general. good morning, matt. >> good morning, will. will: the whistle blower pointing to merrick garland in his testimony before congress. there's going to be fact finding on this and find out what is true and what is not. if it is true, what could be the fallout for merrick garland? >> it could be significant and it's very concerning that the attorney general of the united states would be putting his thumb on the scale of an investigation. these investigations are typically handled by the professionals at the department of justice and merrick garland as you saw there told us that he was not interfering and was not going to interfere but it's very clear as this whistle blower's testimony is coming to light and bestill have a lot -- we still have a lot more to learn in this regard, but it is obvious to me that this case is not being treated in regular order. that was one of the things i made sure while i was attorney general to emphasize was how we were going to follow regular order. we weren't going to cut corners,
