weekend with the ones you love and we will see you then. welcome to this special edition of hannity. liberal lawlessness. tonight for the hour we will show you what happens when democrats rule over cities and states for decades and the damage they are doing in dc that is being felt by every single american and they are literally taking a wrecking ball to the entire economy. china is on the march. president joe biden is building sand castles and sitting on a beach in delaware. first the reason that americans
6:01 pm
are fleeing new york, new jersey, california, illinois. these liberal states. there is a reason to million americans left america's big cities just in the last two years. high income taxes, high property taxes, punitive regulations and for what? the roads are covered with potholes. the streets are littered with tons of trash. the homeless crisis is worse than ever. the public school systems are in disaster. by the way, for example, look at baltimore. 23 baltimore city schools, zero students. not one is proficient in math. 23 schools. not the single student. that is what $1.6 billion or 20 grand per student or the taxpayers of baltimore. forget about public safety. here is what public safety looks like in chicago. mob beatings in broad daylight. last weekend hordes of teens taking over the streets, smashing cars, assaulting pedestrians and breaking

windows. in a statement chicago's radical incoming mayor responded, quote, it is not constructive to demonize youth who have otherwise been starved of opportunities in their own communities. what? okay, the murder crisis in chicago is even worse. cnn would have you believe that guns magically walk down the street and act on their own and commit these acts of violence all by themselves. they almost never attach a human bin to the violent criminals or actually committing the crimes. that is because the violent offenders are walking the streets thanks to democratic policies and democratic da's where killers get a free pass. in fact, the majority of murders in chicago do not result in charges. meanwhile here's what is happening in california. the golden state is now being wrecked by looters. take a look there. that's a local gas station in compton, california. the problem is statewide and nationwide and in many blue
6:03 pm
areas. for example, the whole foods store in san francisco are closing down. why? because of the horrible conditions in the city and of course new york city is also suffering from a crime wave. robbie, grand larceny is way up. acting manhattan da alvin bragg vowed not to prosecute the to establish, quote, raysal equity. if you are a criminal you can steal whatever you want. don't go to jail and meanwhile felony assault is up 15%. there is a police officer getting attacked in broad daylight on monday for no reason at all whatsoever. look at this new video also from new york where a driver is plowing through an outdoor dining space striking police officers during a pursuit. naturally aoc had to weigh in. she is very angry. what is she angry at? the police. take a look. >> you are talking about funding violence prevention outside of the police. and yet erica adams has just
6:04 pm
increased police wages by 28%. is that misplaced? >> i think so. we are defunding safety, defunding our public schools, defunding our public pools, defunding our parks, defunding our libraries and we are taking all of those resources and demanding that every single department except the militarized one be cut to. we are sending a message about who and what we care about. >> one new york city attack victim who lost an eye because a be random beating at the hands of a maniac on a subway platform just responded to aoc. here is what she had to say. take a look at this. >> i believe safety comes with police officers. once there is police officers, people feel safer to go more places. they wouldn't be scared to go to school or a public pool. they wouldn't be scared just going to work on the train station. there is a time and place for
6:05 pm
everything. once you put safety first, everything else will go right after it. i cannot call a teacher if i need help if a man is running me down. i cannot call a teacher. i have to call the police. i will be praying for police, not a teacher. >> there is no doubt police lay a critical role in public safety. democrats don't care. to them, political messaging virtue signaling is way more important. now the left defund, dismantle and no bail laws are destroying major cities and not protecting the innocent. it is impacting the entire country. it is not a mystery why americans are now fleeing blue state's and blue cities. it law-abiding hard-working taxpayers getting fleeced by democrats spending their hard-earned tax dollars on far left pet projects. government handouts, billions and billions of dollars on new green deal initiatives. and of course massive payouts to public-sector unions who collude
6:06 pm
with democrats to steal money from american workers. who can look at new york city second avenue subway, for example. you have three stations in just over a mile of new track that cost taxpayers a whopping $4.5 billion and took 45 years to complete. if it wasn't so pathetic, it is laughable. it is now filled with human waste and a lot of homeless people. this is not a good life for workers and their families. now they are voting with their feet. who can blame them? here is reaction. arkansas senator tom cotton said people are moving to your state for these very reasons. we see it all over the country and nobody seems to want to do anything about it. why? these democrats have the ideology that says every criminal is also a victim. a victim of the racial criminal justice system or a rotten country that has been a source of discrimination and oppression from the beginning.
