cnn reporting, they believe the florida governor's record may give them a chance at the state's 30 electoral votes. i had to do a double take, i don't know if they saw the governor's race and how he swept the state. what do you think? >> tomi: florida is a shining example of what america can look like if you put your people, residents and constituents first and lead with capitalism and allow that to pave the way for success. florida is a great example of that. ron desantis is first-time presidential candidate polling just under former president donald trump and the left knows this. joe biden would rather his handlers know this. they are terrified of governor ron desantis and will do everything to convince people florida is not a great place to be, which makes zero sense.

this land where nothing gets done. >> todd: nothing gets done. that is common refrain from portland residents and three join us now, tom, stu, and bridgette, thank you for being here. how far has the city fallen that they are writing songs about how bad it is? >> it is pretty bad, isn't it? thank you for having me. portland and oregon are in crisis at this time and john melancamp has nailed it. my favorite is one you just said, the land of the plenty where nothing gets done. in oregon, we have four million people and committed $4 billion to this crisis and portland's mayor freely admits the problem is 50% worse, not better, that is sad commentary on leadership.

your take? >> i would hope they note that the video was of los angeles and not of portland. but one problem we have here, the government wants to administer the homeless and created homeless industrial society that causes -- doesn't really get to helping or alleviating what the real issues are. there is a private organization called helping haens that has amaze track record of treating mental illness and getting people back into reentry into jobs. local and state government want to monopolize the money and use for temporary shelter and not help people and helping hands has done a great job, but they can't get money to help them do it. they rely on private donations.

what you are used to doing or have you played in front of people before? >> so i have played in front of people before. i have been playing guitar for a very long time. and i played for my school multiple times and before that i was actually in a sort of after school band-type thing and we played concerts just about once every month. so i have had some type of experience playing in front of people but actually never played the national anthem for a crowd before so that was a new experience for me. >> todd: obviously that song an important song in our country. trey tre what does patriotism mean to you. >> it means a lot to me. we play the national anthem before the home game. it's a representation of what it means to be in this country it. means great deal to me to be able to play that song and to represent this country the best as i possibly can. >> ashley: you know tray, my
