6:00 pm
i'm praying extra hard. jimmy failla, catch his show. the man is funny. have a great evening. take your horse for a ride. jimmy, thanks, brother. kellyanne conway is in for sean. it's been a great week. see you next week. >> kelly anne: welcome to this special edition of "hannity." i'm kellyanne conway in for sean. the biden white house is very worried that the president's adult son is going rogue. despite numerous assurances that the administration has no role in hunter biden's legal affairs, axios has reported that hunter clashed with top white house aides over his defense strategy.
6:01 pm
apparently they want hunter who is facing three active investigations to stay quiet and not bring any more attention to the big guy, even as hunter faces a looming indictment. joining us now with if very latest, our own kevin corke. kevin? >> kellyanne, great to be with you. as you can imagine, this is a major headache for the white house. apparently hunter biden is, according to some, going rogue. in effect, what he's said to be doing is though the fact that he's facing numerous investigations, apparently he's clashing with the white house over his legal defense. now, as you pointed out, he's facing investigations into possible tax fraud and illegal firearm purchase, business corruption and a child support case in arkansas. tonight according to axios, hunter has clashed with top aides to his father, the president, over that new legal strategy. leading hunter has been said to hire a new lawyer for a more
6:02 pm
combative approach. parentally he did so without consulting his father's legal advisers. a top department of justice spokesperson said the younger biden is going rogue and perhaps pushing past the guardrails that the president's advisers would have him follow. that could be a headache for the white house. hunter's legal team has said to be weighing the possibility hoff setting up a legal defense fund to help defray legal bills, that according to a person familiar with the matter. however, a key hurdle is whether they can create a fund with just enough guardrails to protect against even more ethical conflicts for the biden family. a problem that seems to be recurring. kellyanne? >> kelly anne: thanks, kevin. while some in the biden white house are calling outrage, no one seems bothered by the bogus letter that 51 intel officials signed in the fall of 2020
6:03 pm
falsely discrediting the hunter biden laptop story. maybe that's because the biden campaign it turns out orchestrated the letter with the help of mike morrel. according to new reports, in an e-mail, he told another ex-cia chief, john brennan, that the purpose of the letter was to help joe biden in the upcoming debate, help him with a talking point. meanwhile, earlier this week, a shocking new claim from a whistle-blower against the big guy, joe biden, himself. here's oversight committee james comer. >> we take our whistle-blowers very seriously. there's been two very credible whistle-blowers come forward. we're doing everything we can to protect these whistle-blowers and to try to encourage more whistle-blowers to come forward. we have credible evidence and we want to know exactly what the fbi did to verify this.
6:04 pm
>> talk about a foreign national. do you know a country this foreign national is from, a. and b, talk about the exchange of money for policy decisions. do you know how much money and what the policy decisions were? >> i know the country and i know the policy decision. i'm not at liberty to say right now. >> kelly anne: so as the joe and hunter biden scandal deepens and widens, what should we make of the new allegations? joining us now to answer the questions and more, fox news contributor and george washington university law professor, jonathan turley. professor turley, welcome to the show. i feel like there's a lot of news around hunter biden in particular this week and of course this is a hunter biden and joe biden as i call it scandal. walk us through what struck you. what should we be looking for? >> well, you know, this is a city that floats on leaks. there's a lot of things that come over the transom.