6:07 pm
you heard it best with the mayor elect from chicago. you had teenagers rampaging in the street looting and beating people. he said we shouldn't criticize the youth lost opportunity. sean, these are not second graders. these are 16 and 17-year-old adolescence. if 16 and 17 -year-olds commit violent crimes, then we should lock up those punk kids. >> the answer from the left is to take away people's gun rights, go after the second amendment. when are they going to realize that we need police to do their job of keeping people safe? that is not that complicated to me. >> no, it is not complicated at all. and, the victims of these crimes often times in poor and minority neighborhoods are the ones who are most supportive of having a stronger police presence. the simple fact is if you have more police on the beach, you have less crime. democrats have been trying to defund the police for years. even when they have police
6:08 pm
presence they will often not charge these criminals. alvin bragg as the u.s. attorney and district of columbia won't. because they are worried that the racial disparities and the condition of these crimes and charges of them. even if they get charged and convicted the criminals often know they're not going to go to jail and do heart time. >> do you think the migration out of blue cities and state's will continue? i don't see any end to it. >> i certainly know a lot of people who have left a blue state's and cities often times moving to the sunbelt where there is more economic opportunity and more public safety, lower taxes and a more business friendly environment. i do worry that it makes those areas even more blue and it leads to the election of even more radical ideologues. look at what has happened in chicago. if you thought lori lightfoot the current mayor of chicago is bad, wait until you see her replacement, the guy who is defending teenagers rampaging the streets and luding it as
6:09 pm
underprivileged youth. >> let me ask you about liberal lawlessness, if you will. we know that tony blinken was actively involved in getting 51 intel agents to say that the hunter biden laptop was probably not real and a russian disinformation campaign. that was completely untrue. tony blinken lead that lying effort. we know the laptop is very real. should there be consequences for tony blinken? >> yeah, i mean it's just another example of how joe biden, tony blinken and all the democrats in washington are willing to take whatever steps necessary to hold on to power. tony blinken should answer for this and answer in front of congress. i am pleased we have jim jordan in charge of the house judiciary committee who will get to the bottom of these matters. the american people deserve to hear the answers they didn't get from the last campaign before the next campaign. >> what about the irs
6:10 pm
whistleblower who wants protection, that is claiming that in fact hunter biden is getting special treatment. and in fact the ag lied under oath when asked about this. how serious is that to you? >> it is very troubling allegations, sean, not just what hunter biden has done but the political higher-ups in the department of treasury and department of justice may be trying to suppress the information and prevent charges from being brought to hunter biden. the democrats always praise whistleblowers in the trump era especially during the first impeachment of president from. i am share the democrats that include joe biden will defend this whistleblower who is saying that he is not allowed to do his job and that prosecutors and department of justice are sitting on information that would lead to criminal charges against hunter biden. >> that sounds like liberal lawlessness to me. senator cotton, thank you. more on that later in the program.
