i'll step out, so you can take a closer look behind me. state troopers are behind the wall. border patrol was here earlier, as well as local police. what you can't see, but we saw by scrambling up the wall, was migrants waiting and the razor w wires there. texas national guard members are also here. check out the video overnight at gate 42, just down from us. it is hard to make out, you can see people working through a hole in the razor wire. they cut another hole to allow migrants to move back into mexico. we want to prevent, deter and intradict. we are here protecting the border of united states and border of texas, their hometown.

>> ainsley: new york store owners are seeing a surge in shoplifting. grocers now begging the state to pas stricter laws to keep them safe. jason ferrera, ceo of ferrera food town, joins us now. good morning. you own three stores, there are 100 in the tri-state area. right? >> yes, we are part of three of them. >> ainsley: what are you seeing in your stores in your locations? >> it is getting worse and worse everyday. shoplifters are defiant. they do not feel there is any consequence. seems like they feel like they can take whatever they want and not -- when they are approached, she get defensive and aggressive. >> ainsley: they know they will probably not get arrested, if they do, they will be back out