6:05 pm
so you often have to make sort of a gut check on how much credibility and weight to give something. on that scale the types of stories i give the most weight to are the ones from whistle-blowers directly to congress. the reason is that those are individuals that know that they can be criminally charged for lying to investigators. so this isn't just something coming over the transom to "the washington post." it's not some anonymous source that a reporter is citing. it's someone who has met with investigators, the subject of the penalty. you have to take it seriously. there's a sharp disconnect. we had a whistle-blower in the first trump impeachment. the media went full board in to this story. they're having more skepticism here. we have to learn the details. one of the reasons, kellyanne, this is so serious because of what we know already. the biden family has been known
6:06 pm
for influence pedals for years. influence pedalling is a cottage industry of washington as you know. but the bidens really set a new standard in terms of how much money is being traced to family members. >> kelly anne: there's no question about that. chairman comer is doing a fabulous job in at least keeping us all up to speed on what he can without divulging confidences. struck me, professor turley, that hunter biden hired a new lawyer and ruffled feathers at the white house. she's more aggressive than the other lawyers that were put together for hunter biden. kevin corke is reporting that the axios report makes clear, clashes and they're upset. the white house needs to re-elect an unpopular vice president. they don't need hunter biden's scandals in the way. tell us what you think of the
6:07 pm
hiring abby lowell and how this affects it moving forward. >> i know abbey. you're one of the most sophisticated political figures in the city. interesting to get your take on this. i was surprised when the post reported a meeting of a new team for hunter biden that includes people that have been supporting him financially. the whole thrust of the story was that they were going to go with a scorched earth campaign. they were going to go aggressive. what was weird about that is it had to come from those individuals. this was a leak from a relatively small number of people. they wanted witnesses to know that they were going to go after westboundses. abbey lowell issued a letter saying the irs should investigate critics of hunter biden and should be criminal investigations with witnesses. that's getting close to the line if those lawyers then reach out
6:08 pm
to witnesses with that type of heavy message. you can really sort of trip some wires with a congressional investigation in the field. >> kelly anne: professor turley, switch gears here and go back to this bomb shell e-mails that you had two former cry a chiefs colluding to provide joe biden with a talking point for a presidential debate. the last debate late october 2020 that famous line from joe biden where he says, talking about hunter biden's laptop is garbage. he quotes that 50 intel officials have said it has the markings of russian disinformation. we know that that is all wrong now. it was all lie. it struck me that i saw speaking of congressional investigations, john brennan and another are going to have to go and testify in front of congress. james clapper will have to testify in front of congress about the weaponization of the government. can you clue us in to that a
6:09 pm
little bit? people felt it was unfair but now it has some legs. >> well, it does. there's a curious thing about this letter, right? we know it's false. soon after this allegation came out, american intelligence came out with a statement that there's no evidence that there was russian disinformation or intelligence efforts here. you had these 51 experts that wanted to get this out right before the campaign. now we're learning pretty much what was presumed that this was an effort of the biden campaign to give him this talking point and earlier, as you know, morrel said the trigger was secretary of state blinken. he gave him this initial disinformation line. everyone involved says they did nothing wrong. not the organizer, morrel, not the trigger, blinken, not the
6:10 pm
media that ran with it. nobody is taking responsibility for what was just a really unbelievable political sort of trick. it sort of maybe the public look like chumps because it happened before the election and could have made a difference. >> kelly anne: professor turley, polling showing that 17% in six or seven swing key states would have changed their vote if they thought this laptop and its contents were real. these folks hit by behind intelligence and national security to provide a talking point in a debate. that e-mail makes clear. it's incredibly important. thank you so much for walking us two or three very thorny issues this week that came to a head in washington d.c. professor turley, thank you. joining us now, "new york post" reporter john la vine, pam bondi and author of "trial of the century", gregg jarrett.
6:11 pm
panel, i'd like to dive into the last port i was addressing with professor turley. john, let's started with you. the paper that was villified all because you told the truth. you told the story about hunter biden's laptop. you paid the price as did the first amendment. how does it feel today? what is the buzz at the newspaper knowing that at the highest levels ex-cia chiefs, the now secretary of state were in -- the fix was with them at the top getting a talking point for a political exercise? >> the word is vindication. we knew it was true. everything we published was true the first day. nothing to vindicate from our indiana. but the general public is aware. these e-mails are a smoking gun. it's proof that the letter that they wrote saying the laptop was russian disinformation was
6:12 pm
baloney. they knew it was a political hit job instigated by the biden campaign. and, you know, it's such a terrible violation of the public trust because, you know, you expect politicians to be political. no one will deny joe biden the right to be political. but these are people that we trust with our government and to be neutral and nonpartisan. i don't know how we come back from this. >> kelly anne: pam bondi, you're the attorney general of florida and a legal expert. i have to ask you. some of the 51 that signed on to the letter have tv contracts a other networks and three got jobs in the biden-harris administration. i'm going to surmise that some still have national security clearances. walk us through that. >> yeah, kellyanne, look at
6:13 pm
their credibility in future cases. just like you said, they have security clearance. it's unbelievable to me how they can ever be credible in any case. who will believe them again? we know the deep state. we talk about the deep state is so far left. this was collusion between the democrat party and former directors of our highest foreign intelligence agency in the country working in concert to affect not impact, not just any election but a presidential election. they didn't give biden just simple talking points. he used these loud and clear in a presidential debate citing these people that we now know gave false statements in everything in that laptop was real. >> it was an incredible moment, panel. i rewatched that clip with trump and biden and trump said this is another russian hoax.
