all lives matter. still can't get hired. he spent 30 years as the sacramento kings play-by-play voice. tammy bruce is in for sean hannity. i saw the schedule. the music is going to get louder. we'll toss to her. i saw her rundown. you'll love that show. thanks for watching all week. see you soon. stay within yourself. >> welcome, everyone. welcome to this special edition of "hannity time. i'm tammy bruce. biden's polls are plummeting, his age showing, and his blunders are mounting. a new gallup poll shows him with his lowest approval rating, 37%. a recent survey revealed 70% of
6:01 pm
americans -- 70% -- do not think biden should run again. with nearly half of those crying his age as a major reason why. remember, biden will turn 82 shortly after the election. and even biden's own aides are raising the alarm about his diminished energy level, taking axios it's difficult to schedule events in the morning, in the evening, or on the weekends. and there's renewed concern about his age after biden suffered through yet another bizarre gaffe-filled week. take a look at this. >> we know that there's no -- there's no such thing -- there's so much more to finish the job. >> speaker, former president, maga extremists are cut from a different cloth. they treat these folks -- they treat these folks, think they're a threat. they think that somehow we're
6:02 pm
going to go back. with regard to age, i can't even say is how old i am. i can't even say the number. it doesn't register with me. >> i'm trying to think of the last place i was. it's hard to keep track. oh, ireland. that's where it was. >> what's your favorite movie? >> favorite movie was a new movie that was about that guy who flies jet planes. you know who i'm talking about? >> top gun"? >> "top gun." >> mr. president, you heard you have to get back to the oval office. >> what was that? oh, hi. how are you? >> hi. >> what did you say? >> i said i heard you have to get back to the oval office. >> by the way, the one thing i thought when i got to be president, i get to give orders, but i take more orders than i ever did. you're right.
6:03 pm
>> yeah. now he's taking orders from toddlers, right? while joe is blundering around washington, kamala harris' week wasn't much better. she gave another bizarre speech, which included another word salad. watch this. >> i think it's very important as you have heard from so many incredible leaders, for us at every moment in time, certainly this one, to see the moment in time in which we exist in our present, and to be able to contextualize it, to understand where we exist in the history and in the moment as it relates not only to the past but the future. >> i trust them don't get in our way. 'cause if you do, we're going to stand up, organize, speak up, and we're going to say we're not having that, we're not playing that. >> oh, dear. of course the left is rushing to
6:04 pm
her defense. former white house chief of staff dipped into the diplomatic playbook and blamed the criticism, of course, on racism and sexism. well, that's a new one. here with relax, fox news contributor and former speaker of the house, newt gingrich, one of our great ones, of course. speaker gingrich, thank you for joining us. i have to say i'm always uncomfortable with the complaint about age, because everyone's different at different ages. it doesn't mean that someone younger would be better or someone older can't function. nancy pelosi was doing a good job for the democrats. older than biden. what is your take on what we -- you think we're being gentle about his cognitive issues, which does strike some people at a certain age. where do you think we're at right now with this kind of chaos? >> age is a personal thing.
6:05 pm
henry kissinger just turned 100 and writing his own book. biden clearly that is significant confusion, and it's clearly getting worse. i frankly wouldn't be surprised to see him not to get be to the nominee again, because i think all these things compound. i think whether it's robert kennedy or somebody else, he's going to face very serious challenges bay the time we get to the primaries next year. kamala harris is a different problem. i mean, kamala harris combines a level of incompetence with a level of weirdness that we've never seen in a vice president before. i think if you went out and asked people you think she should be president, the answer would be overwhelmingly no. if you point out to them that if biden gets re-elected, she's vice president, she has a real chance of becoming president. i think that's a huge drag on biden for re-election.
6:06 pm
so what he has showed tonight is typical of what we're living through. what strikes me about it is, it has real world implications. there's rumors tonight that the dictator of china is about to cut a deal between russia and ukraine, and he'll get a noble l peace prize, and five years ago that would have been unthinkable, but yet with biden, he's not a commander in chief, he's an appeaser in chief. all these things are possible. if you have kamala harris, she wouldn't be chief of anything. i think we're in a difficult period in american history. >> what's interesting is, his announcement, one would have thought that he was waiting because he had to placate or rally all of the different sectors in the democratic party to back him in this regard.
