6:00 pm
for joining the program with this breaking news. i thank you so much for joining me and all the breaking news. tune in to sean hannity who is standing by. i am sure he is going to be covering this breaking news on this great program,. >> sean: by the way, welcome back. we have our audience show, we welcome them to the program. opening monolog in a moment. fox news alert, illegal immigrant who murdered five after being deported from this country five times. thankfully, finally has been taken into custody. we are going to bring you police presser from cleveland, texas as it happens tonight. this comes add biden's border crisis is completely spiraling out of control. thousands upon thousands of soon to be illegal immigrants are now amassing at our southern border once again
6:01 pm
and in ten days title 42 will end. that is the covid era provision that allowed immigration officials to deport illegal immigrants but soon be over and the word is out. and now hundreds of thousands if not millions more of illegal immigrants are expected to pour into this country in the coming months. but let not your heart be troubled because in all of this infinity wisdom, president joey is sending 1500 troops to the border to help out. joining us now live with the full report on this breaking news, griff jenkins is with this us, this manhunt has gone on for days, five people innocent people murdered, thank god they found him, griff. >> yeah, that's right. good evening, sean. i broke that news after getting multiple border they had taken francisco oropeza
6:02 pm
into the cleveland area without incident. these are the special operations operators of the border patrol. and they saved the day, sean and let us not forget it was vortex guys that saved the day at uvalde. in a shootout with escapees from that prison that saved the day there. vortex unit, a border patrol heros that brought this into country, we'll find out exactly what happened. but the good news is that even though border policies in place did not stop him from coming back into this country at least four or five times. it was border patrol elite agent that were able to bring this to a close without anyone else having to get injured or killed. that is certainly good news tonight if i can turn the corner though. let me show you some images because here in brownsville, camp monument is ground zero, sean.
6:03 pm
there are some 2000 plus migrants crossing, streaming across, mostly venezuelan, 90% here in this area. we have drone footage as you can see, they're streaming across and being processed and ultimately transported out to other areas. it's gotten so bad, that the chief put out just yesterday in the last 72 hours there was more than 22000 migrants crossing illegally, that is 7400 a day. that is the record levels we saw last year yet somehow karine jean pierre. i want to put numbers on the screen. learned today, i got these numbers, if you compare this fiscal year to last year's record fiscal year, you can see on the chart we are 136,000 plus more than last year. so, her math simply doesn't add up, sean. i don't know what they are trying to do at the white house but they are not being accurate or honest
6:04 pm
about the facts. la lastly, you mentioned the 1500 troops, they are coming down here and it's welcome. logistic is a big part in any part of migrant surge because they have to transport, do administrative stuff. governor greg abbott tweeted out he is not impressed by that number. this week from governor abbott saying, biden says he will deploy 1500 troops to the border primarily to do paperwork and for only 90 days. this does nothing to stop illegal immigration. he says he deployed up to 10,000 to fill the gaps and they are simply on the river about a quarter mile behind me working 24 hours around the clock alongside texas, dps and border patrol agents trying to stop this flow which is going to, mark my words, sean, get much much worse and that may just finally break this border. sean.
6:05 pm
>> sean: mayorkis and biden, you covered this story, that is not true. over 6.5 million people illegally entering the country under joe biden because in large part he abandoned the policy that were working under donald trump. if things are bad, you know, before this point, when title 42 goes away it's going to be a lot worse. >> well, you know, we talk about it in these broad stroke numbers. if you think about the chief of the border patrol ortiz put out last week, there were 17,000 known get aways. amidst all these numbers, 17,000 plus illegally were not brought into custody. we saw them. if that is not a national security issue i don't know what is. the number we are talking about getting to on may 11ththat is agent fining prospect. they've never
6:06 pm
seen and they are terrified about the consequences that could follow. sean. >> sean: griff, thank you. you can see in that image they are setting up for a press conference. a lot more throughout the hour tonight. we will follow that press conference when that happens. think about it, fentanyl, heroin, cocaine, terrorists are coming across that southern border, the six yule assault, the rape, the murder as a result of wide open borders and of course joe biden aiding and a abetting and the law breaking, according to the press secretary, you are dramatic if you merely even ask a single question about this crisis. take a look. >> if the border is secure as the administration has said, then why would we need to send 1500 active duty u.s. troops down there? >> because we need more work, more work needs to be done, peter. >> you said yesterday when it comes to illegal migration, you