6:14 pm
biden is angry that anybody is mentioning the laptop and hides behind this letter. gregg jarrett, you've been right about so much regarding this. i wanted to ask you about this testimony that we can expect in the coming weeks from james brennan -- john brennan and james clapper. that seems serious to this. this is not oh, you threw a presidential election by lying on behalf of joe biden. this thing is really starting to metastasize. >> james clapper lied to congress before under oath and managed to escape prosecution. what is so astonishing about this is how easy it was for mike morrel to rounds up 50 liars in tin tell community, more than happy to deceive the american community to help joe biden get elected based on a lie. they invented the false claim that the laptop was russian
6:15 pm
disinformation without a scrap of action able intelligence. no discussion. just sign your name and we'll help conceal biden corruption. so, you know, it's no surprise that the biden campaign was secretly behind, this tony blinken and the confessed purpose was to give him a talking point to use in the presidential debate. they were dumb enough, believe it or not, to put it all in writing. so these unprincipled people like brennan, clapper, panetta, they helped the biden cover up the get rich schemes with foreign adversaries with what is the selling out of america. none of them have any regrets, never apologizing. this is one of the dirtiest tricks in american politics. polling data shows 17% of biden voters would have cast their ballots differently had they known the truth. so, you know, these people deprived american voters from
6:16 pm
making an informed decision and they helped throw a presidential election. >> kelly anne: we found real election interference there. people will know this time. they didn't know last time. if people are focused on the fact of the contents of the laptop are real and i don't need the see another naked pick of hunter biden in my life. we're talking about the big guy and the juice there and what james comer is uncovering in house oversight. if people know it this time, you think it will matter to voters? >> i expect hunter biden will be a major campaign piece. i don't want to see naked pictures of hunter biden. that's what the campaign will try to spin this. the republicans are picking on my son and he has a drug problem. this is not about hunter biden. it's about joe biden and whether the president of the united states is compromised because of his exposure to his son's foreign business dealings. it's also about truthfulness. it's about honesty. president biden said this is
6:17 pm
fake information when he knew it wasn't. he obviously was aware of what his son was up to. there's real questions of moral character that he will have to answer for. no question. >> kelly anne: i agree with you. pam, you in addition doing being a legal expert won statewide elections. i want to ask you if you were surprised to see the three-minute re-election announcement video by joe biden, no mention of any of the bills that he signed in to law, no bragging about policy accomplishments. i was struck that he showed footage of january 6 and maga this and trump that. kamala harris is featured 13 times in three minutes but not allowed to speak. that is poetic justice. what do you see that they'll run on to win a second term? >> that they're anti-maga, they're anti-republican because they have no accomplishments in the last years. they're going to attack president trump. but it doesn't work. the america first policies are
6:18 pm
what saved this country and will save this country again. they're all that can save this country again. i applaud james comer and jim jordan. if we hadn't taken back the house, kellyanne, none of this would have been coming to light right now. the truth will prevail and americans are seeing it and hunter biden will be a big, big part of this campaign and so will joe biden. >> kelly anne: you're right. the house committee chairman doing a great job. as did speaker mccarthy calling the white house's bluff on the debt ceiling. speaking of chairman comer, her interview with sean was remarkable. he said he knows which country was at the center of the scheme. he can't say. i bet you will. what did you make of that? >> well, there's so many to choose from. the bidens were making millions of dollars from so many different countries over which joe biden had control of foreign
6:19 pm
policy as vice president. ukraine, china, russia, oman, romania, kazakhstan. the list goes on and on. the betting line in washington is ukraine. i will say that if this latest whistle-blower claim against joe biden is true and if it supported by credible evidence, this arguably constituteds bribery under our federal statutes and a separate felony on the foreign corrupt practices act. it qualifies as an impeachable offense, treason and bribery. given all of the other biden influence pedalling schemes with foreign adversaries, it does as chairman comer says match a pattern of corruption by the bidens. i think -- i pick ukraine as the likely suspect. hunter was on the payroll there raking in $11 million. you'll recall joe biden bragging on camera how he extorted the ukrainians in to firing a prosecutor, inventing his son's
6:20 pm