6:07 pm
part of that clearly was kamala harris. otherwise there was other options, you know, interesting options, frankly, like bobby kennedy. wouldn't that have been an interesting choice to make but clearly he couldn't do that without disrupting the far left in the party. one wonders if they'll do what they did in '20, usher him there, and the intention is for kamala harris to become the president, and presuming then she would be carried through for the next -- well, she'd have two years, and then i guess another eight. i don't think we can survive that kind of dynamic. it means that our system, as the voters making these choices, has collapsed in some way. >> the challenge we have, the problems we now face, have moved beyond politics into history. this is one of those moments in time, when even a great country
6:08 pm
like the united states can disintegrate. this is extraordinarily dangerous. this is way beyond republican/democrat. this is a president who shows he's not every day. a vice president who shows, even if she was there, she wouldn't be there. an ideological base that is so left, that on every single issue they're opposed to the american people, trying to impose on the american people a set of values and actions which the american people don't want. we've never seen anything like this in our history. we have to see it as historic, not just political. this is a real moment for america. >> yeah. this is not that, you know, all roads lead to rome, and we're
6:09 pm
just fighting on the direction of where we're going to be headed. this is a completely different framework. when you've seen such dramatic change in such a short period of time -- you know, in biden's time, sir, we have lost four embassies. we eventually got the -- we were able to reopen the ukrainian embassy. but then you've got china, as we've discussed brokering effectively a peace deal between iran and saudi arabia. it's as though the world is moving on and we're parked 10 miles back, and china is at the head of the train. i think americans realize that this isn't just a moment that is going to resolve itself. are the republicans addressing this properly? because i'm not hearing the concern about biden or the concern about the direction or the seriousness of what this all represents, except for from donald trump perhaps. >> look, first of all, i think that the victory this week of
6:10 pm
speaker mccarthy and the house republicans in passing, a debt ceiling with real reform, spending cuts, that's a historic moment. that's a real shift in the direction of the country. i think also your point is exactly right. we have watched something i wouldn't have thought possible. we have a president who is probably the most corrupt president in american history. he has a secretary of state who was making money at the penn biden center, while the communist chinese were pouring cash into the university of pennsylvania. you have an administration, which seems to want a smaller, weaker, less effective america. they do not policies. this whole idea, for example, of a chinese battery factory in michigan paid for in part by the state government of michigan? >> ha-ha-ha. >> trying desperately to make
6:11 pm
the chinese dominant. what more could you do than the biden democrats are currently doing? >> yeah. all of that, sir, mr. speaker, leaving 16,000 americans effectively abandoned in sudan with -- you know, you're on your own, shelter in place. that used to be sacrosanct to rescue americans, leaving no one on the field, right? even that now is out the window. newt gingrich, thank you for all of that. thank you for the history of this, is what we need, recognizing that this is not politics as usual. i think a lot of people don't understand that, or get it. now, cheat sheet joe also made a comeback this week after biden was caught using another notecard on wednesday with detailed instructions to call on an "l.a. times" reporter first. despite the reporter being the first unition by joe and asking a question that was outlined on the sheet, the "l.a. times"
6:12 pm
denied its reporter submitted the question in advance. white house press secretary careen jean pierre trade to pour cold water on the story. watch this. >> people saw the pocket card. can you explain how that ended up there, why the president needed something like that? >> look, we do not have specific questions in advance. that's not something we do. our job is to get a sense of what y'all want to ask him. that's our job here, to get a sense of the news of the day, the topics you all are interested to ask of him. >> well, there you go. here with reaction, because they do have opinions, fox news contributors, charlie hurt, leo terrell, and joe concha. charlie, let me start with you. i found that "l.a. times" denial very interesting. they said we don't do this, right? this is not what we do. somebody did it.