6:07 pm
have seen it come down by more than 90%. where did that number come from? you keep telling us -- >> i hear you, i'm about to answer, if you -- if the dramatics have come down a little bit. >> what's dramatic about asking a question about -- >> okay. i am going to answer. so, i was speaking to the parolee program to deal with certain countries on ways that we can limit illegal migration and we have seen the data has shown it has gone down by more than 90%. that is what i was speaking to. no, we are going to go, we are going to move. go ahead. go ahead. we're moving, peter, let's go. >> sean: fox news white house correspondent peter doocy, great job, peter. now, so, kamala harris she actually said in 2018 when donald trump was president
6:08 pm
that it was cruel and not kind to send troops down to the border. more importantly the way that they are treating the press in that white house press room is very different than when donald trump was president. there was a question asked for example about joe biden and him not recognizing his own granddaughter. you asked your question, you were shut down, you didn't get a chance for a follow-up. what is going on in that room every day? is. >> well we don't know. she didn't say that i was being dramatic. maybe she meant that the material is dramatic and she would be right. anytime that a commander in chief has to send u.s. troops to do anything, even though in this case they are telling us that most of the work is going to be administrative, that is a dramatic development in a story. we have been told for more than two years now that the president's immigration plan and his policies have been working. sending 1500 u.s. troops who will be armed for
6:09 pm
self-defense, not for law enforcement but they will be armed on a 90-day employment. they are going to be away from their families for 90 days. in situations that require weapons for self-defense, that is a dramatic development. and this white house we know that they are sensitive to the topic of immigration because for about two years they explained why president biden hadn't gone to the border for the first 80 years of his life then they sent him, he went, they came back, he is listening, he says to the advice that he is getting from the folks that are most involved with border security, and the advice that they got was that he got was to send inactive duty troops, these are not national guard troops, these are active duty troops, depending on insisting this is not going to effect readiness, they are preparing for something big,
6:10 pm
these troops are going to start arriving next wednesday on may 10th, the day before may 11th and title 42 ending. and you mentioned it, there was the first question today about hunter biden in the briefing room, somebody asked why the president does not acknowledge his granddaughter down in arkansas. we -- we heard him talking the other day, take your child to workday, how he talked to his six grandkids every day. but there is a 7th grandkid and to the best of our knowledge we do not think that they have ever met. and it doesn't seem like that's something that is going to happen anytime soon. when karine jean-pierre she said she is not going to address it. >> they had six stockings for the six grandchildren, a stocking for the dog, not one for this innocent little child. let me play, if you don't mind,
6:11 pm
peter. this is kamala harris talking about troops they border when donald trump was president. this is from 2018. >> i believe that it is inappropriate to require the limited resources of the united states military to be used in such a way all because there needed to be some demonstration for the tv cameras based on a political agenda. >> sean: peter your reaction to that, i'm certain that will be a question tomorrow in the briefing room. >> well, that was 2018. then in 2019 i remember i was standing next to then senate why are harris while she was running for president, the first debate in miami when she attacked president biden, how far we've come now. but she was standing on a step ladder waving to the children who were being detained in one of those private facilities that had been set up. talking about how inhumane how
6:12 pm
the system was. they claim that sending all these troops is a way to preserve this more humane system. and we will see exactly what happens because we don't know a ton about what kind of planning has been done for this. we know that they have had troops go down to the border dating back to the george w bush administration every now and then. but things are different now with title 42 ending and we know that because like griff was just talking about, every set of data that we get is a new record of people coming in illegally. and they are -- it does appear they are amassing on other side of the border, either trying to get in before title 42 or figure out how to come in around where the u.s. military is going to be helping out, sean. >> sean: at the white house tonight. more on the illegal immigrant mass shooter taken
6:13 pm
