intelligence officials to agree the hunter biden's laptop was filled with russian disinformation and nothing for joe biden to worry about. that's what we're learning from mike morrell's testimony to congress. you know the current secretary of state antony blinken used to work for the biden campaign. morel under oath say it blinken played a role in the inception of that intel memo weeks before the presidential election. house judiciary chairman jim jordan. >> it was a total political operation. it wasn't russian disinformation. the laptop story looks to be true. the way the then vice president biden did it was made it seem like it was organic. it was choreographed. it was their names and title. it was accurate when it wasn't. that's the scariest thing of

all. that letter became the basis for keeping this information from the american people. >> harris: let me show you an example of what chairman jordan is talking about there and how the current president fits in. we'll flashback to then candidate joe biden using that very letter with those 51 intel officials as proof his son had done nothing wrong. it was in the final 2020 presidential debate. let's watch and remember. >> president biden: there are 50 former national intelligence folks is what he is accusing me of is a russian plan and five former heads of the c.i.a., both parties say what he is saying is a bunch of garbage. nobody believes it except his and his good friend rudy giuliani. >> harris: that was it. that very letter that now we know his now secretary of state

paying taxes on all this money that he was receiving from our adversaries. i will go a step further. after spending over two weeks in treasury tab net looking at these bank violations and say it isn't just about the president's son. this is the entire biden family. the number of llc, the number of bank violations, the great lengths to which this family has gone to disguise the source of these excessive, questionable wires they are getting from countries around the world that end up in their personal bank accounts is alarming. and this is something that i think the i.r.s. whistleblower knows about. this is something that everyone in the federal government knows has been going on. they are very frustrated that nothing has happened. i think you will see more whistleblowers come forward and expose the truth on exactly what this family is doing with respect to influence peddling. >> harris: there has been to be
8:08 am
irony pointed out. this was a president who took a whole pot of cash of our tax money to hire 87,000 extra i.r.s. agents to go after americans. he said it would be the richest among us. we know it is everybody who can't afford to have a tax attorney. and you look at that and now the whistleblower potentially more of them is coming directly from the i.r.s. >> yeah, exactly. every time joe biden says we will go after tax cheats i just gasp because i've been looking into this for several months now and there is no bigger tax cheat than the biden family. and let me reiterate this. it is the biden family, not just hunter biden. it is not just hunter and jim biden. it is multiple members of this family that have been receiving questionable sums of money for reasons that we haven't yet determined. but i can tell you, it is all pointing back to joe biden. as i said on sean hannity's show the other day the walls are closing in on the biden family.
8:09 am
it is not just the president's son. it is the entire family including the president of the united states. there is no rhyme or reason for a, how much money they've gotten from these foreign countries and b, the way they've tried to hide not just from the american people but from the i.r.s. the money that they have oaf been receiving. >> harris: just remind everybody the number we look at in terms of biden family numbers has burst up to nine. it is hard to get nine people to agree on anything unless you are paying them. the suspicious activity reports also we're learning more about that journey, too. all of this as the president has decided he will announce. can he get out in front of this? >> no. there is no explaining this. the mainstream media didn't cover the first drop that we disclosed to the american people about the million dollar wire from the chinese communist party to 3 or 4 biden family members. they didn't cover when i said we
8:10 am
have now discovered nine biden family members getting money. the whistleblower they have to start covering this. this will lead to more whistleblowers coming forward. there is no explanation with the money for joe biden. >> harris: a lot of discussion about the debt ceiling plan right now. house speaker is saying all along really want to negotiate with the president on this. there are some things we can do as a nation to cut so on and so forth. congress can get that done. now president biden again is refusing to talk to speaker mccarthy. it's causing anxiety within both political parties. democrats are pushing for negotiations telling axios the two should always talk. democratic senator joe manchin really laid into the president with this. it has been more than 78 days since president biden last met with speaker mccarthy. this signals a deficiency of

leadership. if democrats are stressed out the white house is getting testy. >> during the debt ceiling fight then and due in part to the gridlock over that issue, is the president risking the same and congress by driving out -- >> the president isn't risking this. it is congress that is risking this. these political stunts that you are seeing from speaker mccarthy and the maga wing. i already answered the question many, many times. >> harris: she went on to say, that press secretary, maga house republicans are holding the american economy hostage. biden called the gop proposal whacko notions. look, let's get real about the fact that there is a republican plan. let's get real about the fact that for right now mccarthy is not on the president's schedule and you can't go forth if those

two men don't talk. >> that's exactly right. what a disgrace coming from the white house. if they refuse to not only negotiate with the majority party in the house of representatives but try to spread disinformation. they are trying to attack us for having the audacity to tighten the belt of the federal government. we cannot continue to spend trillions more than we take in every year. if the economy as strong as joe biden claims it is, now is the time to try to balance the budget or take steps to balance the budget. i think more democrats are going to come forward. the democrats are starting to realize that they have a wounded president of the united states. he has been an embarrassment on the world stage. his policies aren't working. he doesn't look good on tv. he is frail, not being honest with the american people about the scandals in his family and they expect him to lead at some point with respect to these budget negotiations. i think you'll see democrats in congress, like joe manchin,

