mcenany and todd piro. we are so happy to be here on this memorial day. i want to thank tunnel 2 towers upon the flags they put out on fox square. i hosted over the weekends we had amazing navy band both days. >> kayleigh: i watched. unbelievable. it gave me chills. >> joey: to see those dress bylaws. you know the president's own marine corps band in the white house it. feels surreal to say that. >> kayleigh: such an honor. what an honor to sit here with you today. as we honor all of those who have served. what an honor to sit by you. >> joey: honor to be here to represent the men and women that i served with. today, more than any other day on the calendar. i heard a lot about this cause gets a month. this cause gets a month. memorial day is a single day. it's kind of appropriate. there is so much modesty and humility in service or sacrifice. i don't know one man or woman gave. have a month to be celebrated. but just for day we remember

debate is far from over. >> we don't have a deal yet. we're not sure how many republican votes can be produced and it is all because republicans said that they wanted to cut the deficit. and let's be clear, that what they got from this was not that. they may have gotten other things. i'm not happy with some of the things i'm hearing about. but they are not cutting the deficit. >> those are some concerns also we are hearing from house republicans overnight including matt rosendale of montana frankly insult to the northwestern people support a piece of legislation that continues to put our financial future at risk. did not send me to d.c. as usual. i will be voting against the fiscal irresponsibility act. we are hearing from lauren boebert of the great state of colorado she says the usual establishment people are popping champagne over this debt ceiling deal. it's more worthy of a bud light. some west virginia lawmakers may be celebrating today. the debt ceiling deal includes a

provision permit to finish the mountain valley pipeline. it nat natural gas to other sta. some fear it could cause environmental damage but this deal is going to move forward. >> kayleigh: launch, mark. quite a list of everybody cans who i respect who close that not only those mentioned but chip roy, mike lee, senator ted cruz. what i think what mccarthy's office would tell you we were up against a hard deadline. they don't get back from memorial day until tuesday. then there will be 72 hours that he has vowed to give people to read this piece of legislation and he got what he could. up against a democrat senate, a democrat presidency, you don't always get what you want when you don't roll government. >> joey: this is one of these things i fear they are speaking to each other rather than the american people they come out. they use terms that are broad. they talk about details within funding that a lot of americans don't fully understand. you look at that laundry list. we had the graphic unjust a

minute ago. look at laundry list of things that were talking points among the same republicans criticizing it now going into the negotiations, stuff like work requirements. a big deal for republicans, repealing the 1.9 billion for the irs this year. that's 1.9 among 80. that is the 1.9 that was allocated to hire the new irs agents that. symbolizes preventing already passed legislation that would have hired the new irs agents. already passed legislation bringing back some of the covid money. they are bringing back, you know, billions of it and trillion-dollar budget. and so there's a lot of argument to say that kevin mccarthy went, in and strategically targeted what his members were asking for. but then you take a step back, and the big concern or the big criticism is it grows our expenditure by $4 trillion. i can see why nobody is happy. >> todd: it's all obviously going to come down to the math as chad pergram always reminds

us. did in what kevin mccarthy did there, increasing the deficit slightly 4 trillion, you can see that in this day and age did he get those moderate democrats? this isn't normal discussion is he going to have enough votes to become speaker and only the republicans matter. if he gets enough democrats obviously this thing moves along. that becomes the main question. each of these individuals in congress is going to have to give a vote. the people that aren't going to have to give a vote unless you are tim scott people on the campaign trail running for president. one of those is vivek ramaswamy. here's what he said about whether it's a good deal aren't. listen. >> if i were in their shoes i would press further. i don't think this squeeze the lemon hard enough. i think we need to change the appropriation language all together in the entire process to actually say instead of saying shall spend, we need to go back may spend. actually, puts -- i'm thinking about this if i'm the next u.s. president. i don't want my hands tied to be able to shut down government agencies that should not exist.

received thank you. so you have got 10-year-olds, 85,000 children lost by the u.s. government. we knew that earlier in the month. where are the human rights activists? >> look, they are nowhere to be found. ever since joe biden has been president, we got over 1700 migrants that died on u.s. soil record. a record number of children missing. over 85,000 children that were released to unvetted sponsors. i guarantee based on my 35 years of experience, some of these children are living with predators. some are probably forced to make pornographic movies. we know some are forced into labor because we already have three or four instances where they are found in meat packing plants working midnight shift. here is what the taxpayers need to know. they don't have to pay $500 a night to be in a hotel room. right now while you and i are talking there are thousands of empty ice beds already paid for by the taxpayers sitting empty at about $117 a night. ice bed there is 24/7 line of

sight supervision by officers so this kind of stuff doesn't happen. they have 24/7 medical coverage. three square meals a day. and most importantly, if you are in a ice detention facility you see a judge in 35 days. not three years, five years, or in new york city. >> so, tom, you know, that's befuddling what you just said there are empty ice beds while we are filling up luxury hotels in manhattan. why would they possibly leave ice beds empty? >> great question. because homeland security the secretary of homeland's security own report over the last 10 years says this: nine out of 10 people claim asylum at the border never get relief from the u.s. courts. they don't qualify. they get an order of removal. what happens? if you are not in detention, if you are a family unit, only 6% will leave. so that 90%, 6% leave. however, if you are in a ice detention facility, 99.7% get

roccato. dan, great to see you as always. you heard the reason state farm gave. are you buying it? is it nothing more? >> i think it's true. hi, todd, good morning to you. thanks for having me. it's very expensive to build in migrate state. very expensive to build. costs more than three times to build a home in california as it would somewhere else in the country. that means when there is damage to that home, to reconstruct that home is terribly expensive. listen, state farm is not a nonprofit. i know that might surprise a lot of folks. but the reality is, if they can't make money, they are going to pull out. >> todd: interesting. this is what the california department of insurance said to fox business, quote: the factors driving state farm's decision are beyond our control, including climate change, reinsurance costs affecting the entire insurance industry. and global inflation. but that said, how responsible are california regulations for putting state farm in this position in the first place? >> all those things are true. but not the complete story.

