about. alexandria hoff joins us. it was virginia, maryland, people in d.c. what the heck was that noise. >> yeah, there was a bit of panic. you saw it social media on social media. people captured it on their home cameras in the d.c. area there can be reason to be concerned when you hear something like this. let me say, this is a story that would have been heart breaking all the same had this this plane simply and quietly crashed in central virginia. pilot list flight thousands on the ground they heard that boom and knew something had gone wrong. unresponsive crashing before 4:00 p.m. in central virginia according to state police. now here is fox news' jon scott also a licensed pilot speaking to the plane's unusual flight path. >> it took off from tennessee. it was supposed to land at mcarthur airport which is on new york's long island. it actually flew past long island, then did a complete u-turn in the air. started heading back to the southwest. flew directly over washington, d.c. this is just a weird accident. at this moment, eric, it's as weird to me as malaysia 370. it's just a mystery what happened. >> here is the heart wrenching part bar were rumble who wrote on the plane wrote on facebook one devastating line my family is gone my daughter and grand guard daughter. virginia state police reported there were no survivals. john rum pell nanny on board with granddaughter about 2 years

kind of polling becomes public, democrats are going to want somebody who can beat governor desantis and who can beat president trump. and i don't think -- i'm not confident -- i don't think anybody is confident that they have that president biden. so i think that will persuade a lot of people. >> brian: not only fighting republicans. he is fighting every major newspaper in the country, including one and peter baker who does a really good job, did the most glowing delusional profile of joe biden and his energy and age. that's what he is fighting against. r.f.k. wants to prove that president biden -- anyone, a lot of people have a reason to feel that way as you watch joe biden fall on his face and not have any press conference. literally fall on his face and not have any press conferences, one-on-one meetings. always call a lid early in the day. not vigorous in his structure but fit, they pointed that out. okay. i will give you that but, if

republicans in the primary. >> ainsley: i wonder if he will change his mind. >> steve: i hope he does everybody would like to see how they would all stack up when they're shoulder to shoulder. i think the "new york times" article essentially says that the "new york times" is now all in on joe biden. they realize, you know what? >> brian: everybody? >> steve: we're not going to be able to squeeze him out. he's going to be the nominee come 2024. so they're all lining up behind him talking about, you know what? he has had some problems, but he is still doing a good job as president. >> ainsley: one user on twitter was reacting to jack dorsey and talking about that. and the user said the dnc will never allow kennedy to become the nominee. >> ainsley: dorsey wrote true but they seem to be more irrelevant by the day. >> brian: wonder if a third party candidates enters. in the "new york times" editorial section i'm going to go with a democrat or pick joe biden like they did last time. it doesn't mean all the reporters have. to say the reporters could just tell the story.

are going to kill one of the american service personnel and it's going to hit the fan. what are they doing. >> yeah. i mean, look. china is intent on undermining the united states, obviously. and especially in the south china sea. and, look, what they want us to do is they want us to be bullied out of the area, we have to continue to conduct these freedom of navigation controls. that's what we are doing there we have to continue doing that to send a message that, look, these are international waters. and we have to remind china of that fact. and unfortunately, china what we have all seen over the last several years, and this is that we have one of the weakest commanders and chief in the history of our nation. sadly, china is using that to try to bully and push us out. they are hoping we are just completely flee the western pacific as a whole. we cannot do that. the biden administration responds in strength. that's the only language that they understand. >> brian: they are not. they are doing the opposite.

people. rebecca, i will start with you. >> it's very important for these candidates to get in front of iowa voters. i think the roast and ride is a great opportunity for these candidates, especially more so for the voters to be able to hear from all of the candidates in a forum like that. >> carley: like. >> ainsley: has to be pretty cool on the world stage everyone watches our elections and to live in iowa, a key state. >> yes, it is. and i feel like it's even more so over the last couple elections. has really been a state that has taken, you know, more notice 'an topics important to the families. >> ainsley: rebecca, what are your top topics? >> i grew up on a family farm here in iowa and i work in ag policy now. most of my issues center around things that deal with agriculture. i really want candidates to be able to have thoughtful

conversations around immigration in workforce and what trade would look like under their administration. >> ainsley: how is that affecting your state? >> i really like the perspective that a lot of the candidates bring. right now i'm leaning towards nikki haley. i think she brings a unique perspective with her time as u.n. ambassador that i don't really see in many of the other candidates on foreign policy and trade. >> ainsley: alissa, how about you? what are your top topics? >> family is always at the top. but education is top. i'm involved in education, so, the approach to what is happening in the classroom and in the schools is really important to me. >> ainsley: okay. the latest fox news poll, let me show you how trump and desantis are fairing. trump is winning by a lot. 53%. desantis 20%. rebecca, what is your reaction to that? why do you think these numbers look like they do? >> i think initially it's just name recognition for president

trump. but i wouldn't count desantis out yet. iowa is known for kind of come behind wins especially in the caucus. if they candidates can get out and meet voters especially in rural iowa, not just doing town halls in des moines had will help them come caucus night regardless of what those numbers say now. >> ainsley: alisa donald trump was one of the candidates didn't go to joni ernst event. eight other candidates there big deal to hear them speak. he was in iowa last thursday that town hall in sean hannity. what do you make of that latest poll? >> i would agree with rebecca. i wouldn't count desantis out. for education i would say that trump has been for school choice which is important. i'm seeing the effects of that in administration right now. parents do want that at our school we are being flooded we don't have enough room for the students that want to come to our school. so i know that's very important. i do know that desantis has hit

>> my eyes were kind of open to trades coming up. college wasn't pushed in my household. my parents just kind of opened my eyes to some other opportunities coming up and trade school was presented to me at a local -- at my tech school or my high school i graduated from. steve exactly. i mentioned a moment ago when you were in high school you were an honor student and everybody thought next stop she is going to go to a cleaning, right? >> right. >> why did you decide not to do that and to enbark on entrepreneurial adventure that has gotten you to where you are today? >> after sitting counsel and actually thinking about what you are signing up for, which would be hundreds of thousands of dollars of debt, essentially, you really think about what you want your future to look like in the next 10 years and it's not paying off that debt. because once you graduate you are going to be in the hole. that was my thought process.

>> steve: that's exactly accurate. farrah, how many kids from your high school didn't go through the thought process that you did and they said okay, i'm going to go to college and now here a couple of years later they have gigantic debt and no real future in some cases. >> i don't know what they think now because i don't talk to them. >> steve: gotcha. so will you explain how you went from, i know you bought a car at 18. you are moved out on your own at 19. and now you have got this one-woman salon -- nail salon business. can you explain how you were able to be so successful? >> i think i was able to be successful because i found something that i was passionate about and i was able to monetize it. i really think you can do that with any hobby or skill. so everyday, when i work, it doesn't feel like work. so i'm able to push the limits when it comes to how far i want to take my business.
