graphic images of my daughter that i hadn't shared with anyone. it wasn't just to show him, but to make him realize we are feeling this. i should not have had to bury my little girl and seen her covered in blood. i should not have had to hold her cold little body. he has enough politicians around him everyday. i went in as a parent and mom and pled with him to please hear us out and that when he goes to advise president biden instead of having the congressmen and women thoughts in the back of his mind to have our faces in the back of his mind, that is who he needs to protects, us. >> ashley: mayorkas said republicans were politicizing tragedy.

stating the hunter biden laptop story was disinformation. we learned from morrell was antony blinken played a key role in that letter. jim jordan and mike turner sent a letter to blinken thursday letting him know that their panels are looking into this. part of the letter saying, "the biden campaign played an active role in the origins of the public statement, which had the effect of helping to suppress the hunter biden story and preventing american citizens from making a fully informed decision during the 2020 presidential election." >> this has been political from the get-go, back to the morrell situation when the story came out in 2020 about the biden business operation and was vice

president joe biden involved. there was concern he was. that letter became basis for keeping this information from the american people. >> an irs whistleblower claiming that attorney general merrick garland is the senior political appointee at the center of the claim the biden administration is interfering with the hunter biden criminal probe. >> my client is career law enforcement officer who is respected within the irs and teaches other agents how to properly do investigations. he knows when to spot when investigative steps aren't condition in the traditional way to get at the truth. he spotted and observed things that are done differently in this particular matter and believe they were influenced by politics. >> the white house didn't have much to say when asked about the whistleblower seeking protections. >> the president respects the rule of law and the independence

of the department of justice and believes that is what they should be and this administration should be independent so i will not go beyond that. department of justice will deal with this issue. >> for his part, merrick garland repeatedly claimed under oath there would be not political interference in the hunter biden probe. through his attorney, the whistleblower says he has information to contradict garland's statements and it can be proven garland was not telling the truth and he could face jail time. >> todd: it is a big deal. bring in fox news contributor joe concha. we've been covering the hunter biden saga for years now. of all developments doesn't this feel like this will blow the lid off joe hunter, blinken and the like? >> joe: within the government, he doesn't have a stake in one

side or the other. when a republican makes a claim about hunter biden, the main-stream media ignores it. here this cannot be ignored, except it is being ignored. no talk of this whatso ever, cbs covered it on evening news, but outside fox, not many are talking about this now. they cannot avoid it, it could lead to indictments of hunter biden and as anita just talked about, obviously merrick garland could be culpable, as well. this is a big deal talking about the hunter biden story about joe biden more than hunter biden and is sitting president compromised by the likes of china, russia,

we have a whole bunch of storm reports sinceed with from texas to the great lakes. a lot of hail damage, golf-ball sized hail and a dozen reports of tornados. this line of storms weakening. we could see stronger storms, hail, isolated thunderstorms, severe thunderstorm warning south of the houston area, watch for that. there is likelihood of some severe storms including south texas up to mississippi and in toward interior northeast. we'll watch that line of thunderstorms along the gulf coast. they could get frisky getting into friday and saturday. watch for that. know what to do. storms are weakening. we could see potential of flash flooding as the front moves through. snow for parts of the upper

because it was a bad bill to begin with. it's absolute lunacy to think we are going to put that burden on taxpayers and fix the environment. as a matter of fact, we have done all kinds ever studies to show it doesn't improve the environment at all. it puts all of the eggs in the china basket as they produce almost all of the energy sources and summits chinese companies instead of american companies. and it was a bad policy to begin with. >> todd: in a sense i would argue she is right in the sense that she is winning. if you look at how our country has been transformed, specifically when it comes to fossil fuels they are destroying our country and economy. how do republicans fight back to make sure she starts seeing some losses? >> the biggest part is just to educate the public. there is a reason we took back 8 the house. understood this is. the green new deal extremely quickly saw huge tax increases they think they can tax and spend they're way out of this

made in china. they make 90% of a lot of our drugs that we require right now. we put a lot of emphasis to expose that china is cheating on the world trade organization which they belong to for about 20 years. they have had around 26 lawsuits brought against them by the united states alone on how they cheat. they summit their companies with government money to throw the market off. they use slave labor west portion of china to produce these things in incredibly cheap price. it's not fair competition. it basically shuts down our ability to compete with them and anybody else in the world very dangerous to the world economy. >> todd: what makes it even more dangerous is we are talking about our military budget. really should be focused on combating china readiness in case we do go in a war in taiwan. what doing with the budget? giving it to china for solar panel and asking in the process.
