7:06 am
>> it's regrettable first of all to throw out the card of accusing everybody of bigotry. let's be clear about something. 30 counties and two towns in new york state have already declared emergency over half the counties in the states obviously there is something there it's called legitimate concerns raised by majority of residents. and for good reasons. we are not clear on what's going on the infrastructure we have the resources we have had a challenge already. me be very clear, what's going on here is we are ready for what we call organic migration we have had we've already had people come here from the border and they are assimilating into our county in a very modest way but we are still seeing strains on our food pantries and strains foster care for children has increased 35 percent fat, think about that, one school district and i have 1000 added children to a and its distrust school
7:07 am
district already. how are they going to learn? it's a shame she has to pull the card out but i would urge her to do instead is what's going on now kathy hochul and others are attacking the problem they are attacking the symptoms, how and good lord's name can you continue on this let's find places to put them when the key right now is to get to the border and even if you can check the border down, slow down the integration of people for time being so you get a handle on the prices that's been created by people like eric adams in new york city, new york city sanctuary city. >> you mentioned the state of emergency that's been declared in your counties we have it i think a graphic you can see. it's not just rockland county these are all the counties saying, hello that opens you up to be able to get the resources to deal with this but listen to mayor eric adams yesterday on the number of migrants coming in to your point about unsustainable. >> 5800 people came to our city
7:08 am
last week. those are factual numbers. they are not made up numbers. we are seeing the week before, 4200. >> dana: how long is the average stay of a vibrant coming to your counties? if you think they are planning to stay for a long time? is this a short temporary stay or moving on or will you have possible permanent legal residents their system? >> what i will say first of all surveyor as you put the welcome mat out you get what you and you should have planned this already. and the people coming here they know exactly spring valley or the village in rockland county on spring valley from a country they came from they come here because of friends and family here. is a slow assimilation we been able to manage we've done that by working with our not-for-profit immigration reform people organizations out
7:09 am
there the social services personnel our food pantries, we been managing without asking the state for a penny not a penny but the mayor has gotten billion dollars in his hands to the poor people from the state it's absurd from the city, it's absolutely absurd, you're not getting anything done and people are coming here to stay as long as they can and the most important thing for them is work the problem with clerk's office county has a very low unemployment rate of two percent housing is an issue here and spring valley is in a crisis right now for housing, rockland county for the first time in history of the state has been tasked with taking over housing departments and spring valley because it's in bad shape. is very few places for people to live and there's very few jobs we have day labor and that's about it. >> you have a lot of your plate we thank you for coming on the show today we will stay in

from one family watching their daughter lou zach iscol championship track race to a transgender competitor. the parent saying exclusively to fox news digital there is no way that should be allowed by 100% empathize with the need to belong and the desire to compete, however, you have to understand how hard these girls work to do this, you are cheating the sport. fox news contributor ããlisten to athene ryan this is a transgender competitor a quote "i wasn't expecting that i dropped 17 seconds on my seasons best in the past two weeks after last weekend i didn't think i can run low fives again i was just coming to break five just glad i finished about one of the parents of the saying they are not allowed to speak out saying the student athletes reactions are very tempered and controlled as much of the can because they are not allowed to show any reaction to potentially not a firm attempting. so by cif rules the girls are
7:22 am
unable to speak about this. you just wrote a book about speaking out. >> that's the part that got me i did write about this in my book a little bit where people don't understand that not allowing someone to speak or making somebody too scared to speak is not the same thing is getting them to agree with you. if anything can work in the opposite way by building resentment and if you look at things, there is nobody actually quoted in the article because everybody's anonymous it seems that everybody has us fear that if they say something that might affect their daughter's ability to compete at all in the future which there is no positives no matter what your view is the situation question awful the more i think about it the more upset i am for the girls we can all be emphatic and compassionate with the biological girls they work their butts off to get their. >> there's only two fixes either martina never told about wisely says there should be an open category up to the various sports and their governing
7:23 am
bodies to decide how you do that affect seems pretty fair. depending on your gender identity and who you prefer to race against you can be in the open category it's either that or you let women juice, take performance-enhancing drugs. i look at this and i think i'm so sad i didn't have boys because they would make so much money and women's sports.>> i also want to ask you about this. i know you are a yankees fan but the dodgers you know the doctors very well they change their mind had disinvited anti-catholic group to pride night that there was an uproar now they are bringing them back to dodgers saying after much thoughtful feedback from our diverse communities on the conversations within the la dodgers organization discussions with the sisters of perpetual indulgence the only daughters were walking back and a sincere apology. right thing to do? >> for catholics no i don't
7:24 am
think there's a lot of catholics were terribly excited about this but it's pride night and supposed to be fun anything goes as sisters of the sexual indulgence should dial back to anti-catholic rhetoric. you can have fun and make your point without excluding and hurting other people new york yankees fan and san francisco giants fan so i really don't like the dodgers no matter what they do here it's going to be the wrong thing.>> there's this lawsuit that alleges michigan state professor for students to pay $99 to go into a fund for her to do left-wing advocacy.including buying an suv now the students are suing her in the college saying maybe we need to change something here basically the university says it does not comment on pending litigation. she is not currently employed by the university and the students have been reimbursed but that's black male. >> is absolutely crazy. for the fact that she's using

