the idea we get a say how this war ends is something even people on this channel debate. who are we to tell the ukrainians they need to negotiate for peace well we are the ones funding the war. regardless of how righteous you may think it is. we have a substantial investment when our own economy is going through a lot. and our own military is going through a lot. that much of an investment he is coming to the g-7 asking them to come fund the war. of course we should have pressure on zelenskyy and russia to find peace in this war because it's something that will be endless if we let it. >> ainsley: definitely on the agenda trying to show a united front. whoever is hosting get to invite whoever they want. japan's prime minister has invited 8 additional guest to the events, to the dinners and talks. australia, india brazil, south korea, indonesia cook islands. biden is cutting his trip short. he can come back and deal with

3:09 am
between one another. this is almost like your prosecution and defense attorney. congress is there to defend our rights and our interest against anything to include the federal government that might come into our lives. and to see those democrats point every single criticism of the fbi as an anti police or defund the police from the republicans. if you are a democrat in congress and you don't understand the difference between what we're pushing for, which is to support the police officers in local communities that are of that community defending that community, the federal government, which has this overarching power through the fbi to go into our lives, into our privacy and look for reasons to apprehend us or investigate us, then you need to go back to school and learn civics again. yes the fbi is a law enforcement department. but the difference between the federal government and our local police, that's what republicans in congress actually understand and i think those democrats need to think about that. >> lawrence: i find it troubling that the democrats were so in the last administration in protecting whistleblowers.
3:10 am
all of a sudden now they don't want to protect these whistleblowers. i mean, some of the allegations that were made were jaw dropping. and then you have all these criminal justice reformers that are part of the democratic party and they didn't say anything about the fbi policing for profit? that is illegal. bonuses given based upon the amount of prosecutions that were done. the criminal justice system is for public safety, to protect citizens. it is not to make a bonus if you capture someone. it's illegal. two of those whistleblowers was on "jesse watters primetime" as la night. this is what they had to say. >> we're just trying to do the right thing for this nation, if that means even becoming homeless at the hands of the fbi then we are willing to do it. willing to sacrifice that going to take a lot of brave men and women inside and outside the fbi to make sure that gets back on course and working for the american people in the way it's

house when secret service is there again, there is imply implications of politicizing law enforcement. people's lives are at risk and people's civil liberties are at risk. there is just not enough conversation about it. i wish cnn and msnbc and all the other network that put vindman on tv would put these guys on there as well so they can talk about what is happening in the fbi. donald trump isn't the first political figure to be targeted by the fbi. i mean, martin luther king was targeted by the fbi as well. and that's not saying that all the cops that are in the rank and file people are doing negative things, but they are at the highest level. they are political operatives there and think should be discussed more. anyway, a lot of news coming up today. video out of iowa as a suspect speeds off, despite a police officer hanging on for his dear life. the justice just served in that case. >> ainsley: gosh. what would you do in that case? plus, the elephant in the room as we inch closer to 2024.