into custody, ted william is back with us. thank you, what's so frustrating, i was beginning to get very concerned this guy probably went back to mexico and that meant that the likelihood we would ever get him would be very low, i'm glad that didn't happen. but the problem here, ted, is that this guy was deported on five separate occasions. that means our border is that wide open. when you're talking about as of now since joe biden being president 6.5 million illegal immigrants have entered this country and it's about to get dramatically worse with the end of title 42. they are not prepared for what's about to come. and all of it was under control when donald trump was president. >> well, sean, i gotta tell you, you are absolutely right. we are here on the scene where the
6:14 pm
state, local unified earl officials are going to hold a press conference to announce the capture of francisco oropeza. oropeza is the suspect, his neighbors. sean you said something that shocks the conscience, this man had been deported at last on five different occasions. the last occasion was in 2016. and here from 2016 to the current time period, he's been here living in the united states or and no one has done anything about him. and it was on friday night that he was shooting a gun in his yard that his neighbor came over and asked him to stop shooting because they had a baby in the house. he then left his home, went next door to his neighbor's house. shot his neighbor's five
6:15 pm
people in that roam. and then took off and he has been on the run. one of the things that you have said that i'm lated about is that they've captured him and captured him in the united states. because if he would have made it to mexico, let's say, and he would have been over there and they wanted to charge him let's say in texas with capital murder of these five individuals, mexico would not have extradited him back to this country. so, this illegal alien is now off the street from what we've been told, we are waiting for the press conference. >> sean: that's how porus. five innocent people dead and at least he is in custody. we expect that press conference any minute now, when that happens we will bring that to you. we'll come back to you throughout the hour, thank you. joins us with reaction a host of the right
6:16 pm
view podcast. lara trump is in studio with us. thank you for being here. you know, we can compare and we can contrast. your father-in-law had policies that were working. he built 500 miles of wall. he had stay in mexico policy. we did not have 6.5 million people come into this country illegally during his team. he reduced it to record level lows which tells me this is all preventible. >> yeah. >> sean: if we had the right policies. >> i think that is the major frustration for the american people, you hear about this individual who obviously was here illegally, deported five times, shocking that that thing could happen. looking at the show coming up. women are sexually assaulted. we know that the drug cartels are making more money on human trafficking than they are on the drugs, talk about the drugs, the fentanyl
6:17 pm
crisis, basically unacknowledged by the biden administration right now. it is absolutely terrible. we need dump back without a doubt to secure our border, to give us our standing on the world stage again. to give us energy independent again. to get our economy back. but if you don't have a border, you don't have a country. and it is absolutely insulting. >> sean: you know who said that, ronald reagan. >> it's assaulting that this continues to happen, 6.5 million, think about probably the number is much higher than that. >> we know that they got 170 people on the terrorist watch list, how many people on that list were able to get through that have built out terror cells right here in the u.s. what are they plotting? what are they planning, what are they scheming? we imagine tensions are not good. >> all you need is one person with bad intentions to come over
6:18 pm
that southern border. kamala harris where is she? why are they not doing anything about this? >> sean: she went down there once but didn't go to any area that mattered. i've been on all-terrain vehicles. the horseback was not a good moment in my life. i've been out there on foot, a gang member arrested on foot. i was there on boats and helicopters, i've done it all. all the way from rio grand to san diego. you can see, i went to a drug warehouse, laura, if you ever saw this the biggest warehouse, floor to keeling, drugs, you could probably get high off of it if you stay enough. fentanyl, opioids, crack cocaine. and all the other drugs that are killing people, our kids. >> the youth of our country is
6:19 pm
being used by fentanyl, all you have to do by the way is endorse the law, have you joe biden sending 1500 military personnel down there. do you remember what donald trump did? he had mexico actually send their own military to the border to prevent people from coming over, that is how you do business, you get them to stop it as well, it should not be on us, god bliss those men and women if you are going to go down there. >> sean: you said something true, we know how to control the border. we know how to be energy independent. we had it. your gather in law created that for the first time in 75 years. we wouldn't be importing oil from venezuela right now. if you look at other issues, law and order, safety and security, put towards the pursuit of happiness. look at this new what i call axis of
6:20 pm
eagle, china russia, saudi arabia, uae and egypt aligning with putin. you have china negotiating with the deals, that they obviously want to be the world's dominant power, they don't want our dollar to be the world's currency. and you can see it all happening, a lot has happened in a little over two years. >> it is shocking, somehow hocking the leadership, because at this point what we see happening to america, i don't know that we can sustain for another two years to be honest with you. i think we need a change in leadership, we need is quickly, we need to regain our footing on the world stage. no doubt about that. one reason when jump is in office because people respected him it's peace
