the case eat thank you so much, eric. eric: is becoming all-too-familiar sadly. shoppers murdered at the mall slaughtered in our schools the dallas morning news this morning 20th amasa shooting so far this year in our country. how can we stop this car in it? you know americans do not want to put texas attorney general ken paxton joined us now but mrd on the investigation for the name not being released, what can you tell us about what happened who he is potentially what the motive could be? >> is not released by the local authorities right now we get the local police, it got the fbi, got state police involved in the investigation. they are withholding the name right now they've also withheld the victim's names as well. we will get all of that probably today or tomorrow. we will know everything about this that we need to know. eric: you have a gut at all about a possible motive or why someone on a lovely saturday walk to the mall and open fire? >> it is hard. this guy is dead so we may never

trained and armed and having more security people is also another good idea that could help. i don't think there's any way tubbs would prevent all gun violence. it happens at all kinds of cities across america where the of strict gun laws or they don't have gun laws it is unfortunate but it is a reality of life. eric: republicans let the assault weapons ban lapse back in 2004 that was passed in 1994. you think if that was imposed that potentially could prevent these type of incidents? what did this was that interested in following laws. i don't think following a gun law efforts willing to kill eight people and likely if he couldn't kill him or he would've killed more. so passing a law for somebody willing to kill people that relates to god does not seem to make a lot of sense to me. i would rather have law-abiding citizens that have the ability to carry so they can respond as well they needed to. eric: there is a built 21 bills after the state legislature that deal with this that democrats have proposed. the call for 21 there names for