6:13 pm
it's almost as though they were throwing that reporter under the bus, because it's not like a leprechaun clipped it and printed it and left it on joe biden's desk. what did you make of the denial, especially the "l.a. times"' denial? >> everybody involved seems to be lying, including the "l.a. times," which is very, very disturbing considering their job is to be in that room on behalf of the american people, and to ask questions and get answers and tell the truth. you juxtaposed the question right. somehow the president ended up with that question in his hands. somehow that happened. we don't know at this point whether it was a question that the "l.a. times" reporter gave to the white house or perhaps even worse the white house wrote out and gave to the "l.a. times" reporter to ask. >> oh. >> either way, the white house
6:14 pm
correspondents association has an investigation to do. this is a -- this is corruption. this is an abbro gas station of the responsibility of the white house press corps. they have a responsibility to find out what's going on here, because this is not why we allow the press in the press briefing room. >> leo, you're in los angeles. we know about media. you know, it's declined. people are not buying newspapers. the media is an important element of american society and of democracy. they are destroying their industry. i had not thought of charlie's possibility that in fact that was written for her. you're in there. we know the "l.a. times" has had tough times lately. all the newspapers in southern california have. in the media in general, what's your take on what this means? >> well, i'll tell you right now, tammy, the idea of the
6:15 pm
media trying to be an impartial bystander watching government is over. there's a marriage between the democratic party and 95% of the media. they're married together. they're working together to conceal the truth. charlie's right. they're lying, in my opinion. objectivity, out the window. if you want facts, you watch it here on fox news. as far as objectivity, they're covering for joe biden. they're covering for kamala harris. everything they do, they have an excuse. they think we're stupid. he they're lying to us and think we'll believe it. i got news for you, the echo chamber of these individuals who honestly believe this, no. most people don't get the news. they get the lies from the left wing media. that's the big problem right now. that's scary as we go into 2024. >> yeah. clearly, joe, your work has been
6:16 pm
to look and critique the media. i mean, we've seen this decline. it's not a surprise. but i think it's a concern if they normalize that it's this bad because then that affects everything else and makes everything else useless and untrustworthy. >> and tammy, it hasn't always been this way. in 1976, three-quarters of the american public trusted the media, trusted the news that they were getting, the people presenting it. now that number has turned on its head where it's in the single digits, if you ask republicans/conservatives if they trust the media. there's the denials after being cut with a cheat sheet, the card said, "question number one" on it, and careen jean pierre says
6:17 pm
the they had the ability to -- the "l.a. times" said, oh, no, we never shared it in advance. it appears to anyone, sane and lucid, this reporter was called on first, because she cooperated with the white house. tammy, i'll leave it here, by the way, there's a reason why the president has not done a solo press conference in six months. you'll find adam kinzinger at mar-a-lago before you you see joe biden or his vice president taking a tough question. the president's handlers hope to win re-election by pleading the fifth, tammy. >> charlie, all of this kind of signals that we'll have another basement presidency with the legacy media effectively representing the campaign. is that what we can expect moving forward? >> i'm afraid so. of course this kind of collusion we're seeing right now between the white house and the press
6:18 pm
corps is exactly what got joe biden and the white house in the first place, because they were working in cahoots with the campaign to cover up the bad stuff. then, of course, report and, you know, as gospel every smear against joe biden's opponent in the last election. and my bigger fear, quite frankly, tammy, is that i think that this basement strategy for a campaign will be even easier for the biden campaign doing it from the white house, because you've got all the trappings of the white house. i think it's going to be even -- he's going to be even more deeply ens ensconced in the bunr than last time. that's not a way to run a free country. >> and there's no mornings, no evenings, no weekends, and it's like a long lunch, whereas the rest of the world is eating our
6:19 pm
lunch. it become as i national security issue, leo, because we're supposed to know what's going on, and the media has abandoned that role. the democratic party seems to have abandoned that seriousness as well. >> you're absolutely right. here's the other situation, no primary debates. joe biden can't get away by running the 2020 politics, by hiding in the basement. he has to come out. he'll have to be challenged, because the american people have seen the fact that this guy is not all there. so he'll have to come out and defend his record. it's going to be indefensible. that's the key to making sure we get trump in the white house. >> i'll tell you, you know, joe, when it comes to what we expect -- look, there's a lot of news that happens every day. we get distracted to certain kinds of news. in the meantime, as i mentioned to speaker gingrich, we've abandoned 16,000 americans in sudan. you would think that would have been a top story, that we've
6:20 pm
lost four embassies, we've got one back in ukraine, and that we just -- you know, walked away from effectively 16,000 people. the white house said that, oh, we can't do it, because, you know, it's too dangerous to fly people in and out, but the european countries are doing exactly that. so here you've got a media not asking the questions that then reveal what the real serious news is. that puts the whole country in danger. >> precisely. the focus is on donald trump, the person, right, or whatever legal troubles he's having. 16,000 sudan americans as you mentioned. 182 people have been arrested, crossing into this country that were on the fbi terror watch list. those are ones we know about. that should be a big story. we don't hear much about that. as a parent, tammy, we have test scores in this country, a.c.t. test scores at a 30-year-long. we barely here about education.