the fact is that we do have a lot of regulations in the state of california. that surprises no one. listen, from a consumer's perspective. we want our government to regulate but not dictated. and that's the issue. we have gone too far, in many cases, with regulation that makes it more expensive to reconstruct. in addition to things like wildfire mitigation strategies, other things that we can and should be doing better. the reality is that the government can help set the tone and can help set the table to lower costs so that insurers can actually do business in state without being told this is the way you must do it and, therefore, they are saying well we can't afford to do it that way, we are going to leave. >> todd: okay. so what if i'm watching this segment and i'm not in california. let's say i'm in illinois, new york, new jersey, connecticut, massachusetts or one of the other highly regulated states throughout our nation? how worried should i be this morning that my insurer is going

to say hmmm not worth it for me anymore and we are going to move out and go states like texas, florida where it's a much more friendly regulatory environment? >> well, the goofed news is that most insurance markets are highly competitive as it should be. from a consumer progressive we progressive we want.it's regulaa will a lot of wrinkles to the insurance market. i'm not overly concerned although we see early evidence the reality is testimony regulate not dictate california or any other states we will wind up with more competition. we will wind up with more consumer choice. it really is that simple. >> todd: my worry is if you start having insurance companies leaving, that is the exact opposite of competition and what

happens when competition leaves a marketplace? prices go up. who is that price hike going to fall on? that's the consumer. that's my worry. are you as worried about that as me. >> always. you are absolutely right. you summarized it perfectly. the fact is insurance companies who leave leave fewer behind. those fewer behind typically mean higher prices. at the end of the day, that's what we really want -- we really want to make the consumer in charge. put the consumer in charge of his or her choices. whether they want full insurance or less insurance. and give them a plethora. a bunch of companies to choose from. let the marketplace work. let the government regulate that market place but not dictate to that marketplace. >> todd: what's your overall advice to our viewers today regardless of whether they are in california or not? >> yeah. insurance is highly competitive in most parts of the country. slop around. the reality is most of us set it and forget it. we buy a policy and forget about it forever.

check it once a year. shop around. chances are you may be better to do better on that policy. don't panic. the reality is if you are a state farm customer today in the state of california. you are going to be a state farm customer tomorrow. existing customers not impacted by this move. but always be on the lookout, todd, because, as you said, whether we see these kind of changes in the marketplace, it means that consumers ultimately are going to be faced with choices. some of those choices might wind up costing us a lot more money. >> todd: what i'm always reminded of in a story like this when i was a lawyer in california we would have to write 50 state documents. 49 states would have a same document. california would have its own and that increased cost to a business and they do not like that when when they are trying to turn a profit like state farm. dan roccato, thank you. we appreciate it. >> you got it, todd. >> todd: from growing pains from pain to protesters. protester playing ona stall gentleman. turning out book event. here is the quantico marine

their crops. that's how it happened. >> todd: how much more of a cost savings do you think the average farmer can get from using a drone as opposed to what they're currently doing? >> so the drones save you money in two ways. initially when you first buy them for equivalent traditional system you are only paying about a quarter of the cost. the drone is 25 of what you would have paid for a tractor, helicopter or airplane typically. if terms of operating costs you are looking at a fifth. 20% of what normally would pay for operation and maintenance of other traditional machines. >> joey: arthur, i have a 40-acre farm i have to spray with pre and post emergent and fertilizer. i do need to buy a drone or can i hire this service to be done for me. >> you can do either. so we sell the drones so we actually sell the hardware itself. the software that goes with it and a lot of entrepreneurs throughout the country buy our systems and use them as tools to make money and service farmers such as yourself.

>> kayleigh: arthur. auto make always a fear replace humans this appears to be replace ineffective technology you are not displacing farm workers. >> that's right. in the farm world i'm sure you guys have heard this there is not that much labor to go around. we are not replacing anybody. creating tools that allow the current farmers to stick around and work the land to extend their ability to service it. this is a forced multiplier for people on the ground. there is frankly an issue with people just leaving the rural areas. we are solving that problem. >> todd: there is a general concern that not necessarily your technology but chinese drones in general if they are over american farmland will be able to send data back to the ccp that they will be able to utilize. the same concern that we have with a lot of chinese investors buying up land around farms and the like. how do you avoid that kind of a problem with your technology vs.

what the chinese are putting out there? >> so our technology is all-american made. so we design manufacture it. we control the flow of data. that's what is very special about our company. there is not a lot of american companies doing this. a lot of competition to your point is foreign made drones. especially made in china. that come over. i think that is a very valid concern there is a lot of data sharing concerns surrounding that technology. so, i think if you're a farmer, you need to be thinking about do i really want the chinese government to be knowing exactly how much i planted this year, where i planted it and do you want them to have the tools that allow them to turn off your ability to produce food? that's a very concerning thing for obvious reasons. >> joey: arthur, i know a lot of farmers myself. you know, it's a cultural thing, flight a tractor is a cultural thing. getting your hands dirty and getting out there in the field. it kenny chesney she thinks my tractor's sexy i don't know if i