it for her own personal organization. unfortunately i given speeches on college campuses and talk to college students, it's far from uncommon for students to feel like okay my views are more conservative they don't align with the professors so do i write in this essay stuff i straight up don't believe or do i fail? no student placed by the way paying to go to the school should have to make that decision. >> imagine your daughter next year says can i get an extra $100 to pay my professor. >> this is one of the things i did anticipate when you send your kids is going to make sure you have a shower caddy and other unmentionables to keep them safe but bribery money i didn't have that on my college to do list. >> hopefully we won't have to in the future great to see you both. >> she bought an rv. >> a $60,000 rv. >> that's how you do it. >> john, take it away from us. >> john: [laughter] will he or

7:34 am
let's bring in xes contributor josh cross shower, here is the headline from your fine publication we will put it up on the screen, scoop, virginia governor glenn youngkin reconsiders 2024 bit, will he or won't he? >> the one thing that governor youngkin has the advantage of his time and money. he's waiting to see what happens with this current presidential field. does donald trump face further legal problems? does ron desantis live up to expectations? how does tom scott do is not to make an announcement ahead of these other candidates looking to get in but but he could look at the race as it looks at the end of the year and he may think it's not living up to standards he could get in he has a lot of money. he has millions and millions of personal dollars to spend and ramp up late in the game. i think he wants to be a part of the conversation. it's hard for any republican to jump in the race right before
7:35 am
the iowa caucus the new hampshire primaries but he certainly looks at himself in the mirror sees a possible resident and doesn't want to be left out of the conversation. >> you can always invoke the florida strategy as rudy giuliani. >> president ronald reagan change lives now it's our turn. time to choose life liberty and the pursuit of happiness over oppression and dictatorial rule the stakes are high. and the consequences couldn't be greater. >> day retro senior advisor to youngkin just shot all that down saying governor glenn youngkin's focus on virginia, anyone who would say otherwise is probably close to the government as they want people to think. if you go for youngkin, who would want him to run? people who don't want trump they think desantis might pull
7:36 am
a rick barry fall flat. >> there's a lot of republican donors operatives to think that donald trump is unelectable in 2024 they want to find someone who can win and offer a mainstream republican conservativism and youngkin did it and virginia no one thought he could win a blue state like virginia he won pretty comfortably he has a very upbeat conservative record of governance. i think one thing he needs to pay attention to there's big elections in virginia where the state legislature could go either republican or democrat in november if he flips the state legislature republican has a political argument to make after the november elections that could give him a run for president but if it stays blue there's not a lot of argument to make it could hinder his chances. >> hillary clinton asked yesterday in a form about bindings near slip at the g7 and whether age was an issue, here's what she said. >> we've had presidents who have fallen before who were a
