4:04 am
i think what you take from that, if you are a conservative and looking at this debt ceiling fight we have, which is all of that spending immediately, during and after the pandemic allowed a buffer. it padded the effect of shutting down businesses and shutting down economies and communities. but, eventually that money has got to get paid off. eventually things have to even back out. and that's where we are now. and a lot of republicans at the time that were taking -- which there weren't many taking objection to all of that spending said this is what would happen and now it's happening. >> ainsley: two out of five americans are struggling to make ends meet. we have all been there. i remember in my 20's when i was bouncing checks which is not legal i called my mom and say can you put $100 in my account because i owe $25 to the piggly wiggly grocery store. it took me forever to get out of debt. i didn't make a lot of money. i'm blessed right now. i get that bill and my heart

singers see it's gone up twice, doubled and as a single mom you get those bills and it's not fun. but you do what you have to do. when you read two out of every five americans is really struggling to make ends meet. it makes you sad. if you do have the means and go to the grocery store and really giving and loving spirit, then pay for the person behind you or pay for the person in front of you, chances are that person is struggling. >> lawrence: a lot of polling out, too, saying that more kids or teenagers are going back in their 20's as well going back to live with their parents just to make ends meet. we have got a voter panel today. let's go talk to. they natalia, how are you? >> how are you? >> lawrence: how big is the economy in this next election for you? >> i think it's really important. living in new york city and costs of everything going up here is hard to ignore. you know, it's the elephant in the room. >> lawrence: johnny, in the last election, there was a lot about tone and tenor. but it seems like we are in a