6:21 pm
that's a big deal to people. we should be focusing on stories that matter to people, their families, and instead we get all this other stuff, i won't say the word, that is irrelevant. that's why the trust in media is so low. there's a complete disconnect to what matters to people and what's being reported. >> exactly. gentlemen, it's odd, because you can't prove a negative, so you might not notice what you're not being told. that is one of the most dangerous things in the world. gentlemen, thank you all very much. charlie, leo and joe, three of the best there. thank you, gentlemen. now coming up, house oversight committee chairman james comer as possible breaking news in witness intimidation in the hunter biden investigation. surprise. he joins us next to explain. my most important kitchen tool? my brain. so i choose neuriva plus. unlike some others, neuriva plus is a multitasker supporting 6 key indicators

>> welcome back to this special edition of "hannity." house oversight chairman james comer is sounding the alarm over possible witness intimidation in the hunter biden probe. he says some witnesses are fearing for their lives and are afraid to come forward. what does that mean for the irs whistleblower accusing the government of interfering with the investigation into hunter's taxes? the irs commissioner promised there would not be no retaliation for anyone making allegations against the agency. here now with the latest on all of this is house oversight committee chairman james comer. representative comer, thank you for being here with me tonight. normally when i guest host for sean, i tend to bite you. you're doing a great sport.
6:27 pm
you're doing a great job. this issue is dramatically serious. you know, the hunter biden thing is really about joe biden, and that family, the corruption of that family. it's also about the security of this country, if our agencies have been weaponized against the american people. these are serious allegations. how do you see this when it comes to the nature of threats that may have already been issued, and what are we going to do about it? >> well, it's very concerning. i'm sounding the alarm publicly. we know that some on hunter biden's legal team have made contact with some people that we've been communicating with to get information. we know that some on hunter biden's legal team have reached out and communicated with some of the people that -- and institutions -- that we've subpoenaed. >> wow. >> we know that people within the biden administration have reached out and expressed their disappointment with some people
6:28 pm
subpoenaed and some people cooperating with us. this is very concerning, because this is an investigation about public corruption at the highest level. this is an investigation to determine whether or not our white house and this administration's compromised because of the millions and millions of dollars they've taken from adversaries around the world. so we've got a situation where more and more people are coming forward. we're thankful for the irs whistleblower. i'm confident in the next few weeks we'll have more whistleblowers come forward. it's important that our whistleblowers are protected, the democratic politicians, the media, the legal team for the biden family, they need to be careful in not intimidating our witnesses, because we need to get the truth and present the facts to the american people. >> in the normal world, sir, if you were intimidating withinses during an investigation, that would be a crime. in talking about it publicly is importants, but it proves the point of why we need to
6:29 pm
investigate this family, because this is part and parcel of the corruption. is there everything alleges we can do to make the whistleblowers feel safe enough to come forward? >> well, we're sounding the alarm, seld. we have every republican eye in washington, d.c. with the irs that's going to come forward, that they're not retaliated, they're not intimidated. we're going to make sure they can present the truth. you also have a situation where many. these people who were in the biden influence sphere, with the influence peddling scheme, they want to come forward. they want to tell the truth. but not only are they worried about biden's lawyers and democratic politicians in the media, they're worried about these foreign nationals they've been dealing with. look, this money is not coming from the best and brightest in
6:30 pm
