i think where marco rubio has gone stronger than anyone else, in his conviction that the chinese communist party leadership knew there was a lab leak and knew far in advance. in my book, what really happened in wuhan, i detailed the outbreak early as september or october of 2019. but what marco rubio has done, said he is confident the communist party leadership became aware and sought to of coer it up. >> todd: the timeline is damming. early as 2018, chinese officials warned of safety problems at the institute of virology, 2018. in 2019, the wuhan airport holding emergency response drill, first report of wuhan resident dying from what he believed to be covid-19. in november of 2019, china hid documented cases of covid-19

while the south china morning post reviewed earliest confirmed case. on december 31, of 2019, china finally officially disclosed covid-19 to the publicity. sharri, where is joe biden? shouldn't he be holding china accountable for that timeline and what we now know was a coverup by the ccp? >> exactly. 7 million have lost their lives from covid-19, not to mention devastating impact on our economies around the world, years lost when people couldn't travel or see family and no accountability here at all. the picture that has emerged absolutely clearly in my book, my investigation, in marco rubio's report, there was a lot of dangerous and risky research being undertaken at the wuhan institute of virology, a lot funded by the united states because it was too risky to take place on the u.s., on u.s. soil

and as you know, gain of function was banned in the united states. it was being outsourced to this laboratory in wuhan and had involvement from the chinese military and no oversight to where this risky research was happening and what it was being used for and something marco rubio emphasizes, there was no safety protocol, no safety procedure, grave concern from the head of the institute of virology, how they were lacking in safety equipment. they were dealing with some of the most transmisable, infectious and lethal viruses and to think we still haven't seen the virus database that went missing in 2019. the wuhan laboratory took this database offline, never seen