6:11 pm
the founder of the guardian angels, curtis is but us. also fox news political analyst is but us and chicago alderman raymond lopez is but us. you have become a dear friend of mine out of tragedy. the tragedy is that your younger brother was murdered in the streets of chicago. he did nothing wrong. he was not involved in anything and they wiped out this young man's potential. you have to live with that and your family has to live with that for the rest of your life. >> that's right. last year i spent a great deal of my time and energy ensuring that mayor lori lightfoot was defeated. and to now be with brandon johnson, mayor elect, who seemingly is going in the belly of the violent crime beast offering milk and cookies and the welcome mat to commit more crime. this is an absolute disgrace. he is showing he is not up for the job. whether it be in chicago, new
6:12 pm
york, los angeles, san francisco, these progressive mayors and district attorneys are systematically endangering the lives of all of their citizens, but especially those minorities that democrats claim they care so much about. they say they want to protect those folks. they are not protecting those folks and they are endangering their lives because they cannot afford to move to a better neighborhood. they cannot afford to move to florida or any other places where there are safe havens. this has to come to an end. it will take citizens across all the jurisdictions to make their voices heard. we had an election were brandon johnson won. we need to start telling those people who are committing crimes in those areas and i know they may feel their safety is being endangered. however, just like the civil rights movement where people's lives are in danger and why they spoke up, we need to do that now. we cannot depend on the government with these progressives running these locations across the country. >> brandon lopez, let's stay in chicago and talk about this. on this very program since 2009
6:13 pm
i said names of people in your city shot and killed, names people never hear of and never will hear from or hear about because the government cannot politicize it. we only hear about the cases that can be used for political reasons. i will be honest. you know, there is something really wrong with that. i thought every life is supposed to matter? >> every life should matter to anyone who is elected in office regardless if they are democrat or republican. i said on your show specifically public safety should not be a partisan issue. we have seen many in my party try to continue this performative politics of making it about something that it's not, refusing to hold criminals accountable and doing everything they can to continue this love affair with criminality. it gets harder and harder to be a democrat in this modern era as it becomes more radicalized by the left politicians who once
6:14 pm
pursued policies that make absolutely no sense and completely forget the true victims of violence. >> why would you associate with a party that believes in no laws and defund and dismantle the police? >> because, sean, to be quite honest, somebody has to stand up for the same thinking people who still call themselves democrats within this party. i refused to abandon my party to the left of left lunacy that is trying to take hold. there is commonsense that can be brought to both the democratic republic period and republican party. >> this is since 2009. you are not making any progress. it is getting worse. >> i haven't been elected since 2009, but i will stand my ground and be sure to be a beacon of common sense for my party. not everyone believes in the embracing of criminality like we see so many democrats dew. hearing the comments from aoc and others that are completely
6:15 pm
contradicted to ensuring the public safety is something we need to be able to stand up against. too many people are afraid to do that. i refused to cower to them. >> you been on the streets of new york for decades and have done a great job with the guardian endangers. you would have been a great mayor. but they are getting worse and worse and worse. we know how to prevent this. rudy giuliani laid out the game plan to win and save lives. why don't they follow that? see that it is already the template is there which is zero-tolerance quality of life. make sure the small crimes are not just voided. a small crime is treated as a serious crime. people realize there are consequences. i understand what the alderman is talking about. i spent a lot of time in chicago. it's my second city. they said let's hair down the high-rise projects. like cabrini green, all of which
6:16 pm
i have patrolled. they built townhouses. but you don't stop the problem just by taking somebody from the 20th floor and give them a two family house. it's the stability of the family. we have to eliminate the dysfunction and we have to preach respect for the police and not the gang bangers. to the alderman who is a moderate them a crack, the last time i was with you i started the ronald reagan club to bring moderate democrats, republicans and independents together to fight aoc and the socialists who want to disrespect the police, who want to defund the police and teach our young people to look up to gang bangers instead of police officers. i want to join you in solidarity. i want to help you take back the democratic party. it used to be the democratic party of my mom and dad and grandparents. that's a fight for what we know what is right. let's improve and not move south. >> we just played tape of a cop getting attacked in broad
6:17 pm
daylight in new york city. your city. you patrolled those streets all the time. look at this video. the cop did not even see it coming. that's how little respect people now have for law enforcement. how do we get to that point and how do you fix that? >> sean, i can only tell you dealing with the emotionally disturbed person of which this guy was, he should have been in a psychiatric facility receiving his medication. we turn them loose in the streets. they will attack police officers. they will attack you and me. they have attacked me before. we need to make sure we get them off the streets. we care for them. and then go after the gang bangers who are trying to recruit a new generation to turn on us and turn on the police. if we would only come together and support our pleas, let them do their job they have been trained to do and they risk their lives every day. they don't get a lot of pay. let's do this in solidarity and fight aoc and bernie sanders who
6:18 pm
want america to be a socialist country. we are a country of freedom. we are a country of capitalism. we are a country of hope that immigrants, to because they don't want to have socialism. they have escaped socialism and communism. >> we will give you the last word. you are a victim and your family has been victimized. you lost your brother. these politicians seem to do nothing. what are your thoughts? >> they seem to do nothing and i will tell you the solution for what we are seeing across the country is law and order. that's the only solution. you see what brandon johnson says. some of these kids have been starved of opportunity. i grew up extremely poor. my mom was into crack cocaine. but i call my dear friend sean hannity and tell him what i think about what is going on across the country. there is opportunity and hope for those who wanted. >> i hope this never happens to any other family what you have had to go through and all these
6:19 pm
other families have had to live through. it is hell on earth. thank you all. does the left think that it's above the law? we have two new reports that show hunter biden's stories this week seem to suggest that. we will check in with gregg jarrett, larry elder as we continue. stay with us. sometimes you're so busy taking care of everyone else you don't do enough for yourself, or your mouth. but eventually, it will remind you. when it does, aspen dental is here for you. we offer the custom dental treatments you need, all under one roof, right nearby. so we can bring more life to your smile... and more smile to your life... affordably. new patients without insurance can get a free complete exam and x-rays, and 20 percent off treatment plans. schedule your appointment today.

