's one of the reasons he went to boston. and there you can see him -- that's in mclean, virginia, back in the day his mother ethel and his father bobby kennedy jr. he grew up as a kennedy. as it turns out, if he is going to run for president, he has some problems inside his own family. because his campaign has actually appalled members of the kennedy family. his sister, carrie kennedy put out a statement and said i love my brother bobby but i do not share or endorse his opinions on many issues, including the covid pandemic, vaccinations and the role of social media platforms in policing false information. but, when you look at, you know, you look at that statistic we put up a little while ago, the poll of people who are going to vote democrat, of the announced people, keep in mind, joe biden has not announced yet, r.f.k. jr. is actually now the number

on the show curb your enthusiasm. she was his tv wife. and he said we would have a really funny first lady if i won. he said i told my wife the other day i said i have got so many skeletons in my closet that if they, meaning the skeletons, could vote i could be king of the world. he does have quite an interesting past. but it was kind of refreshing to hear some of the words he said. he said during this campaign and during my administration, my objective will be to makes a many americans as possible forget they are republicans and democrats and remember that they are americans. basically what joe biden said about unifying everyone. he said we have a polarization in this country today that is so toxic and so dangerous at any time since the civil war and part of the principle mission of my campaign and my presidency is going to be to end that division. >> brian: remember, if you watch president biden just stumble his way through ireland, unable to -- and choosing not to make a speech at the end. the first time in almost anyone's memory not to give any joint press conferences.

poll a couple weeks ago after donald trump was indicted on 34 felonies. and it showed that donald trump had jumped to a gigantic lead of 57 to 31 over ron desantis. now here we are two weeks later, same poll same advantage over ron desantis is down 10 points in two weeks. mr. trump now has 52%, and mr. desantis has 36. trump went down 5, desantis went up as he starts barn storming talking about general things on if he were running for president, although he is not yet, what he would do. >> brian: he talked about gender identity, sexual orientation and what is going on in obviously public schools and taking on disney. here is governor ron desantis in south carolina. >> we're not going to use your tax dollars to teach kids to hated our country or to hate

each other. we just believe that parents should be able to send their kid to school. have them watch cartoons, just be kids without having some agenda shoved down their throats all the time. and if disney objects to that, so be it. we are going to do what's right. somewhere along the line it became normal that a university is used to impose an ideological agenda, to foment political activism, and to be agents for quote, unquote, social justice. we will be signing legislation within the next six weeks eliminating so-called dei programs from all public universities. days ago to the heritage foundation and at the end, he gave a hint of what's coming because he said he was discussing plans for the state budget in florida and he said, quote: once we are done with that things are going to get interesting. and the audience started to laugh because they know that that's when he starts to run for president. >> ainsley: he was hitting several spots in south carolina yesterday. spartanburg upstate near clemens charleston war a lot of people love him in south carolina. >> brian: governor haley and senator scott and right now trump is number one in the most of the polls, in every state poll that i have seen. and governor desantis getting pushed by his donors jump in. it could happen as soon as next week. >> ainsley: when does the session end? >> brian: they said may. there might be pressure on him to jump in next week. he had a meeting with donors the other day getting a little bit nervous. trump is doing so well. i think donald trump has the best team, not to put down 2016

republican party. >> steve: let's move from florida to the central plain states and a fox weather alert. an estimated 15 tornadoes have ripped through oklahoma touching down at some points overnight. at least two part-time have been killed. and there is a trail of destruction. they are just getting a look at as the sun comes up. >> brian: officials issued warnings for multiple counties as 70 mile-per-hour winds tore off rooftops and downed power lines. >> ainsley: victor park from the fox affiliate in oklahoma city joins us live from kohl oklahoma with the very latest. hey, victor. >> hey, good morning to you, guys. yeah, we have been watching just a lot of the destruction in a part of this oklahoma. it is a rural area named coal and just cole. take a look at this home right here you could see it is a two story home and most of it has

see the tree limbs i'm picking up. this is just the scene for miles and miles. we do have video to show you though that you will see some of those funnel clouds and more destruction. about 40 miles north of us is a city called shawnee. they were hit pretty hard you can see some of that destruction there, too. i mean, this -- there were at least nine tornadoes, confirmed tornadoes that have hit the area just causing so much destruction. we spoke to someone who hid in a pizza shop. take a listen. >> a lot of commotion. people were starting to get a little frantic and i was like, it's okay. calm down. there's 3 feet of concrete. we are good. this is the safest place to be on the block. and then it got, like he said, really loud and really crazy. >> yeah. meanwhile, they have also been hit by a lot of hail and more bad weather is expected to come

people have diverse smattering of candidates on that stage and creating a competitive primary which i think is important for the party. i think, you know, i got a chance to see the former president speak. got a chance to he soot former vice president speak. governor sununu and others. we have incredibly talented beach. significantly more talented than the democrats. and in joe biden's america, when you contrast to francis suarez's miami, it couldn't be any more different. rampant inflation. you see rising interest rates. fentanyl crisis. homelessness. >> brian: right. >> crime. >> brian: that's the theme in nashville. i get it. but, for you to run, there has got to be a lane. how are you different than ron desantis who i understand you haven't really spoke to since january. you guys don't have a good relationship. right? he seems to struggle with relationships generally. i mean, i look people in the eye when i shake their hands. had you mentioned earlier in the program he doesn't get along with the governor. he has had a real struggle with the florida congressional delegation. most of which are supporting the

former president. there was an article last night that talked about the fact that he wasn't even calling people personally that his fundraiser was the one or his, i think pollster was the one that was calling congressional leaders for support. i'm comfortable being a retail politician. and comfortable talking to people. i came back from new hampshire. before that i was in south carolina and iowa and nevada. these are states that are approximately the size of miami-dade county. you have to be comfortable. >> brian: you don't think one-on-one politician. if you feel as though you are a better politician than the governor. how are you better than the former president? >> well, i think you have to be able to connect with people. i think in terms of the former president, i really believe in generational leadership. and i don't mean that as a buzz word. i think a lot of candidates are throwing that around as a buzz word. you get a 30 to 40 year improvement in a public official i saw in miami.