6:21 pm
through strength. >> sean: people ask me all the time why do you think putin didn't move on ukraine during trump's presidency? i do believe that they feared him, it was a healthy fear that he meant what he said. i mean, he wiped out the caliphate in record time. took out solenani. i thik that kept china in check, russia in check, it seems the only thing the bidens get are checks from russia, ukraine. if this was eric trump, your husband or donald trump junior or baron trump or ivanka trump, what would the reaction be in the media. >> whether you are a republican, even dogs and cats now, it would be a different situation if the last name were trump. the crazy
6:22 pm
thing is we all have known this is happening just as we know the hunter biden laptop story was moan. the biden family have been enriching themselves due to joe biden's position in government, the e-mails we saw today, they said we don't want to meet with him on a personal basis. but an official representative in the united states. it should be an alarm bell that guess off to people, it is a threat to our national security to see what is happening. >> sean: great to have you back in new york, i now know you are in florida as a resident. we go back to texas for our own chris jenkins, he has the latest, how long do we expect until this presser? >> well, sean, we are waiting and i guess they are trying to get their ducks in line before they put out the public
6:23 pm
statement. people are excited to get this news, they want all the details. but already we are starting to see on social media some videos, it appears in what we are seeing from our fox affiliates in houston that they really did take this guy, cuffs on, into custody without incident, you see the bar tech agent and people just joining us, this is the border patrol special elite unit, headquartered out of el paso, they are from all the different sectors, perhaps some will be from the rgb. perhaps sum from the del rio effort, where they found this guy, and they took him without incident. that is the good news once it starts, hopefully we'll get details on how they found them. talking to you earlier, we are in brownsville, sean, if you were in the cleveland, texas area,
6:24 pm
you were from mexico, you likely would have come straight down here, it's five hours due south from he was taken into custody to where we are. and so the agents here while dealing with the unprecedented numbers literally coming across that river from morris. they've been on alert trying to see to make sure there was someone trying to get back across. once we get details hopefully we'll learn about how they zeroed in on them. one of the interesting things we can learn, i was interviewing texas dps, he told me they've found his cell phone in the bushes but obviously didn't have the suspect into custody. and that concerned him, sean, cell phones are a major way that law enforcement get people into custody because they can ping the phone and locate them and bring them into custody. they lost a really important clue and cleared he fled, he was hiding not too far
6:25 pm
before he committed those atrocious murders. >> sean: we are expecting that conference anytime now. tonight in texas, we go to fox news contributors lee i don't 2.0 and tommy laren, ice director tom holman. tom, let me start with you, this is your wheel house. if you wanted to close the border, secure the border we know how to do it. obviously joe biden chose a different policy. what scared me the days i'm here and five innocent people killed including an 8 year old, this guy probably went back to mexico. but what should shock the conscience of every american, be deported and come back not once, not twice, not three times, not four times but five times. that only happens if you have wide open borders. >> absolutely right. this would
6:26 pm
not happen under trump administration. this guy was a fugitive, right? he entered the country illegally after being deported five times which means five felonies. he has several dui convictions, being a fugitive and -- being dui conviction he would have been priority. ice would have been looking for him, arresting him and putting him in prison for violation of the reentry act which is a felony. under the bide biden administration, he put 85% of the criminals that the deported him, this administration took him off the table. 8% 5% of they can no longer arrest. didn't have to die. now he's an ice priority. too little, too late. the vortex unit. the tactical unit that
6:27 pm
took the shooter out in the uvalde school. god bless and women the border patrol. this white house podium, heros of the day so god bless men and women in green. >> sean: very well said. let me bring in leo 2.0 terrell who is an attorney. correct me if i'm wrong, joe biden as president took an oath to uphold the constitution that means to uphold the laws of this country whose foun foundation is that constitution. tell me my analysis not only did not joe biden not uphold his oath of office but aiding and abetting breaking by allowing these people into this country illegally, facilitating it and offering, let's see, free phones in some cases, free transportation to whatever state they were going to send them to.