company by threatening to withhold a billion dollars in american financial aid. the central question is, will chairman comer get his hands on this document or will the department of justice and the fbi do what they always do, obstruct. >> kelly anne: yes, they do. well, i mean, i thought biden would be the nominee. but after hearing these growing woes -- just do you think president will be the nominee next year? >> absolutely. they're on this train and the horse has left the barn and they're committed to it. >> kelly anne: i agree. pam? >> i do, too. unfortunately for the country but good for the republican party. >> kelly anne: greg? >> they've reworked and fixed the primary system to favor him. he will hide out in the equivalent of his delaware basement taking a page out of
6:21 pm
richard nixon. i'm so busy to campaign and debate. i'm trying to save america. i guarantee you that will be their strategy. >> kelly anne: 4 for 4 unanimous agreement that joe biden will be the nominee. he picked at his vice presidential running mate, one of the three people that couldn't upstage him. it's not like they have a big bench to choose from. john, pam, gregg, fantastic panel. thanks so much. up next, we'll have more about joe biden's campaign. and take a look at your screen. next week, sean will be back with a live studio audience monday through thursday. go to hannity.com to secure your free tickets. with gold bond...
6:22 pm
6:26 pm
>> kellyanne: welcome back to this special edition of "hannity." joe biden's re-election campaign is in full swing. he's nowhere to be found. joe had no public events except for meals on tuesday, wednesday and thursday. he etch let his vice president lead a meading with tech ceos while he wandered around the white house before stumbling in on the group. today biden made a public announcement. he said he was holding a major press conference. but it never happened. take a look. >> i'm doing a major press conference this afternoon. so i love you all, but i'd like to ask you to leave so we can get down to business. >> kellyanne: now you know why they're always hiding biden. joining us with reaction is republican presidential candidate vivek ramaswamy. vivek, nice to be with you. i'm partial to people that are known by their first name. >> thank you.
6:27 pm
>> kellyanne: joe biden is the president. it's very difficult to dislodge a sitting president. i take it seriously to go beyond showing obvious mental and physical deficits of this man and hit him hard on policy to dislodge him from the presidency. but if he's not going to show up the week that he announces his re-election campaign, how do you advice and how are you trying to smoke him out? >> well, look, he's a, not showing up for the joe biden he's in and b, not showing up for the re-election campaign in the form of debates. when you see joe biden is not really the one running for president. it's the managerial class that puts him up as their puppet. against that backdrop, his cognizant deficits. what i'm going to go after him on is even more than the policy, the fact that he's not even the person running the government. that managerial bureaucracy controls the president of the united states and whether you're
6:28 pm
a democrat or republican, you should want to live in the country where the people we elect to run the government are the ones that run the government. same thing for the democratic national committee. that's why they're hiding him from r.f.k. and marianne williamson. it's the essence of what's going on. this is the deep state on steroids. that's why they're shielding him. >> kellyanne: it's clear they're trying to cling to power. you mentioned rfk jr. and marianne williamson. i'm struck by their as sent in the polls. they account for a third of all democratic primary voters, which is remarkable and they won't get a chance to debate joe biden for that nomination. you go back eight years ago and donald trump -- four years ago, donald trump was being assailed by person with 1%, 2%. "the new york times" was obsessed with covering his
6:29 pm
campaign. these people have broken a thrush hold that has gained them their rightful place on a debate stage. as you know, they're afraid to debate biden and afraid to have him show up. vivek, let me ask you a question about joe biden's position in his own party. a majority of democrats don't want him to run. he announced his re-election. he announced it differently. he put out a video where he didn't have a positive view of america. he didn't brag about his own accomplishments and forward looking hope of change to coin a phrase from president obama. i want to ask you what does it tell you about the democratic party that a, joe biden is its leader and b, they're afraid to have people debate him for the nomination? seem very anti-democratic. >> well, for democratic party that preaches about our democracy, it's not a very democratic thing to do to hide from debate, this is why the republican party can lead the way in being better. this is our moment to say that
6:30 pm
we are the party of free speech and open debate. we embrace that because that's what our founding culture as a country was based on. and when i look at the criticisms that mary williamson are levelling, right now it's not between democrats and republicans. it's between the managerial class in this country and the everyday citizen. when you view it that way, i think it makes more sense that biden is representative of the managerial class in this country. i think free speech and open debate, the democratic party would be better off. they're spitting in the face of their own base by saying that they're not even going to give them the opportunity to challenge the guy who is in charge, this is an opportunity for the gop. we can practice what we preach. i intent to be on that debate stage. that's why item people to go to vivek 2024.com. join the movement that will make our party and our country better. it will be the formula for