welcome to fox news live. in a highly anticipated decision the supreme court votes to preserve access to the abortion pill mifepristone at least for now. the order is a temporary victory for the biden administration puts on hold a lower court ruling that will rollback the fda approval of the drug. mifepristone was approved by the

fda 23 years ago. the manhattan da office a drawer withdraws its appeal for house republicans to question a former prosecutor about the criminal case against former president trump. manhattan district attorney alvin bragg filed the suit asking a court about elements of the congressional inquiry. he called it a, quote, brazen and unconstitutional attack of an ongoing investigation. republicans in turn called the case against trump politically motivated. i am jeff paul for all your headlines. log on to foxnews.com. now back to hannity. welcome back to the special edition of hannity. hunter biden has been under federal investigation after years and as we know from the laptop from hell there is plenty of evidence against him. so why has he not been charged? this week an irs whistleblower came forward to allege that hunter is getting special treatment from the feds.
6:25 pm
the whistleblower's attorney also says this client has information that will contradict the testimony of a senior official who we now know is the attorney general merrick garland. according to one report, there is growing frustration within the fbi that hunter biden has not been charged with anything despite the fact that evidence shows that he could be hit but at least tax evasion, failure to file his taxes, lying on a gun application form. we are also hearing tonight that hunter biden's attorneys our meeting with doj officials next week including the u.s. attorney for delaware who is overseeing the tax case. this isn't the first time that someone in joe biden's orbit covered for hunter. we know that secretary of state tony winking lincoln was instrumental in crafting the famous letter denouncing hunter's laptop as russian disinformation. 51 former intel guys. apparently if your last name is biden you get a free pass no
6:26 pm
matter what. your last name is trump, anything you have ever done, if you spit on the sidewalk or jay walker, everything is fair game. here with reaction is foxnews legal analyst and newly announced 2024 presidential candidate larry elder. are you out of your mind? i have to ask that first question. why are you running for president? who wants that kind of scrutiny in their life? >> our country is in trouble. if good people stay on the sidelines because they are afraid of scrutiny we lose our republic. that's why i'm asking people to go to my website and throw something in the tip jar. really quick, it's got to be abundantly clear by now. o.j. simpson will find the killer or killers before the biden administration is concluded. not just 51 people signed senior intelligence people and that tony blinken lead this thing. they know it was a lie because the doj had the laptop on 2019 and they knew it was authentic.