6:28 pm
again, preferential treatment because they didn't have to have a covid test or a covid vaccine in the middle of a pandemic and don't forget they dumped kids in cages, if it weren't for the like the of senator cruz from texas, we wouldn't have gotten images of those kids, in cages over crowded that joe biden built. >> you just drafted the first article of impeachment for joe biden. you have just written the first article of impeachment because he should be i am peeved. basically this administration has blood on its hand, if there was ever a case for donald trump to be president is the southern border. we had a secure border under president trump and that's what is missing. and i will tell you right now, besides what's going on he has basically opened the door to the drug cartel. sex
6:29 pm
trafficking, the fentanyl, joe biden has basically breeched and abandoned his obligation as president in protecting this country from foreign enemies. >> sean: leo i got a question, if you were my attorney and i was arrested because i went down to the border and i picked somebody up and drove to california, new york or any other state. would i be arrested for human trafficking and be convicted even if you the great attorney you are for representing me? >> absolutely. there is a lot of accessories to human trafficking. people in this country aiding and abetting. they will be convicted no matter how good of a lawyer, i am going to lose those cases. >> sean: tomi, on issue of the border and illegal immigration, it was under control under
6:30 pm
president trump. you see what's happening now, we're at nearly 6.5 million illegal immigrant that we know of that have come into the country under joe biden. we know how to fix it, he doesn't want to fix it. obviously he wants his policies to continue. >> they won't recognize what's happening as a crisis because the democrats do not see this as a crisis. they see it as an opportunity. it is in fact a crisis, when they want more voters into this country, do that by any means possible, they are planning on giving these people amnesty and voting rights will come along with it. democrats play the long game. let's talk about this illegal immigrant, fugitive, murderer who executed his neighbors, in sanctuary cities and states, local law enforcement would not be able to in sanctuary cities and states around the country. these are criminal illegal
6:31 pm
aliens on loose not just by joe biden but gavin newsom, the other cities and state that passed similar laws, this is by design, this is a dereliction of duty putting americans in harm's way on purpose. and this absolutely should be an impeachable defense. >> sean: the new york city mayor, eric adams, i thought new york city was supposed to be a sanctuary cities targeting black mayors. he doubled down on that accusation about abbott. with these buses full of migrants. now in total we have about 15,000 illegal immigrants that came to new york city, now the question is, if it's a sanctuary city and state, my question is i would think they would have their arms wide open and say welcome to our city. apparently
6:32 pm
they are calling the governor of texas racist for making that suggestion. >> i am so offended by this ultimate race card. he is using a race card to deflect from his incompetent. he is an absolutely horrific mayor, la and chicago, why do you think these people are leaving? these are horrible democratic mayors who talk a game of sanctuary cities but don't want the burden. look at washington d.c., eric adams, look at joe biden, kamala harris and that in competence white house press secretary who lies all the time about the number of the reduction in immigration. you have to get the those surround reals out of office and put donald trump back in office. >> sean: i will give you a crack at that as well. mayor adams basically spreading lies here. he knows full well these illegal immigrants willingly chose to
6:33 pm
come to his city. if anybody who is racist is him, supposedly he has open arms or open border policy but now that they end up in his city he's angry that he is here. >> so elections have conferences. the good people -- >> sean: come over to my house for dinner and then saying no get out of here. >> exactly what it is. elections has consequences. the good people of texas did not vote for an open border. people in blue democrat run cities and states they did vote for this. so, i say we should enrich their communities and show them what they are voted for, if they are not near a border city or state, maybe they will understand the danger. it has nothing to do with the race of mayors, it's leadership that knows no no skin color. it's about the leadership. you want to see what the border is doing, the american cities and states you should see it up close and
6:34 pm
personal. >> sean: by the way we are anticipating a press conference, police down in texas have now arrested the suspect in the shooting of these five individuals that took place down in texas. the suspect's name is francisco oropeza is his name. we go back to ted williams who is with us on the scene down there. i know you have been in touch with law enforcement, any fear he might have escaped back to mexico? >> absolutely, sean. it was feared he may very well have escaped back to mexico. if we go back to friday night when oropeza killed a suspect in the murder of these five individuals in that home, we need to think about the fact that these were head shots. this wasn't someone with a semiautomatic weapon and just did a spray shooting. he
6:35 pm
actually aimed at these individuals' heads. he executed them. so the question that begs for an answer, was this man a professional killer. he must have had not only some association with guns but the manner to take a life i would have to believe of the and that is significant in this investigation. there are so many unanswered questions. why in the hell was this man in this country illegally since 2016 and nobody did a dam thing to get him out of here? five adults, one child among them was killed. this is very very troubling. and i think we really really now have to pay some attention to what goes on on our borders. this is the only time that this
6:36 pm
man would have wanted to get out of the country. to get away from the authorities. remember, five times, sean. this man came into this country. back, forth. deported, back forth again, deported. back again deported. back again, deported. this should not happen in america. >> sean: that is total complete lawlessness and at the highest level, because we are talking about the president of this great country allowing this to happen. now let me get your take, biden has approved sending 1500 u.s. troops to the border as title 42 as the deadline now approaches. how bad will it get with title 42 gone? is because that gave them an out to send some people home. they still let 6.5 million people in. >> i gotta tell you i think it's going to be unfortunately
