>> i have been gone eight years. but when we used -- i was on a fugitive task force that had police and county and we would go and knock on a door. and you know it wasn't overwhelming cooperation but we would get cooperation with from the citizens, you know, they might do something benign as, you know, you would ask where is the person we are looking for and the fugitive they might say something like we don't know, like that. and that was a clue that he was there. now, you know, i have been gone for 8 years but it's to the point now that there is no respect for law enforcement. and i would be real worried about knocking on a dar now because they are actually shooting through doors. they don't care if you are fbi, you are cpd. if you are cook county. they will just shoot and ask questions later and then not worry about the consequences because there are no consequences. and i think that's the biggest problem. >> yeah. i think a lot of people would agree with that criminals are kind of moving on their own, and