6:27 pm
regarding the irs whistleblower, i am shocked there are not more whistleblowers. you don't need a whistleblower to know that he was dragging his feet. he doesn't want to investigate it. it's a two tier system of justice. it's outrageous. that's why i will roll out a plan to deal with the soft on crime das like alvin bragg in new york and fox in chicago and la and the others that are taking federal dollars but not enforcing the law. >> the 51 former intel guys knew nothing about this laptop. they did not know a thing. tony blinken leads the way. my question is, is that legal? is that election interference in any way? any crime possibly associated with this? >> well, it could be very much like the 2016 election and the actions of hillary clinton. this is the second presidential election in a row in which
6:28 pm
democrats aided by government officials have perpetrated dirty political tricks in order to rig the election. in 2016 it was hillary's invention of the russia hoax which the fbi then pedaled to the media to damage trump. now in 2020 you have the biden campaign that tony blinken convinces mike morel to get 50 other intelligence officials to live. they knew there was no intelligence information, that this was russian disinformation. this was a political operation and it worked. when joe biden held it up in the last presidential debate and said, look at this. my son is innocent. that influence the election in duly. americans were deprived of the full amount of information they needed. it made a difference. >> could there be a quid pro quo
6:29 pm
here? you do this for me and i will make you secretary of state? >> yeah, of course. is it any wonder that tony blinken was given the prestigious coveted job of secretary of state? mike morel did not get the job he wanted, which is cia director. maybe that is why he has suddenly decided to come clean and expose the corruption. >> larry, what were you going to say? >> the scary thing, greg and sean, but for the computer store owner making a copy of this thing, we probably never would have known about it. as i said earlier the doj had this in their hands since 2019 and did nothing with it. we never would have known about it at all. talk about election interference. are you kidding me? >> what about the irs whistleblower seeking protection now, greg. and implicating the attorney general saying he may have lied under oath to congress.
6:30 pm
how real is that charge in your view? >> well, this is obstruction of justice by the department of justice. obstruction in the criminal code says corruptly impeding and influencing a legal investigation. that's what the whistleblower describes. two u.s. attorneys appointed by joe biden answerable to merrick garland came forward and stop to the criminal prosecution of hunter biden over his influence peddling schemes that implicate the president of the united states. that is if it's done for a corrupt purpose, political favoritism. political interference. that is obstruction of justice. >> do you see this going anywhere, larry? >> i do. this is not the only whistleblower. they are going to be several going forward. whether or not the non-fox media will give a rip. the answer is they won't. cnn and msnbc, i watch it often.
6:31 pm
this is probably the most corrupt information i've seen in my lifetime. the trump family had one fraction of this kind of filth on them, it would be nonstop on the non-fox networks. the question is whether or not the rest of the country knows about it. all too sadly is they don't. >> favorable treatment from merrick garland will be the last word here. tony blinken gets 51 former intel guys to lie to the american people about the laptop of hunter biden. they are all going to get away with it. they will all get away with it. >> yeah, because the fix is in. this is like a rigged card game where merrick garland and joe biden are dealing from the bottom of the deck. they are in control. david weiss who wanted to file the charges against hunter biden went to merrick garland and asked to have him elevated to special counsel status to give
6:32 pm
him independence and autonomy witch garland promised in his testimony. what did garland do. he said absolutely no. that tells you everything you need to know about this. >> thank you. larry, we wish you the best. i think you are crazy, but i am glad you are in there for all the right reasons. we appreciate it. up next, jim jordan exposing alvin bragg and the dual system of justice. right in front of your face we will show you the highlights. pam, tommy bruce are up next, straight ahead.

d thanks to the hands-off policies of the da alvin bragg. has a guy that has an obsession with donald trump. instead of protecting the people of new york. anyway, democrats that were onit tethe committee use the hearingo trash crime victims who were testifying calling them props hr and ponds. here is how madeline brain responded. now her son a retired military was murdered back in 2018, stabbed to death in new york city. take a look. a >> were you a prop?kn >> absolutely not.ow. i would challenge this gentleman, whatever his name is. >> hank johnson.oo >> td.o step 1 foot in the hood. e if those people they are in the hood are props as well. you know? he is a rich black man. all right? he is a rich black manh that isl killing poor blackac men that ty are props. and that the crime and the things they are experiencing is

not as bad as they think they are. not just him.m alnot just him. o all the elected officials, you know? all of them, especially the ones running new york.s posent that was powerful. later in the week alvin bragg suffered another loss when the r court ruled that mark pomerantz who worked on the case against donald trump had to testify before the judiciary committee. that decision is being appealed. here is former florida attorney general pam bondi, fox news contributor tammy bruce. let' s get your take on this. i thought madeleine was phenomenal. i think she took that committeeh to task. how dare they say she is a prop. >> sean, this is why americans are outraged for situations just like this. b she is a hero. she is brave. she is a grieving mother.ec shute is why prosecutors go to w school to prosecute cases, to bt able teco protect victims like r husband who was almost mortally wounded and her son who wasly

