mark: welcome back america. it is an honor to have young me park on the program. she is say refugee from north korea. by way of china. south korea, into the united states and happened upon columbia university, she has written a fantastic book, while time remains. i have gone through this book it very important. it is apropos to what alan dershowitz was talking about, young me welcome, tell us, you got out of north korea. talk a little bit about your background. >> i was born in north korea in 1993.

and when i was growing up in north korea i believed that my leader was a god who had the power to read my mind, i was brain washed to believe, that americans were called -- they never showed us the map of the world. however growing up in north korea we didn't have any food. so, i ate a lot of insects and plants, eventually, 13 years old, we had to escape to china to look for food. i crossed the frozen yellow river with my mother at 13, we got to china we were solidded as sex slaves, i was sold for over 200 dollars and my mother 65 dollars, two years of slavery, i met a christian missionary from south korea they told us to escape to freedom, which was south