6:31 pm
republicans if we practice what we preach. >> you were applauded by president polls. you're clearing the 1% threshold for the debates. so let me ask you, it's 1 1/2 years only. 18 short months from the next election. name a couple of people that would be in your cabinet, your senior staff? >> we're evaluate whoing we would put. a combination of people that come from outside of government. we need fresh blood and also people that have seen how you take on the administration and the deep state. i'm focused on day one executive orders. not the things i want to drive through congress. presidents make a lot of mistakes trying to go through congress. i want to rescind affirmative action which you can do by executive order. lyndon johnson did it. i want to focus on shutting down the department of education that should have never existed. executive orders to roll back any mandate to report carbon emissions. that's how you unlock the
6:32 pm
economy. one of the things i'm focused on, what can a president do without asking anybody for permission and asking anybody for forgiveness. that way congress is designed to move slowly. we'll get to that later. the first three months of my administration are about executive power, constitutionally scoped, putting the military on the southern border to secure the board. that's what the president can do. that's where my focus is. >> kellyanne: unlike joe biden, when people put forth solutions, you're respecting the brains and the hearts of voters and giving them a voice and a choice in the process. that's what it's about. executive power, we watched president trump do that. president biden on day one just killed those keystone pipeline jobs out of spite. that's what he did. vivek ramaswamy, thanks for joining me. coming up, joe biden is facing two big deadlines and two crises in the coming weeks. the end of title 42 and the debt ceiling default. what is he going to do about it?
6:33 pm
we'll ask alabama senator katie britt when this special edition of "hannity" continues. e here... it all starts here. at bass pro shops and cabela's, we have the widest selection of the quality brands you love to get you outdoors. whether you're a seasoned pro or just starting out. our friendly, knowledgeable outfitters will help you find the right products for your next trip. shop with confidence with our low-price guarantee. plus, club members save even more on great gear with exclusive member pricing. bass pro shops and cabela's, voted america's best outdoor retailer.
6:37 pm
>> kellyanne: welcome back to "hannity". a night mare is unfolding at the southern border and about to get worse. title 42 is ending thursday and soon deportations will grind to a halt. as we speak, waves of illegal immigrants are camped out in northern mexico. thousands upon thousands have already poured across. can you guess what the biden administration is doing to address this crisis? absolutely nothing. meanwhile, biden is doing
6:38 pm
absolutely nothing about the looming debt ceiling crisis. he refused to negotiate or even to talk to republicans for months. but now he's begging for a meeting with speaker mccarthy at the 11th hour. here now with reaction, alabama senator katie britt. senator britt, before i ask you a question, let me introduce you to the viewers. as the first woman to represent alabama in the united states senate, the youngest republican woman to ever elected to the united states senate in our nation's history and of the 25 current female senators, the only one with school age children. when you're not making legislation history, you're making school lunches. thanks for joining us. two big crises. the looming debt crises. let's start with that first. speaker mccarthy caught the white house flat footed bypassing a bill cutting
6:39 pm
spending. speaker mccarthy called his bluff. what is your message to leader mcconnell and leader schumer and the white house? >> well, kellyanne, thanks for having me on. you're right. i'm actually helping my daughter as we speak. the american people deser sserv accountability. i believe that joe biden needs to be responsible and come to the table. americans are sick of reckless spending and increased deficits. we want people to make sure that they use our taxpayer dollars wisely and that we don't put this burden on the backs of our children and our children's children. kellyanne, it's not only fiscally irresponsible, it is morally irresponsible. >> kellyanne: so well-said. let's go to another crises at the southern border. title 42 set to expire this week on thursday. senator britt, i know there's
6:40 pm
democrats in your caucus that are incredibly concerned about this. we all know what we see, not what the white house says and we like to believe that. i want to go back to president obama's secretary of homeland security, jay johnson. he said when they had 1,000 crossings a day that that was devastating to the system, too impossible to handle. when i was in the trump white house, it was about 4,000 a day. now governor abbott of texas says when title 42 expires, we can expect up to 13,000 crossings a day. we can't get alejandro mayorkas to call this a crisis. what do you expect to happen? can we actually get some democrats on board with all the republicans to do something before thursday? >> absolutely. it is time for democrats to come to the table. stop trying to stump for president biden's re-elect. the truth is, biden knew exactly what was coming. he said he was ending title 42 january 26.