than ever as a record number of migrants and traffickers continue to pour through our wide open border. last month a seven-year-old and her grandmother were tragically killed in a car crash as a smuggler tried to evade police. earlier this week mayorkas was grilled over the tragedy and he testified on capitol hill laughably claiming that the border is secure. it is not. here is what he said. 2 they are sitting right behind you. they came here today because they want answers. they came here today because of the failures of you and your leadership. they came here because they want closure. they deserve answers. mr. mayorkas, when you turn around and offer them your condolences and apology for the failure of your administration? it led to the death of their loved ones. they are standing right there. mr. secretary, they are standing there and deserve an apology from you. do you disagree with the head border patrol agent when he said
6:50 pm
our border is not secure? >> congressman i have testified to that issue. >> you disagree with your chief of border patrol? >> this guy is beyond pathetic. meanwhile, a report this week came out and says the biden administration turned a blind eye to the migrants at the border being forced into child labor leading to this very tense exchange between senator josh hawley and mayorkas who as usual deflected blame back to donald trump. take a look. >> why have you permitted 345,000 children to come into this country unaccompanied? why have you permitted thousands of them to be abused and exploited? >> what we do is enforce the law. let me say this. it is stunning to me, stunning, to hear you say that the prior administration reunited children with their parents. >> so this is their fault? you are not going to take any

not only to protect the children in our own country, but to protect the children being trafficked into our country. there are 85,000 children that have disappeared into the fabric of this country that office of refugee resettlement knows they cannot find them. they asked hhs secretary xavier becerra, tell us where these children are. some of these children have been abused like josh hawley has said. they have been found in homes that are not their parents or guardians. these children have been sexually abused. this is unheard of. this is all because the biden administration has a chaotic border that they want. they want to leave this border open. this is the reason why our border patrol agents, our immigrations and customs officers have their hands tied behind their backs and are coming out and saying we need to do something about this now be sore before something worse happens in our country.

>> they keep blaming donald trump, donald trump. my question to you, when you compare and contrast donald trump and his policies to joe biden and mayorkas and their policies, what are the major differences? >> we have to understand where i come from. i am not a former patrol agent. i am the current federal employee. i see what goes on every single day. i have to deal with this every single day. we take children into custody every single day and understand what will happen to them. they will be released to the united states and go into indentured servitude. those are the policies we see. every time you hear mayorkas speak he gives nothing but political rhetoric. he does not give facts. let's look at the actual facts. more people have crossed the border illegally and released to the united states than in our history. there is more fentanyl flowing across our borders than in history. cartels are making more money. there are more people crossing the border illegally and evading apprehension than in our

history. we are apprehending more people on the terrorist watch list than in our history. those are all indisputable facts. none of that happened under president trump. we had the border secured because we had the proper policies and programs. by the way, sean, policies and programs don't cost the american public a dime. all we have to do is implement the proper laws and we will be able to shut the border down. but we cannot do it under this administration because they want the chaos. >> sarah you reported on drugs, human trafficking and sex abuse a lot on this program. how bad is it for people that don't know? >> it is horrific, sean. some of these children, we have more than 20,000 children in mexico that have completely disappeared. that is before they even make it to our border. inside the united states we have people that abuse them. these children are trafficked. i have seen pictures which we cannot show on the show.

children in the back of trunks and vehicles. children being trafficked alone. some of them young three-year-old children with grown men in a vehicle are coming over the mountains. there are children being lost right now in panama coming through the darien gap. i just spoke to michael young. he has been collecting information. there are rape kits handing out to people. imagine what is happening. this is happening all because of the policy of the biden administration. we never sought this under president drum. i've been covering the border for 20 years. >> thank you both. it is sad and preventable. thank you both. more hannity straight ahead. she found it. the feeling of finding the psoriasis treatment she's been looking for. sotyktu is the first-of-its-kind, once-daily pill for moderate-to-severe plaque psoriasis for the chance at clear or almost clear skin. it's like the feeling of finding that outfit psoriasis tried to hide from you. or finding your swimsuit is ready for primetime.
