stevenson. it happened twice in a row. the big question is, the first time it broke for joe biden. the second time, would it break for donald trump? right now the polls seem to suggest that americans would like other choices. 70% of americans said they didn't want joe biden to run. 60 percent said donald trump. it would be interesting if there were some other faces involved. and that's why ron desantis sitting on the sideline along with a bunch of other republicans who are probably going to declare shortly. avians ains yeah. it is going to be interesting to watch this election play out. because, if you vote for joe biden, many people, the majority think he is a puppet for the democratic party. he ran as a moderate. he ran to unite. that's not happening. they're telling him how to vote. they are telling him what to push for. and that's energy. that is -- that women get to make their own decisions some say abortion at the very end. even the day before you can have an abortion.

>> steve: you may hear this soon at your next checkup. the doctor is out but a. is taking a look at you. a new report shows artificial intelligence based approach can more accurately predict if and when a patient could die of a cardiac arrest. and apparently it's better than your traditional doctor. so how reliable is the tech right now? let's talk to cardiologist dr. craig bassman. doctor, good morning to you. >> steve, good morning. >> steve: doctors will never be replaced but it looks like ai technology is very effective of predicting when people are going to have trouble down the line. >> yes, certainly. cardiac death remains to be a major concern in our health community with, you know, more than 350,000 patients each year having cardiac arrest and the mortality rate is greater than 80% for those patients. we're excellent at treating cardiac arrest for patients that

arrive in the hospital. but, most of those patients do not make it to the hospital. >> by that point it's just too late. >> by that point it's too late. the study really looked at subset population of heart failure and looked at artificial intelligence using a subset of ai called deep learning, to see if they could create a framework to predict sudden cardiac death. among these patients with the caveat being these are patients with heart failure already. patient more prone to having saturday yack cardiac death they have weak hearts. >> steve: created an algorithm figures out in the future how things are going to be. like the algorithm in tiktok figures out what you want to watch next, actually this has to do with your ticker i guess i didn't mean to make a pun but i guess i did. that particular algorithm is really good. so, if i'm sitting at home watching this, and i want to have my doctor look into that so i can be checked out for it, are

we that far yet? >> so, steve, we're nowhere near that far yet. you know, we have to understand that this was in a population with heart failure. and basically, these are patients that are more prone to sudden cardiac death. so what the innovative study at -- from johns hopkins did was they looked at advanced diagnostic modality cardiac imaging. they combined with it with clinical variables, things like age, gender and medical problems and medications they are on. they created a framework to help predict the risk of having sudden cardiac death. what can we do about that? well, we have one therapy that we can provide for patients who are at risk for sudden cardiac death. and that sim planting a cardiac debib brill later icd. >> steve: this technology. you know what? have a problem five years from now. have that installed sooner that
