they are loading up into buses. this process will last all day long and we saw much of the same yesterday. the only thing that changes is that the numbers go up on a daily basis. >> todd: realistically, what can you do as county supervisor to prepare for the innovation that surwhite house is facilitating by lifting title 42? >> jonathan: one thing wee did is met with local ngo's to ensure they have resources that they needed, working with churches and other volunteers that in case of street releases, we were able to provide for people here in our community. it is a humanitarian disaster. yesterday our chairman of the board of supervisors sent a letter to biden asking him to federalize this to an emergency so we can seek additional resources.

most have arrived at the airport and taken a bus and come over here. the people that you saw exit the screen, boarded a bus and will be taken to a central processing tent and will have background checks and may be released into the community or sent through a fema contract to sky harbor airport. >> todd: we learned in the leaked memo that i believe the florida ag released to us, the individuals will be dropped off in a city near you. if the states feel they are overwhelmed and everybody feels like they are overwhelmed and that is where i worry that this is not just women and kids, not just families. you have single males and a lot of drug smugglers and human traffickers. how do you find them out of the thousands coming over so individuals do not infiltrate a community near the rest of us.

>> jonathan: working with border patrol, they were able to point out, it was easy to identify children being trafficked and they are able to ask additional questions, you can tell based on demeanor of the children. our concern is border patrol is not able to focus on border security while they are overwhelmed with the sheer numbers of individuals coming across. so while we have large groups coming across, the narco traffickers are then sending fentanyl and other narcotics across the border in different areas because of overwhelming number of border patrol personnel dedicated to the people. we have seen a large number of people coming from nations that we have never seen before. so far we are at 116 nations this fiscal year. language is a real barrier for border patrol and oftentimes, it

you? >> well, the only argument that has merit in my experience when dealing with congress from the executive branch is if you have an ongoing investigation, this idea that something is not classified, but confidential is something that is not typically recognized. congress has legitimate and important oversight responsibility. including what they are doing in this case. in my experience, this is not a reason not to turn over this document and the fbi is throwing up a smoke screen right now. >> todd: look at it in a room where you don't have to worry about things that could be leaked. i feel like they are making up every excuse in the book and it is not right. i asked if you were a.g., would you bring charges? our a.g. is merrick garland, the hunter biden investigation has been going on for years and we've been talking about joe biden and his family for a while
