>> like i said before, parents have no control over setting up graduation audit or administering the state exam, no control over putting proper processes in place to ensure proper channels of communications have been imple implemented, this is failure of district leadership and that is where i stand. our students, the statement and narrative is that our students failed, but they did not fail. over 80% of students were eligible to graduate. according to the student body. many of tsame seniors were on a senior trip, friday before graduation was to occur and participated in the back

board hires, is responsible for hiring our superintendent. when i talk about the district leadership team, i'm talking about the local school board, and the district leaders. once a superintendent is selected, the superintendent is responsible and we're entrusting the school board to hire and select a superintendent who is skilled in fosters district culture that will keep our students emotionally and physically safe, our teachers and staff and looking for someone who will put processes in place. parents, nor students have the ability to vet and evaluate campus leaders, that is out of our control. somehow in this story, all of the -- the claim individual

accountability or individual responsibility on the part of the student has caused these negative headlines is really far from what has really happened. the students were under the impression our students were going to graduate on the 25th and many parents had relatives in from out of town, one family even from mexico. >> carley: i understand the community held informal graduation because original graduation was cancelled. how did that event go? >> absolutely, we did have a meeting with the district superintendent on wednesday and he told us that the graduation was indeed cancelled because he had high standards and he wanted us to reach those standards. that is understandable.

it's far from being perfect. but, underneath the circumstances it's the best we can get. now, if this was 2025 and hopefully we control the white house and both chambers, i would expect a much different conservative bill. i believe under the circumstances it's the best we can get. i do believe there pass the senate. right now you have both outliers. you have the bernie sanders of the world and you have the outliers on the right side of our caucus that is -- that's against it. but that's what negotiation is about, right? i have been a businessman my whole life and one thing i have learned is negotiations and circumstances matter. and unde under these circumstans it's a pretty good deal for us. >> todd: the fbi has confirmed that the document allegedly linking joe biden to a foreign bribery scheme does exist and james comer is now moving forward with contempt of congress proceedings because christopher wray is refusing to turn that document over to the house oversight committee. basically saying you can come in here and look at a heavily redacted version.

this document has been declassified. we need to make that point because that protection of sources argument is now nullified. so what's your reaction to this brazen obstruction by the fbi? >> well, i don't know why we are surprised, flight director wray's boss is garland. garland's boss is biden. keep in mind, the fbi isn't completely independent. they fall underneath the doj. and director wray is very political. he's very smooth at pivoting. but his boss is directing -- is protecting biden. and so what we have to do is really take a hard look at the fbi. the seventh floor of the hoover building is absolutely corrupt. the field agent could an excellent job. we need relook at the way the fbi is set up. we have to hold people accountable and no one is above the law. and write now director wray is 100 percent protecting the biden family. >> carley: let's talk about the contempt of congress proceedings against christopher wray. what would that mean for his

future? and is that a strong enough threat to motivate him to rea lot of this document? >> garland is going to be the person to bring up the charges. director wray is probably sitting in a pretty good spot. keep in mind, this is the same guy during the baseball shooting that attacked steve scalise that labeled the individual not as a domestic terrorist but as a suicide by cop attempt. even though he purposefully attacked republican congressman at the time. this is a guy that's very political. and so i don't think he is worried at all because he knows garland is going to protect him.