6:37 pm
terribly worse than with title 42 in place because you have individuals that are on the borders right now, wanting to come to this country and there is going to be a bull rush. and i don't even think that the amount of law enforcement officers as well as military individuals that they are going to send down to the borders are going to be enough. our borders are stretched. something should have been done before now. i think our congress should have acted also, sean, there is culpability all around not only with this administration but with congress not acting to secure our borders. the one thing we as americans want to feel is to be secure, secure in our homes. and i can tell you being here in texas and
6:38 pm
cleveland texas, people felt very very insecure. >> sean: can you blame them? i certainly can't. ted williams on the scene down in texas tonight still awaiting the press conference, we will bring that to you in real time when it happens. let's invite into the program, governor mike huckabee, joe concha onset, big breaking news the illegal immigrant texas mass shooter is in custody. law enforcement officials will be giving details. joe, i want to look at this from the media angle. all the liberal networks want to ignore the fact that this involved an illegal immigrant that had left the country, had been deported five times, came back five times. he killed five innocent people in cold blood including an 8 year old child. they wanted to focus more on the making this a gun issue, you have been watching the coverage, why do they want
6:39 pm
to completely ignore what is the law of the land? joe biden may not agree with the law but he is the president, the bully pulpit of the presidency, he can make the case, try and change laws but he doesn't get to pick and choose which laws he wants to enforce or not enforce. >> precisely. let's say you made the suspect a white texan guy who lives here in the country and he happened to wear a red hat and carried out this execution including of a -- i have a 7 and 9 year old, you have met them. this kind of got brushed under the carpet, right i looked at the two network that are cable news networks. >> sean: fake news. >> yes, that's a firm, certainly. they are not talking about this. this should be a breaking story, this network on your show, we've blown out all commercials, they are not talking about it even. >> sean: is it because of the
6:40 pm
illegal immigrant aspect and they want open borders and they have turned a blind eye to 6.5 million people entering our country illegally. now, i'm not against immigration, i don't care where people come from, i would like a background check to make sure they don't have mad i call associations. i would like people to show that they are able to take care of themselves financially and won't be a burden on the american taxpayer because we can't afford it. anyone here thinks that's unreasonable. >> pragmatic. and we've seen this movie before, kate steinle, san francisco, young woman, gets shot by an illegal migrant to this country deported how many times? five times also. so, these things do not have to happen. and you talked before about this but it bears repeating, 182 people had been arrested who are on the fbi terror watch list coming into this country, those are the ones
6:41 pm
we know about. remember what happened after 9/11 we kept going through this process how do we not connect the dots and stop this. the dots are right here, one or two carry about it, forget it. 6.5 million people, nine times the population of washington d.c. or denver colorado, or boston, massachusetts. nine washing considering the magnitude of the influx of illegal immigrant the and people that got aways as we call them, no doubt in my mind that there are terror cells in this country because of joe biden's wide open border policy, one day all of us will wake up to something that is horrible that was unexpected because terror cells are noting, they are planning, they are screaming these attacks against us and all happened in large part because of open borders. great to see you, your take on all of this, sir. >> i just think i want to quota
6:42 pm
very effective political figure donald trump who said we simply cannot allow people to pour into the united states undetected, undocumented, unchecked and circumventing the line of people who are waiting patiently, diligently and lawfully to become immigrants in this country. i think so democrats would agree with that statement. that was break obama who said that, i wish some of the democrats talking about maga republicans, including an 8 year old for god's sake was no maga republican. this is not something that happened because of maga republicans. it happened because of a president who doesn't care what's happening at the border and that president is joe biden. i wish he would have listened to the man he worked for barack obama. >> sean: may i remind you on day
6:43 pm
1 joe biden executive order on immigration ended any border wall construction, it.toed, donald trump impressive migration enforcement. it forced local governments to include illegals in the census if you recall, it sended up the passport restriction from violent countries that had muslim extremists and a fortified daca, that was day 1. this is the plan from day 1. this was the executive order from day 1. >> well, it was and i just hope that aoc will hurry to the border so she can weep and talk about how terrible it is. i hope joe biden will have a news conference and maybe fly down and talk to that murdered family's relatives or invite them to the white house. >> sean: east palestine, governor. >> it's an embarrassing thing and my heart goes out to these innocent people who simply wanted a nice peaceful evening for their child. and for that, a
6:44 pm
person who kept violating the law the of this country, we are going after people who walked into the capital using all those resources instead of arresting people who did this kind of evil crime near our nation's border. >> sean: we appreciate you being with us. i want to rerack what we just showed you there on the screen. francisco oropeza being arrested. this is video we just got out. great job bylaw enforcement on their part. governor stay with us, we are going to get back to you as well. joining to react, former acting ice director ron vitello. go back to day one, i read you the executive order, every policy that donald trump was overturned on day 1. he didn't wait until day 2, it was day 1. >> yeah, you're absolutely
6:45 pm