our adversarial countries. it's coming in bad actors. we want to be successful in our, getting every bit of evidence, presenting it to the american people, without intimidation, without any type of obstruction from this white house to this department of justice. >> well, sir, if anyone can do it, you can. it is good that the american people know this is happening. you turn the light on. it does seem to keep people a bit safer. the country is at stake here. chairman james comer, thank you very much, sir. i appreciate it. joining us now with more reaction, some analysis of this is fox news legal analyst greg jarrett and fox news contributor miranda divine. miranda, i'll start with you. we've been through the process, seen corruption and the silencing and censorship of you, the "new york post," whistleblowers, but it begins to
6:31 pm
feel like this is a cartel. i mean, am i going to far with that? it's like this is not the country -- i know our country has never been perfect, lord knows, and it's a great place, and we're all flawed, but this is crazy sauce going on right now. >> it really is disturbing, but i guess we shouldn't be surprised considering the extent of the biden family influence peelingsing scheme, the fact they were quite happy to, you know, take money from our adversaries, and the extent of the cover-up, even bigger than the original corruption story. people in the white house are reaching out, expressing disappointment to people who are cooperating with comer's
6:32 pm
subpoenas. that's telling, i think. as far as the intimidation of other witnesses, you also heard james comer really -- that was a threat. he was, in his gentle way, he was warning them that thatties, as you very aptly asked the follow-up question, that's a crime to intimidate witnesses. >> right. you know, it's very nice, he's very good, we're seeing things here that we just can't look at and shrug at. that would be a crime in the normal world. greg, you know, we've got subtle dynamic of when you get a disappointment -- i don't know. it would lelike john gotti walking up and saying i'm disappointed you didn't support me last week. orant of town, you leave, because you don't know what's to going to happen. it seems like it's a similar operation to intimidate and silence. >> yeah, it is. if it's true that the
6:33 pm
whistleblowers who have come forward to congress pursuant to their investigation are now fearful of testifying under threat by hunter biden's lawyers and friends, those are crimes in fact, four crimes, obstruction of congressional procedure, conspiracy to obstruct, witness tampering and retaliation against witnesses. these are intimidation thuggish scare tactics. three months ago, you'll recall, hunter biden and his lawyers decided the best defense is a good offense. so they sent letters to the people who exposed the laptop, threatening them with legal action. >> right. >> at the same time they sent letters demanding criminal investigations by the irs, the department of justice, and the delaware state attorney, into these people. think about what that is. that's hunter biden asking his dad's agency to take legal action against his accusers.
6:34 pm
if that ain't corruption, i don't know what is. it also extends to the media. hunter biden's lawyers have sent threatening letters over defamation to the reporting accurately of the laptop's contents, you. all the while hunter insists, it may not be my laptop. everybody knows it is. the fbi verified it. news organizations have corroborated it. hunter biden may have to answer the question come monday, because an arkansas judge in a paternity case involving him has demanded he appear in court. hunter is trying to skate on child support payments for a little girl that dna says is his. what about the laptop and tens of millions of dollars in evidence that went into your bank accounts? i want you to appear in court on monday and answer the pivotal question. >> well, so at least with that
6:35 pm
judge he won't necessarily escape, and has to deliver and show up. miranda, when it comes to you, of course the "new york post," that work that has to continue, do you think this kind of intimidation for those who are willing to look, because it's not much in the legacy media. the "new york post," you know, it certainly feels independent, but it's like the oldest newspaper in the country. how do you see this unfolding when it comes to what you are going to have to deal with as a reporter, as a columnist, what the "new york post" has to deal with? >> i don't think the intimidation tactics can work, because as expensive and as talented and skilled as hunter biden's lawyers are, it's just like whack-a-mole at the moment for them, because there are whistleblowers coming out of the woodwork. james comer just tipped you off to a few coming up that we don't even know of. the irs whistleblower has enormous amounts of emails and so on. he'll be testifying shortly. he has the receipts.