start to stand up to joe biden and say do your job and negotiate with a majority party of the house of representatives. >> harris: it will take more than joe manchin. he folded on the inflation reduction act. let's get that real, too. >> that's a disappointment. >> harris: always great to have you in "focus", thank you. >> thank you. >> harris: democrat versus democrat on green energy. joe manchin's name again going after the energy secretary because he didn't get what he was told he would get out of the inflation reduction act deal. he says the president's electric vehicle push is playing right into the hands of china and female athletes feeling abandoned by democrats. not a single one of them voted for the house bill banning biological males from competing against real women in sports. >> felt like betrayal and belittlement and felt like we had been reduced as female agent lets to something to just affirm

forward and saying where is our compassion for these trans athletes. where is the compassion for an athlete by myself. the loft was once a party that embraced women and fought for women's rice and now the narrative is totally flipped. the war on women is underway and the democrats will pay for this in 2024. >> harris: it puts it at 37,000 feet and takes it out of the hands of web -- ari fleischer is here. you look at it from the perspective of the side that used to support women. title ix. it has generated someplace else now apparently. >> i just think the democrats make a bad mistake here because they view this as identity politics. their appeal is to the gay community. that's how they are built these days. democrat party looks at is it affecting the minorities and
8:22 am
women, is it affecting children? how do we appeal on block ignoring principle? that's a mistake. the losers and victims here are a generation of women who get up early, work hard, try to play a sport and get bounced and bumped for a guy who takes their place or fills their slot. doesn't matter if you win or lose. the point is you got knocked out of a place where you could have competed because a biological male is competing in your place. it is just wrong. >> harris: when you talk to those in the lgbt community, some are friends. i ask how do you solve this? i consistently hear there has to be equity across the board so transgender women, men, they can't feel comfortable in the locker room settings, either, i would imagine. the way riley gaines described having to get undressed next to a man whose genitalia was
8:23 am
obviously hanging out as she put it. none of that is comfortable for anybody, i would imagine. so there has to be some way of a separate but equal. they can work on it. caitlyn jenner said they can work on it. it is not a closed door but it does mean that women are women and women are not men. and we'll see how that plays out with democrats. >> there is experience dealing with this. the united states, many professional womens sports. if a person who was a biological man considers himself as a woman if their hormonal levels are at sufficient levels they're eligible to compete. the notion that anybody that considers them to be a female should get to compete is what's totally wrong. this is where you get a physical disadvantage. men have the advantage and that's what's unfair to women. this is exact will i why we have separate sports for men and
8:24 am
women across every sport whether track and field, gymnastic, golf, volleyball, you name it. we separate men from women for good cause. they can't compete equally. don't start letting biological men compete in women's sports unless they are so far along the line and so far testosterone level that they are the equivalent of women. >> harris: one of the things caitlyn jenner told us, you have to really start that process very young. now you see on the left talking about minor children being able to do this even without their parents' consent. they want to own this issue. it will be, like i said, very interesting to see how much of this issue they get to own just politically. all right. it's dem versus dem over electric vehicles. senator joe manchin tearing into energy secretary jennifer granholm at a hearing yesterday.
8:25 am
it was over the president's approach to e.v.s. he says the administration is grossly mishandling tax credits and proposed rules will bust the budget and benefit our enemy, china. look at this. >> changing into a transportation mode going to electric when we had very, very dependable on foreign supply chain on mostly china. that doesn't make any sense. >> you are totally right. we want all of it manufactured in america or as much of it as possible. >> if they don't have to come they will take it somewhere else where it's cheaper and easier to get. china coming through the back door. >> i don't think that is going to happen. >> harris: did she not see the spy balloon? ari. >> joe biden strikes me as a man who realizes he married the biden administration and they keep cheating on him and he is realizing and they will cheat on him more.
8:26 am
he thought he wrote a law that mandated how electric vehicle production is supposed to take place but the regulatory powers of the biden administration have totally changed what joe biden thought. everybody knew it was coming because what is more important to the democrat party is the green party, not joe manchin. the manchin wing inside the democrat party is dead. manchin is getting cheated on. the green party is the future. >> harris: the origins of something you are saying. senator joe manchin in "focus" last summer defended being what was the deciding vote that passed the inflation reduction act which we all know was a green dream for biden. just before that dream got pushed through, i pointed out to manchin that he would not get what they were promising him on energy. he got a little testy. let's watch. >> harris: so you will open pipelines? >> absolutely. we'll build pipelines.
8:27 am
>> harris: how are you going to sell that to the president of the united states who on day one? >> that has already been sold and bought. it has already been. it is part of the deal. it is part of the bill. all you have to do is read the bill, harris and you will see. you are not going to be able to do any more off shore wind or on shore solar and wind unless we are absolutely doing more production with drilling and extraction. this is not a green deal. it is a red, white and blue deal. >> harris: so sad. you no he who else could see what was plain and obvious for everybody else? forbes. a few months after that conversation it was already happening to joe manchin. the quote forbes, rather than driving such a hard bargain, though, manchin chose instead to settle for what has turned out to have been a fruitless promise from senator schumer and then speaker of the house nancy pelosi to simply hold a vote on a separate bill dealing with permitting matters. that never happened.
