joey: hello, i'm joey jones. welcome to the big sunday show. illegal immigrants become wedding crashers. engaged companies set to say "i do" are in a tailspin trying to find a place for their guests to stay. one hotel has abruptly cancelled
2:01 pm
the bookings for several dozen rooms. dozens of people. one couple from florida saying the cancelled room reservations couldr could cost them $20,000 as they try to find room revocations for their guests. they said it's upsetting how they are treating the american people. i agree with that. i think it's insane. i know you were married not too long ago. one of these couples had people flying in from all over the world. people from more exotic places. but how would you deal with this? this is not a trivial thing. tomi: this is the greatest" nation in the world. if this happened to me i would
2:02 pm
be livid. i'm already livid for the american people dealing with this. this isn't just wedding couples, this will be in every city, every town, every suburb. you can't have 6.5 million people coming in, 80,000 in one week. they have to go somewhere. make no mistake, this will be catastrophic and it will affect communities that are underserved. a lot of these illegals will be there and sucking off those resources that were limited to begin with. but you get what you vote for. i hope the liberal cities know what they are in for. joey: this is a state and a city far away from the border. he has been tough on the government saying new york city
2:03 pm
needs more help. now he's busing them upstate and ruining people's weddings. two different couples here. what are the politics involved and how can you call yourself a sanctuary city if you are busing people out of your city. kat: this is not the first time we have had this issue. it's the first time it seems to have disrupted somebody's wedding. the story of the migrants partying in the hotel rooms and not inviting me. the way they were destroying some of the rooms, at least some of them are. i'm not angry at the migrants, the issue is the welfare state that you offers these incentives. we are encouraging people to come here by giving them these sorts of things. if you wanted a free hotel room,
2:04 pm
who wouldn't do that, especially if you were struggling. this is why when people ridicule me for saying tax are immoral. i don't know how they can be described any other way. the hotel can make more money from the city, aka the taxpayer than they can from people coming there to celebrate their wedding. it is immoral to take money from people without their consent. joey: i love what kat is talking about. new york taxpayers. this is a corporation saying the government is going to give me more money than these rooms are worth, so i'm going to cancel this. it attacks how we handle business and how we take care of each other. this is a business that made a
2:05 pm
commitment to two families who were going to get married there, and they are going to kick them out. guy: these were contracts that were signed. if the couples violated the contracts they would be dragged to court by this corporation sow i expect there will be and should be lawsuits in this case. if you sign a contract on the couple's side and at state says your wedding doesn't matter any more. we are going to evict your wedding guests and bring in illegal immigrants. that's a violation of the contract one of these couples said they signed. as someone got married a couple years ago and having the stress of every detail. to have this uprooted would cause people to hit the ceiling. the details are even more outrageous.
2:06 pm
we are talking about the married couples, soon to be married couples scrambling trying to find accommodations for their loved ones and friends. there is a story at the "new york post" at least at one of these hotels there were homeless veterans being housed at that hotel who are being thrown out of that hotel to make room for illegal immigrants. i can't imagine how many people in this country look at those priorities and say that's good. what a disgrace. joey: an administration that would find it okay to vick american veterans out of a hotel probably doesn't have a good handle on what border security is. it's a national security crisis. biden and majorkas will tell us it's white supremacy we need to be worried about. >> the most dangerous terrorists
2:07 pm
in our homeland are white supremacists. >> it tragically is in the terrorism contest domestic violent extremism is our greatest threat right now. joey: the body count for lone wolf terrorists in this country is higher than it has been in a long time. i am for anything to help with that and have those discussions. but that's severed from our border security. we had no terrorists as of today being apprehended from afghanistan. we have had tragedies happen under lone wolf terrorists. that's a scapegoat. >> in the mid-terms biden and democrats as a whole have been able to use this ultra maga

white supremacist threat to democracy. they want the independents, the democrat and liberal voters to believe the biggest threat we have is white supremacy. you can't solve that. you can solve the border crisis. you can solve national security to an extent. you can't solve the bogeyman called white supremacy. they don't have to do anything. all they have to do is fire people. it's a talking point that's very effective. joey: white supremacy is not a good thing and i am all for attack it where it exists. in san diego. border patrol apprehended a terrorist on the watchlist at the southern border. can they not acknowledge maybe
2:09 pm
the way we got out of afghanistan wasn't smart and now this is how it's going to hurt us. kat: they haven't acknowledged that and there hasn't been any accountability. that's what's so shameful about it. my husband served in afghanistan. he had a hard time watching that. there is no accountability. you hardly can blame joe biden. he said that because somebody told him to say that. what does that mean? what are they going to do, attack it? there are real things that could be done and need to be done with those issues. if you don't talk about them and don't acknowledge them you won't feel the pressure to do so. joey: the mainstream media is saying there is nothing to see at the border after title 42 expired. >> over the past two days the united states border patrol
2:10 pm
experienced a 50% drop in the number of encountered versus what we were experiencing earlier in the week before title 42 ended. it's extraordinary what we have done. joey: bill melugin is live at the border. bill, put that inin context for us. bill: in the last 48 hours or so illegal crossing have fallen off a cliff. but earlier in the week we saw the highest surge ever at our southern border. we had day after day of illegal crossing. in one week we hat 383,000 crossing. this is video of significant overcrowding in el paso. he shot this friday before there
2:11 pm
was a decline in illegal crossing. the first room has capacity for 120 and there were 700 in it. that is a snapshot of what it was like on friday. since friday it's true, illegal crossing have slowed down. i have hardly seen anything here in brownsville. it's a multi pronged approach. we had texas come out here with troopers and barbed wire. and a lot of immigrants are going to the ports of entry. it is going to pick up again, the cartels will recalibrate and figure out what they are going to do next. you can expect the numbers to pick up again in the next week or so. a. joey: the support explodes for the marine facing criminal charges for the chokehold death
