disclosures. everything we heard from the testimony from whistleblowers, was it any coincidence security clearances were revoked? >> no, you will have to bring in someone to say, this is whistleblower, this is retaliation. the fbi is protected right now by merrick garland at the attorney general's office. they are investigating themselves. these whistleblowers, people coming up who are dissatisfied say here are problems inside the doj, who investigates? the fbi will investigate themselves and this is the part getting this out in the hope, there will be some format for media, besides where i'm at right now to take this seriously. when you have a department with as much power to do what they do and they have to investigate themselves, that is a problem. >> todd: yesterday's hearing was sad, sad what happened to brave

how do you weed the good from the bad, there are still good guys and women who work for the fbi and that is the biggest problem. you may have remembered former fbi agent peter strzok, who was fired for anti-trump bias, and had this to say about the organization. >> i spent 20 years in the organization, it is a conservative organization, whether politically, whether in terms of law and order, whether in terms of broadly societal sense. to say it is liberalism is absurd and nothing could be further from the truth. >> ashley: a couple minutes ago, doug, you said what we've been dealing with the fbi for so long and it stuck out to me. does that mean to you, hearing what he said, it is conservative, is this the type of behavior that always happened with the fbi and we're just

bringing this to light? >> doug: yeah, i will go to peter strzok for that. the vast majority of fbi agents do their job. what has happened over the past 10 years, including mr. strzok and others, they at top levels camped out in washington, d.c. and decided agenda they push on the obama administration and the durham report said they shouldn't have opened the investigation, they cleared up everything that we and myself have been saying for others on capitol hill, this cross-fire hurricane was a sham, he has audacity to say higher levels of fbi acting in some other way than the proper way, that is wrong and has been the problem we had to esh >> out. i'm glad to see this coming to light. i don't care what presidential candidate says they will redo the fbi, that has to come through congress, congress has to take action to make sure
