and swallows we're going move to the crisis at the border a record number of migrants continue to flood the u.s. border after end of title 42 and now border patrol is warning severe weather in the area is making the dangerous journey to the u.s. even more risky after a deadly tornado yesterday. will: matt is live in el paso with the latest. matt. reporter: behind us here on streets of downtown el paso you can see migrants sleeping on the pavement right now. some of them are starting to weak up as the sun comes up they're spread across two or three city blocks here in downtown el paso. basically the overflow from the sacred heart shelter here. and this morning, two full days after title 42 expired on thursday, the biden administration is still fighting to essentially quickly release as many migrants as possible under its proposed parole with conditions policy which would allow the federal government to

release migrants without a court date and instead they are required to make an appointment on their own. now a federal judge blocked use of that policy with a two week restraining order and instead rule that migrants can only be released with a court dates. well yesterday that federal judge denied the biden administration's request to place a whole on his own ruling and judge questionedded whether the biden administration is pushing to release so many migrants on, quote, patrol after department of homeland secretary mayorkas said that would be a small number. and dhs chicken little argument about impact of it not being able to misuse parole under either policy as a processing tool for surge of alien hard with the comments that only a fraction of the people that we encounter would be paroled into the krpght and this was the headline yesterday from "the washington post." at the border, a reset but no