6:36 pm
then you have, as greg just said, this case on monday. now, i have no doubt that hunter's very clever lawyers are going to have some sort of settlement with the baby mama before he has to go to court on monday, because they do not want him opening up the kimono in arkansas when comes to his financial documents. that's the last thing they want. >> all excellent points. there are surprises. it sounds like we're on at least a good track to getting some news and to getting some whistleblowers who can crack this egg for us, if you will. thank you both miranda and greg. great stuff. next up, biden's border crisis is about to get even worse with title 42 ending next month. we'll explain as this special edition of "hannity" continues.

6:41 pm
>> welcome back to this special edition of "hannity." biden's border crisis is, believe it or not, about to get much worse. with the national covid emergency, of course, officially ending finally, title 42 expires on may 11th. border crossings are expected to explode. the biden administration is desperately trying to stem the flow by setting up migrant centers in south american countries, but it may be already too late. the city of el paso is currently overwhelmed with migrants who are supposed to be banned from entry by title 42. so there you go. but they're still being let in. some migrants told the "new york post," all they needed to do to gain entry was to try again on another day, you know, because there's always another day. here now with more are former acting director of i.c.e., fox news contributor, tom holman and
6:42 pm
national border patrol council president brandon judd. tom, let me start with you. i was struck by this migrant center announcement that's going to be run by our international partners. that would be the un, as an example, who would determine who gets to be allowed in the inbounds based on our regulations and laws. not us, but our international parties, which is internationalists making this decision. is this going to help? is it going to hurt? what's your take on this? >> it's not going to help at all. as a matter of fact, two things. number one, it's illegal. they're going to lose in court. every policy they come up with, we beat them in court, but they don't care. they ignore judges' orders all the time. they lose the case, okay, i lost that case, i'm not going. they're coming anyways.
6:43 pm
they're going to keep going, because they don't seem anybody coming home. we've had a couple million people released into the united states under joe biden. more than 2.5 million. nobody's going home. secretary mayorkas said those that don't qualify for asylum will be immediately deported. they're not looking for them. immigration court data says nearly 9 out of 10 people who claim asylum don't get relief, because they don't qualify or show up in court. how many have been deported? that number is close to zero, because the secretary has said, being in the country illegally is not enough for i.c.e. to make an arrest. in a year and seven months i really truly believe president trump will be in the white house, i'll be back with him, and these people won't have a safe harbor. we'll find them and deport.
6:44 pm
there has to be consequences. if the judge's order isn't executed, they'll keep coming. we have to hold them responsible. >> clearly waiting until a certain point when is this, like, almost irreversible is unacceptable. you know, we've got a dynamic here, especially with children, the lives that are lost in this process, you know, we get peoply have to care about someone is able to stay in the united states. one report of 85,000 unaccounted for migrant children lost in the system, as though the united states has become a trafficker of children. this is on all of us, morally, spiritually, what's happening to these children that we've lost touch with? do you think this is -- americans clearly are horrified. that's a reason why this has to stop sooner than later. >> every single border patrol
6:45 pm
agent is fed up with this administration. we are all upset that everything that they do is nothing more than creating bad policy that's allowing these people to come in. when you look at these children, take them into custody, we know what's going to happen to them, that they'll be put into foster care homes that don't care about these children. it's based on this administration's policies. i met with the transition team when president biden was installed in office. i have met with them. i told them exactly what was going to happen. i've spoken with secretary mayorkas on multiple occasions, telling him what would happen. for them to say they weren't aware of this, we specifically told them that if you're going to get rid of trump's policies, you're going to have to replace them with policies that are similar. >> yeah. >> we told them that trump solved this problem. we told them that -- we walked them through every single process and ignored everything
6:46 pm
that president trump was able to do to secure the border. >> brandon, thank you. and tom. >> we need to solve the problem tomorrow. >> we already solved it, we agree with you, and this is great for the american people to know, this can't continue. thank you. coming up, by the way, sean, spoke to the former president, president trump, about his new book. we've got that coming up with you next. stay tuned.
