trump, because he has already had one term, could only serve one more, so he would actually became a lame duck on his first day. so they are signing -- t they ae hitching their wagon to ron desantis. >> ainsley: people make up their minds now about who they want to see get in. we are also anxious to see these debates and what their issues really are and who you resonate the most. youngkin did so much for schools. he listened to the parents there. that was interesting to me. business background working at the carlyle group and being very successful. tim scott, what a story. this guy comes up from poor single household. his grandfather didn't read. his slogan is from cotton to congress. ran for the house and ran for senate. and now running for president. if that's not a wonderful american story. he created the opportunity zones all around the country which does lift up people. they are bringing in billions of dollars in private investments into these poor and distressed communities to give jobs to people who live in those

communities and he wants school choice for kids. that will elevate children in poor neighborhoods where they have to go to the school based on their zip code. >> pete: look at how donald trump welcomed him to the race. a very different treatment than ron desantis has received. steve, you were talking about 2016 before the cameras turned on. look at the field right now. there is no one in this field unless chris christie runs which maybe he will who ran in 2016 a lot of bright political futures in 2016 ran over by a trump train. concern is desantis always think about what's your moment. everybody may have thought it's '24 and maybe it is. but also diminish your future prospects. there is no 8 year project if there is no republican victory in the republican primary as well. >> steve: ainsley, to your point. of the defining moment and by the end probably be 8 republicans in. would be to watch them all on the stage. keep in mind, it is a tv show. just like donald trump broke out

in a crash killing a bride on her wedding night reportedly got special treatment while in jail as she seeks to get out on bond. the "new york post" reports jamie was granted in person visits despite jail rules allowing only online video calls. accusation comes as she faces three counts of felony dui and one count of reckless homicide. the go fund me for the widowed groom who was seriously hurt in the crash has raised over $730,000. a second whistleblower is calling out the irs over concerns that the agency mishandled the probe into hunter biden. the whistleblower is coming forward after being removed from the case despite spending five years working on it. in email in to irs senior officials the lack of irs criminal investigation senior leadership involvement in this investigation is deeply troubling and unacceptable. the whistleblower and their supervisor are expected to testify about the hunter biden investigation on capitol hill this friday behind closed doors.

lack of disregard for laws we put in place. lack of communication and coordination and their lack of plan on how to solve this problem it disappointing to say the least. and i'm rather upset that they have decided to call me only a few days before they decided to bus these migrants into my community without even asking if it was okay first to tell you the truth. so i would like mayor adams to actually have some second thoughts about this. >> steve: no kidding. what if they show up and what if there is federal marshals with the bus or something like that where they say sorry, nick, you're going to have to take them? >> well, we just filed -- we're filing for restraining order today at 79:00. we're hopeful to be in front of a judge today. i'm pretty confident that he that we will be able to get this restraining order. if the court puts the restraining order in place, i think we will have a pretty strong case to make sure that the migrants aren't able to get off the bus and into the housing here at this hotel. >> steve: yeah. indeed. you know, mayor adams is in a bit of a pickle because he has tens of thousands of migrants

thing called the buddy system. i have a friend keep an eye on my back. mid water column just to make sure everything is safe i was dealing with the fish rocks slaying at the bottom of 70 feet shark just blindsided me and hit me in the side of my outer leg. and when i got bit i yelled. i lost all my oxygen. i want to thank my friend danny maduro who was 6 feet away from me. didn't even hesitate risking about the shark but he helped me come to the surface by grabbing me and we got to the surface noticed how bad the cut was got to the boat. when i got to the boat. i took off my weight belt, put it around my leg, pulled as hard as i can and the doctors say me putting the tourniquet on so quick saved so much of my leg with muscle in it. >> ainsley: can you see the images, you can see where the teeth were sinking into your

leg. how did you get away from that shark. >> so, honestly after the shark had actually bit me tweets. my main thing was getting to the surface as quickly as possible. so, after he bit me, we didn't even -- we didn't even care where the shark was. we were just get to the surface. >> ainsley: you are still in your hospital gown. i know you are hoping to get out today or next few days. i will talk to your dad now. omar, i know you are with miami-dade fire rescue. you are a captain. thank you for your service. >> thank you. >> i know they had to medevac your son. the horton goes down there 7-mile bridge. takes him to the hospital and his life is saved. what is going through your mind. have you ever seen anything like this? and what was your reaction? >> yeah. i mean, we are trained on these type of emergencies with the heavy bleeding. you know, a major artery bleerksd you only will last 60 seconds to 120 seconds per our training. the need quickly stop the bleed. i was actually in our headquarters doing an active

shooter training, going over some of the, you know training with bleeding and life saving procedures when i got the call from danny. he was in a panic he was screaming my son got bit by a shark and there was blood everywhere. as you can imagine as a father and someone who is in this line of work. my heart stopped for at that moment. he couldn't hear me. i was screaming at him. asking where he was bit. making sure they had stopped the bleeding if there was bleeding. and whether he was conscious and alert. he couldn't hear me so i closed my eyes and said a prayer. they could focus on getting. >> what a sorry. kevin, now that we know you are going to be okay. gosh, you will be able to show your grandkids this one day. i survived a shark attack. did you ever expect anything like this to happen? were you worried about it and will you dive again? >> so, there has always been that thought in the back of my
