they aren't the only ones speaking out. multiple whistleblowers are stepping forward in multiple investigations. hard to keep it straight but that's why david spunt is here to sort it out for us. >> a lot of whistleblowers, no question about it. the f.b.i. is out with a new statement following that testimony yesterday. pretty succinct. the f.b.i.'s mission is to uphold the constitution and protect the american people. the f.b.i. has not and will not retaliate against individuals who make protected whistleblower disclosures. these men insist they are protected whistleblowers and were punished for questioning january 6th investigations. the f.b.i. in a letter to congress explains why two had security clearances revoked. two men questioned what happened on january 6th. one used an unauthorized flash drive to remove files from an f.b.i. computer and an attorney

position looking into the hunter biden tax investigation. so certainly a lot of whistleblowers. i suspect more will probably come out. but important to keep an eye on all of them, dana. >> dana: thank you. bill, one of the things i was thinking about is it's not an easy think to decide to come forward as a whistleblower. your life will change dramatically and don't do it unless there is a compelling reason and due skepticism. but when they testified yesterday they seemed very sincere and credible. >> bill: they made the point that all three of their lives had been changed forever. we watched this yesterday together. it was a heated hearing. republicans clearly had their line of attack and so did democrats. the headline sums it up from cnn. jim jordan's f.b.i. whistleblowers, questions about their legitimacy amazed. it has to tick off these witnesses. that's what we watched together

carolina after it put biden over the top in the 2020 nomination. "politico" calls it a self-inflicted predicament saying democrats are sir knowledge for ways to get the president on the new hampshire ballot after he pushed for changes. what did they think was going to happen? let's ask mark penn and jessica tar love. in 2020 biden did not do well. sanders won and buttigieg. elizabeth warren only got 9.2%. biden was last. is it a problem if new hampshire goes first? >> the idea was to move the primary calendar more favorably to biden. there is no opposition to biden anyway and it won't matter. i don't think ken dewill take him down.
6:21 am
>> you have a republican governor. they won't change state law. they could leapfrog south carolina. he is not playing in the game. if you lose. it creates headlines. >> it will be a close race in 2024. the country is too polarized. four electoral votes matters. the democratic party as a work around. they can have a state-run primary. i don't think it's a great look for the president. president biden is not only moving south carolina up because that's where his assent to the presidency began. there is a long-held discussion in party politics about the fact that there are little opportunity for black and brown voters to say what they want before we get to south carolina. when you have iowa and new hampshire appeared you don't get to nevada or south carolina until fourth, fifth, sixth that's where that comes from.
6:22 am
>> bill: maybe it is a game or not. joe biden is at 62% among democratic voters. rfk junior is a tick below. >> dana: call for number three. the 2020 president election results. you might be familiar with the map and ptsd from the map. mark penn, biden now is the incumbent 2024, his staff is saying they have many paths to get to the win that they want in 2024. what do you think? >> i'm sure they have a lot of paths. first if his job rating is in the low 40s or high 30s, no president i know of has gotten reelected. you aren't looking at the state by state maps yet. you are looking at the national numbers. he has to get up to around 45 to have a credible candidacy. that his big problem. i have a poll coming out i'm surprised will have trump up by seven points against biden.
6:23 am
in the general. after biden's announcement rather than going up, he seems to have tanked by 6 or 7 points because most democrats really didn't want him running in the first place. >> bill: wow. i wonder how that plays based on this quote. we are investing in these states early. key battleground states including arizona, georgia, michigan, nevada, pennsylvania, wisconsin, florida and north carolina. that's the election. >> dana: you know those states very well. >> bill: jessica >> they named all the states. he will compete in all the states. the ones shifting more blue that were purple. if you look at what's going on in pennsylvania and michigan. they are reliably blue at this point. georgia and arizona the new frontier. interesting the investment in north carolina. a lot of democrats were disappointed. beasley was a good candidate.
6:24 am
florida is not like it's ohio, it feels more and more out of reach even though we had a big upset in jacksonville with the new mayor becoming a democrat. i would say about the polling and mark has this new poll coming out, there was a poll two days ago from wpa intelligence, a republican pollster, that had biden up seven over trump but had desantis beating biden. >> dana: did you test desantis in your new poll? >> it comes out even. desantis is not really that well-known a candidate. you can't compare candidates that are fully known. trump and biden are fully known. neither of them are getting additional voters at this point. there are some voters in the middle who don't like both of them who would decide the election. >> dana: you think desantis can put a dent in trump east lead? >> what you think will happen usually doesn't happen. the numbers are looking bad for desantis.
6:25 am
another surge for trump within the republican party. he seems to have strengthened himself nationally and within the republican party. so desantis will have to come out swinging here. it is a long primary campaign. i don't think that really trump is locked in. i think he has some soft voters who really want an alternative. the problem is desantis looked really good. faded heavily. tim scott is coming in. i think tim scott brings a whole new dimension to the race. let's give him a chance. >> bill: a lot of people will fight for oxygen and the story is starting to change as of today. that's a great line when we're in new hampshire and iowa and everyone will. the things you expect to happen in a primary usually don't. the l.a. dodgers under fire for canceling plans to honor a group of transgender nuns during pride night. what the team is saying about that today. viral video of a tussle over a