it's a stick smaller than my pinky. danging hailing shattering windshields creating a mess on the roads. janice dean is tracking that system. she is here with our fox weather forecast. what do you have for us? >> janice: it's devastating. the sun coming up in and around the eeoc cthe oklahoma city are. see complete devastation in a lot of these areas. i'm fearful. we need your prayers in and around the oklahoma city area. take a look at it. there is the torpedo reports the last 24 hours, over a dozen. the worst damage we think in and around the oklahoma city area as that incredible storm moved through and we saw the rotation on doppler radar. it came in around 10:00 p.m., 11:00 p.m. last night. i'm fearful that people weren't aware of how powerful the storm was. but, look at the hail reports. you have seen the pictures, right? mason oklahoma at least golf

ball size hail. that's how we measure the hail that comes in from the national weather service some of these locations that got the terrible storms. not only that, we will see the risk for hail, damaging winds and tornadoes today. we have severe thunderstorm watch in effect for parts of the kansas city area and then that severe risk extends from the gulf coast all the way up towards the great lakes today over the mississippi and ohio river valley with an enhanced risk for tornadoes. but, again, we're getting those reports now of the tornado damage, at least ef-3 we think and so the winds are going to be in excess of 130 miles per hour. the national weather service is going to go out there. and, of course, we have got reporters there on the scene, steve, so another day of just devastating loss and we will continue to follow it throughout the morning. >> steve: indeed. another day to keep an eye on the sky. thanks j.d. >> janice: you got it. >> steve: switching gears. our next guest is a real life goodwill hunting. ♪

u.s. intel and how a 21-year-old air national guardsman was able to access all of these documents. >> steve: yeah, it's a head-scamper. head-scratcher. demanding access to all the information related to the leaker. >> brian: all right. g.o.p. congressman mike turner chairs the house intel committee. congressman, we have so many questions. i could not believe the frustration on both sides of the aisle after they were briefed yesterday. how do you expect to breakthrough today? >> well, what's really important is for us to get to the facts about this. it's very clear that the department of defense was not doing what it was supposed to do. even in monitoring access to classified documents. the criminal complaint itself indicates that they knew or they could track where this individual was going. and even so, that they failed to follow up on it. and the other aspect that we learned yesterday, which there is bipartisan outrage for, is really the extent of which clear and clearance investigations are not conducted that would

discover the type of life pattern that this individual had and affect their clearance. >> steve: i know you are going to have a retreat with a bunch of people from the intel community starting tomorrow and get a bunch of answers. breaking story today we wanted to pick your brain on. apparently there is an irs agent, a special agent, a criminal supervisory special agent. he is asking for whistleblower protections because he has got information, according to his lawyer, he has got information that would contradict sworn testimony to congress by a senior political appointee about hunter biden. and his taxes. and it sounds like. remember like in october it sounded like the fbi was going to indict him and went nowhere. this guy knows everything with you he needs you guys to protect him. >> right, steve. this is very troubling. comes on the follow-onto the biden campaign having used former members of the community.

♪ >> ainsley: when times get tough, family will always be there for you. that is the message in a new children's book called "that's what family's for." the importance of relying on loved ones. joining us now fox news medical contributor dr. nicole saphier and son hudson. good morning to both of you. >> good morning. >> hudson, you wrote a book. you are so young and you wrote this book. you are published. tell me why you wrote this book "that's what summer is for." last summer i got told bad news. writing about my family helped me feel better. i wrote this book to help others feel better. >> ainsley: what happened last summer. >> last summer hudson had a little mass removed from his back it turned out to be a rare but benign tumor that rocked our world. it sent us into a bit of an emotional tail spin. got some not so great news from the doctors and so, you know, we

tried to what can we turn this tough situation into maybe a better situation? hudson started writing a lot. started channeling his emotions so therefore, i'm like why don't we try to write a book? and he did. because he wants to help other people feel better. >> ainsley: hudson, every time i'm with your mom she talks about you all the time. she loves you and your brother so much. i know that family really helped you get through that tough time. were there some special things y'all did. >> um-huh. >> ainsley: what did you do. >> we went to disney world. we went to many concerts and et cetera. >> ainsley: and then wrote together. you and your mom wrote this book. what was that experience like? >> it was fun. it was exciting. >> ainsley: yeah. helped with your emotions. >> um-huh. >> ainsley: help other children when they get bad news how to deal with it. >> um-huh. >> ainsley: tell me about the main character what's his name. >> his name is jeff. is he a little monkey who gets told bad news at the start of the book. and his family takes him on imaginary adventures.

and yeah, he just has a fun time. >> ainsley: and he has conversations with his doctors. >> yeah. >> ainsley: and conversations with his family? >> um-huh. >> ainsley: that's great. how did you come up with this idea, dr. saphier. >> i would love to take credit for that but it was his idea. hudson and brave books did an amazing job. my name is on it. what's interesting, ainsley, right now everywhere we look it feels like society is trying to separate parents from their children. and the message we really wanted to do in this book was how the importance of the family unit and how that family unit should be cherished and not separated. the message is families come together during hard times. it is the family that we should rely on and not the external world because really family is the most important thing. >> ainsley: i know in your profession as a physician, you have to give families bad news. and, when you are in the middle of it, when it's happening to your family, did it change your perspective on how you look at your patients now? >> it's interesting. they say doctors make the worst patients and they certainly do.