6:41 pm
when he came out with his own budget on march 9, he failed to fund this properly. in fact, he gave a decrease of 1% to the department of homeland security. adequately allowing us to combat fentanyl, to secure our borders and strongly enforce our existing immigration laws. it's totally and completely irresponsible. under joe biden, we have seen it be open season for drug cartels, for human traffickers and for terrorists. it's time for us to secure the border and put the american people first. i'm proud to have supported -- actually put forth three pieces of legislation to combat this, co sponsored 11. it's time to get to work. the american people deserve better. >> senator britt, you have visited the southern border. nothing like being there to under the gravity and the consequences of these issues. kamala harris's border czar, the
6:42 pm
vice president, she spent a little bit of time there one time. i can't help but think if you aren't serious about an issue, you won't show up and speak up and put up. it's no mistake, i think, no surprise, that the worst approval rating joe biden has on any one issue is border security. and you mentioned fentanyl now, the number 1 killer of 18 to 45-year-olds in our nation. do you find that if you talk about border security to some of your democratic colleagues you'd get more folks along with that? what are we to expect with six million people already here over the biden administration, that is higher than the population in 31 states in this country. so what do you -- how do you think we can win independence and not democrats on this issue? >> well, first off, you're correct. we cannot allow the issues of immigration and border security to be conflated. surely we can agree that our
6:43 pm
country deserves a secure border. just to your point earlier about the influx of numbers by the biden administration's own admission. we'll have over 12,000 plus coming across the border each and every day. when you look at fentanyl, americans are saying enough is enough. we are seeing this infiltrate our communities, our schools, our homes. americans want answers. they want leaders to step up to the plate and create real solutions. i know joe biden believes in walls because kellyanne, he has built one around his home in delaware. so making sure that we build walls, we make sure that we secure or border, make sure that we put policies in place of americans first and not continue to let joe biden's failed leadership put our country in detriment. >> kellyanne: you make perfect sense when you spoke about these very weighty issues. senator katie britt of alabama, thanks so much for joining us.
6:44 pm
thanks for your service. >> kellyanne, thanks for having us. we have to make sure people know it's a true humanitarian crisis and a national security crisis. americans deserve answers. >> thanks, senator britt. >> thank you. >> kellyanne: quick programming note. next week sean will be back with a live studio audience monday through thursday. head over to hannity.com to secure your free tickets. up next, you will not believe how many americans want kindergarten teachers to talk about gender ideology with their 5-year-old students. we'll show you the newest polling straight ahead. as someone living with type 2 diabetes, i want to keep it real and talk about some risks. with type 2 diabetes you have up to 4 times greater risk of stroke, heart attack, or death. even at your a1c goal, you're still at risk ...which if ignored could bring you here... ...may put you in one of those... ...or even worse. too much? that's the point. get real about your risks and do something about it.