right. thanks for having me on, sean. they took down the migrant protection protocols, a consequence for people who came to the users, we know many of them did not. he ripped down that program and not only ended the program so people had to wait in mexico to have their hearing, he left 600 people in that program, he left them in the united states, he sent a signal, they had no serious attempt to control this border. you mentioned it. he put a moratorium on removes and deportations, some of the people ordered by a judge via due process, ordered removed and he wanted a moratorium on them being sent out of the country. states like texas and florida suing him, put that genie back in the bottle is worse. you were
6:46 pm
right to praise the long enforcement on the ground in cleveland to find this guy and hopefully take him into justice. the border has never been as bad only because of the choices that this administration made for what is going on the line now. >> sean: phil concha, you are reporting the media there is a plaqueout going on on a story like this. if it's a school shooting, a moment that a democrat can politicize they go full forward. for example, all the murders that take place in chicago, we've scrolled those names since 2009. if we names you will never hear about because they can't make it political. but if it's a case they can blame republicans or ultra maga republican. they go full force, you would think they would be concerned about the fentanyl deaths, overdosing, the heroin, child trafficking, sex
6:47 pm
trafficking, the death here, this guy got back into the country five times. what is wrong with these people, are they that agenda driven? >> it's about gun control whenever a shooting happens, that breaks all of our hearts, obviously. we should be talking about border patrol, correct? jude when you look at his words from just a couple years ago when he was running for president since 2008, he bragged about being the democrat out there who is enhanced border security, enhanced walls and enforce our laws in the books. >> sean: doesn't remember his name. >> you talk about fentanyl, terror sells coming in. it's the leading cause of death for those between 18 and 49. i would think that a president who has a son, and drug addiction and overdosing that he would care about this problem a little
6:48 pm
bitsy sean that is such a great joint. back to you, governor huckabee i want to get your take on that. human trafficking, drug trafficking, sex trafficking, the amount of drugs killing our kids all over the country. >> 100,000 americans are dying not just in south texas, they are dying in ohio, maine, and michigan, they are dying in massachusetts and arkansas, they are dying across the country. drugs that may have started across the border, but that's not where the crime and the devastation of people's lives stop. but when is the american people, when will they rise up, say they've had enough, and start voting some of these people out of office. we can complain all day, it's up to the voters to say that's it, that's enough. we want these people out of here and want people to enforce those laws equally and
6:49 pm
justly against early voting, voting by mail and they getter start matching the efforts, the lyle ballot harvesting efforts of the democratic party and they better do it soon, or else they will not be ready for 2024. right now democrats they don't shake hands, they don't kiss babies, they don't do press eval the, town hall the, they run negative ads and do winning with that strategy, we better catch up. governor, thank you. joe concha good to see you. griff jenkins is on the ground there, griff, what's the latest? >> well, sean, i'm getting some more information on how this went down. now, when we look at that video from the fox eastern affiliate to put it down on social media. you can see francisco oropeza, commitments
6:50 pm
that atrocious crime, he was brought into custody at 1837 hours, that's about 6:37 in conroe, texas, about 30 miles or so west of cleveland where that horrific murder took place. i'm reading from my intel and learning that just after 6:30, the resident, we dough don't know who the residents at that where he was hiding out. vortex unit tech, the border patrol were giving consent to search residents. without incident. no shots fired, no altercation. and then they turn oropeza. those are details i'm able to get from our sources but we'll much more when this press conference goes down, what is really significant about this is that they were able to do it without incident.
6:51 pm
>> sean: if oropeza was in california, a san francisco sanctuary city, they would not be allowed to cooperate with ice and law enforcement and hand this guy over, at least if they followed the usual policy, think about that. >> that's a great point, sean. so, your audience understands how this played out. so, the were supporting texas dps and law enforcement who were trying not to give him any shelter or bring them into custody. it was i believe, we'll find out in this press conference, it's not confirmed, we'll find out, it was a tip that came in to law enforcement and the vortex unit tech, guys went out to this he dent, just after 6:30 p.m., local time to go into the resident the and that's where
6:52 pm
they got them. no sanctuary for oropeza, will spend a lot of time behind bars, that is good news this evening. >> sean: griff, thank you. the suspected illegal immigrant mass shooter on the loose in texas, thank god is finally in custody here with more fox news contributor ted williams, he is on the ground in texas tonight. ted, let's get back to the latest e ex i now i'm told it may begin at the top of the hour, is that true? >> yeah, the press conference from what we've been told has been moved back and it may very well -- top of the hour here. sean, something that needs to be shouted out is the good work that law enforcement did and bringing this man to justice. you had state, local and federal law enforcement officers looking and scouring the bushes here for
6:53 pm
this man. i was out around 11:00, 12:00 last night, in the area in which these killings took place and you saw law enforcement officers out there. and one of the things that significant is what griff jenkins just reported, you had an elite community of the border patrol that was able to assist law enforcement officers. these are men and women that we need to take our hats off for because they are out there serving and protecting us every day. >> i think that's extremely well said. by the way, putting their lives at risk, but also i've seen many many examples of great compassion on their part, helping people out. joining us is the at this attorney general ken paxton. incredible john down instead, i know you are proud of them. this was a long manhunt.
