and when i was growing up in north korea i believed that my leader was a god who had the power to read my mind, i was brain washed to believe, that americans were called -- they never showed us the map of the world. however growing up in north korea we didn't have any food. so, i ate a lot of insects and plants, eventually, 13 years old, we had to escape to china to look for food. i crossed the frozen yellow river with my mother at 13, we got to china we were solidded as sex slaves, i was sold for over 200 dollars and my mother 65 dollars, two years of slavery, i met a christian missionary from south korea they told us to escape to freedom, which was south

korea, i walked across the gobi desert then to south korea. mark: north korea is as bad add people say it is, a prison colony of sorts run by a dictator who inherited the country like you would a car. the people have no say. if they dare to speak out, they will be killed, won't they. >> yes, i remember first thing my mom told me as a young girl, don't even whisper. the birds and mice could hear me, if i said one thing wrong it would not just kill me but take 8 generations of my family. saying one wrong word was most dangerous thing you could do in north korea. mark: they do through your family tree to find people you are related to and kill them too? >> yes. if the one person commits a crime, in north korea, a collective gift.