6:49 pm
>> kellyanne: welcome back to "hannity." new poll from the washington post and kaiser family foundation shows how families feel about transgender issues. 77% of adults believe that it is inappropriate for teachers to discuss their transgender opinions with young students. in another questions, 2/3s do not think biological males should be able to compete against females. 57% believe gender is based on the sex assigned at birth. that seems way down. joining me now to discuss, fox news contributors, tammy bruce and charlie hurt. tammy, this poll came out in december. i don't think it got as much coverage as some of us expected but does give us a window to the thinking of americans. we mostly hear about these issues from the hard left every day. but what do you think when you look at these polling data? >> i think one of the reasons we didn't hear about it is because it doesn't help the left's
6:50 pm
cause. may not have been exactly what they expected. even though 57% as you noted is not very high, it's still a majority. there's a lot going on with manipulating and brainwashing and even the word "assigned" moved along their narrative. nothing is assigned at birth. it's not something that you decide what is a male and female. it's dictated by science. science assigns it. so what i like about this poll is the fact that it reinforces the fact that americans are fair, that we in fact before being drilled the last three years, we care about science and that's called biology and american families know that. american parents know that. it transcends partisanship. this is about basic reality. this, of course -- one thing i think is important to say is

that these are marginal extremist individuals that are left wing activists. the interesting thing is this is never been a debate about transgender individuals because americans, you know, we're pretty tolerant people. they've had to take it to surgeries for children and indoctrination at schools and other extremist edges on this to get people riled up to try to divide the american people. so i also think that is a good sign. so overall, we didn't hear about it because it reminds us that the american people are in charge, they've not been brainwashed by these years of bullying and also, they know, this has nothing to do with the transgender issue. it has to do with cleaving children from their parents and the left wing teacher's union. americans understand these issues and we're seeing that in

that poll. >> kellyanne: charlie, tammy hits the nail on the head when it's about the children. i'm concerned about them. i have four teens myself. i do things and they're struggling with their sexuality and otherwise. you have to be sensitive to that. i don't know how we started to treat adults like they're children around children like adults. the question in the poll is simple. do you think teachers should be talking about their opinions on these topics with 5-year-olds? 77% say who in the heck -- charlie, something came out in the atlantic, hardly a right wing publication. the author said in the u.s., you have to be 21 to buy alcohol. can it be taboo to say that 16 is too young for a mastectomy? there's starting to be a backlash forming. when you look at the polling numbers and thinking about what to write as a writer, what do

you see? >> well, it really is kind of remarkable. as you know, kellyanne, you know, can you imagine the people that are involved in this poll when they get the phone call -- i bet the numbers of sane americans out there are even higher than this poll registers. because this whole issue has been so hotly politicized. if a stranger called you on the phone and said can you change genders, half of the country is kind of afraid to answer that honestly because they know how badly brow-beaten they could get if they gave the wrong answer. but to me, what is the most appalling thing about this is, you know, it is a difficult time for young people. there are difficult issues here. there's an entire party, an entire ideology that is realized that they can take this thing and weaponize it and use it for political purposes. so the whole debate, all of

science, even basic grammar has been distorted in order to push this crazy political agenda. then the final result of it is we're talking about performing. what child ever wendt through puberty and wasn't confused? it's kind of the definition of puberty. >> if i could add -- >> these sick adults have figured out a way to turn it into politics and take advantage of it. >> if i could just on charlie's point exactly, these are surgeries and questions especially as a feminist, it disturbs me. as puberty is moving through young girls bodies are beginning to change, boys are treating them differently. they're uncomfortable. the effect of hormones is beginning to be particularly pronounced and that is when we're allowing them to start to

do surgical changes? have mastectommastectomies, hav hysterectomies? it's a shocking thing. parents are being lied to. parents are being manipulated. we're talking ant how social media needs to be regulated so that children aren't so affected by social media. this is about propaganda daily that young people are hearing through media, at school, on television and we've gone to war in the past to stop advertising in children's commercials because they started to want expensive toys in cereal. >> it's hard to watch the testimony of these children that regret the surgeries that they had. thanks for a spirited conversation. more of this special edition of "hannity" after the break. my brain. so i choose neuriva plus. unlike some others, neuriva plus is a multitasker supporting 6 key indicators of brain health. to help keep me sharp.