6:54 pm
this was an assassination basically, point blank range. very scary. this is something texas has been dealing with for a long time, burying the pursuant of this and asking for help, you have been denied help as a state. and when you move some of the illegal immigrants from your state to "sanctuary" city and states you are accused of being racist, you can't make that up. >> i have been predicting this a long time. this is going to happen more north. the biden administration is working with the cartels to bring them here and take them and transport them around. and i would expect unfortunately because of the biden administration lack of ability or no desire to enforce federal law and their constitutional role, we are going to see more of this and that is a sad statement of where we are headed. >> sean: let's talk about how bad it's got at the. we are seeing images of thousands and
6:55 pm
thousands of illegal immigrants that have crossed the border or waiting to cross the border. now with the -- you know, we now have the expectation of title 42's deadline is looming, we expect many more millions. since joe biden has been president, the estimate is about 6.5 million illegal immigrants that have entered this country. elimination of title 42, doesn't that take away some of the reason that they had or some of the strength and the argument that they had toll not allow people into the country? what is going to happen? a 1500 troops enough to stone what is expected to be the biggest surge we have ever seen in history? >> no, as the surge is going to get worse. they mailed remain in mexico, they continue catch and release, all of the things trump did, this was the final dismantling. the numbers are 300% more than they were under trump. the numbers are
6:56 pm
significantly more than what it is now. so, we are's expecting the worse influx of illegal immigrant we've seen in this country. we are already there, it's getting worse. >> sean: let's say i drive a pickup truck down to the border or let's say an 18-wheeler down to the border. and i pick up a load of illegals and i bring them oh, i don't know to california, new york, whatever site i take them, to. would you arrest me, would i be prosecuted for trafficking, human trafficking? >> absolutely. if you violated state law, we can arrest you, we can try you under state law and we will do it for you here. in some states, california and some other democratic states but yes, here we will prosecute you if we can prosecute from violating state law, most violations are federal and we have to turn them
6:57 pm
back of the feds. >> sean: isn't that exactly what joe biden and his administration is doing? >> yeah, i mean, that's exactly what they are doing. they are inviting these people in and letting them violation all kinds of laws and very little we can do, remember they are not trying to run border patrol we might be able to arrest him fortress pass or something else. if they go to border patrol, nothing they can do when transporting them to other states. >> sean: mr. attorney general, ken paxton. more on the illegal immigrant mass shooter in texas, contributor tomilahren. what are people you work with or for during your time, what have been they saying to you about how frustrated they have to be.
6:58 pm
>> okay. the only thing that keeps me going is that a year and a half, president trump is going to be back in the white house border will be secure in 90 days. 6,000,000 people that crossed. illegally, the biden 990% removed, they won't leave. let me tell you them 6,000,000 people. don't get too comfortable. after we secure the border in 90 days, we are going to look for you, arrest you, remove you, make sure you're in court. >> sean: let me go back to tomi, we are heading into this election season, we see wide
6:59 pm
open borders, a 40 year record high of inflation. china and russia, we see even our own allies abandoning us, what extent will all of these issues combine play in the 2024 election? less than a minute. >> well if republicans do it well they should all play a role. i will tell you this, why is it that former president donald j trump, only president that made americans care about our border? he said build the wall, he made that >> he made that a main pillar of his election in 2016. the american people need to realize that the open border has confidences. they have to make the border an issue. it shouldn't just be donald trump. that goes back to republicans in congress as well. don't forget, they sat there for two years under a trump
7:00 pm
presidency and did nothing while donald trump fought to secure our border. >> thank you. we're awaiting press conference from cleveland, texas. moments ago, the illegal immigrant accused of murdering five innocent people is taken into custody. stay with the fox news channel for coverage. laura is next. >> laura: i'm laura ingraham. this is "the ingraham angle." starting with the fox news alert. illegal immigrant killing five was taken into custody. francisco oropesa was taken into custody. you're watching video of the arrest that occurred 25 miles waste from where these murders occurred. any minute, authorities will walk up to that podium and provide more details. we're going to go live to texas
7:01 pm
