>> i'm laura ingram and this is the ingraham angle. the angle is in moment. i couldn't believe this story when it broke. it is truly out of this world. it is hard to think of anything that is frank -- frankly more significant than this. according to what is an explosive expose in the publication "the debrief" a former whistleblower gave congress and the inspector general extensive, classified information about deeply covert programs that he says possessed retrieved and in tact and partially in tact craft of non-human origin. this whistleblower is not a ku -- kook. he is with the national geospatial intelligence agency

and recognizance office. in that office he served as the represent -- representative to the unidentified aerial task force. here he is in his own words. >> when you say retree value, what do you mean? >> non-human technical vehicles, call it spacecraft if you will. no kidding, non-human, exotic origin vehicles that have either landed or crashed. >> are they electric vehicles? no. like other whistleblowers we heard from of late, the government bureaucracy will undoubtedly try to discredit the account. anticipating the fallout, he is warning that such ongoing government denial of the arms race he calls it, would be extremely dangerous foreman kind, inhibiting our ability to be prepared for an unexpected, non-human intelligence contact scenario. joining us now is a former

f.a.a. teen pilot for the navy who came across these type of aircraft. i was stopped today in everything i was doing when this came out late today. do you agree that at this point this is about safety and our own national security at this point? >> absolutely. it has never stopped being about our national security. what david has been able to do and the courage he has been able to demonstrate coming forward is what congress was hoping for when they enacted laws in the last national defense authorization act to enable just this. >> now, what you saw when you were on the f-18, when you were a pilot on the f-18, describe for us specifically. >> certainly. we were flying off the coast of virginia beach on a daily basis, and we started noticing on our

radar, on our camera systems and eventually our eyeball what's appeared to be dark gray or black cubes inside of clear, trans louse sent -- trans louse sent spheres. they were between 250 and 350 knots and performing meandering maneuvers or even straight maneuvers upwards of supersonic. this actually lines up quite well with what dr. sean kirkpatrick has recently communicated being the most prevalent object in his research, spherical objects that travel from 0 to 2 knots. >> the government has had to slowly reveal they are unidentified objects and they can't say what they are, but they are not regular. their justification essentially
7:05 pm
for not being forthright is national security, correct? >> certainly. not from the angle of we are going to hide what is on our camera systems, but the fact that our cameras can see certain things or our radars can detect certain objects in certain ranges, that's the reason it has been explained why these videos and these images have been classified to the level they have been. >> right -- i'm sorry. i want to play a little more from this whistleblower and let you finish your thought. >> we have spacecraft from another species. >> we do. >> how do you approach that? >> quite a number. >> this is something people would waive off as an insane asylum person for just speculating about a few years ago. now, oaker yeah -- oh yeah, a lot of these. what is the average american

supposed to think about the government's credibility on this issue given now what we are discovering, albeit belatedly. >> well, i think the average person right now just needs to sit and wait a little bit and see this process play out. david has provided a number of documents and pieces of evidence to my knowledge that congress can then validate and then they will be in a position to communicate that information to the american people. i truly believe that transparency is the only way this conversation is gonna be resolved and this is a great step forward in that direction. >> well, and certainly congress has to be briefed on this regularly. you can't keep this information from congress. i don't believe there is any justification for doing that. ryan, i can't wait to find out more. thank you for joining us tonight. and now, down to business. that's the focus of tonight's angle. to all of you outside washington , you sane people out

there, it may seem really odd that a large portion of our business community supported joe biden in 2020 and still support him now. our gdp, corporate profits, consumer spending and investor confidence, they were all strong under donald trump until essentially the pandemic hit. by the end of 2020 things were poised for a rocket-like recovery, but of course we know what happened next. >> everything is falling and it keeps happening. check out some of the stories from today. biden's high interest rates and stay at home slackers pushed a significant spike in delinquencies in mortgage bonds that are tied to office buildings. and now investors have been
7:08 pm
watching for this since last summer and they say this may represent a tipping point for our economy. and this warning from macy's about consumer spending, they missed their quarterly sales estimate. we are also seeing reports that u.s. hotel developers are running out of cash as construction lending is drying up. now, this is grim. why does big business have such a man crush on the shuffler in chief? doesn't this mean we need at this point a more establish-style republican? friendly to the pro-china wall street crowd to compete against joe biden? how did that work out for republicans when we nominated the consanant mitt romney? we saw jeb bush, ted cruz and john kasich and others run more a pro-big business platform, and even pro-globalization platform and they all failed.
7:09 pm
and now we have nikki haley and tim scott and now mike pence running on the same platform. again though, where is the enthusiasm for any of their policies? this is why the left is so scared of both trump and desantis. they represent a different world view. back when ronald reagan was running the battle against jimmy carter, the business community was truly terrified about what was happening to the u.s. economy. but today, our fortune 500ceo's, they are not sweating high taxes, especially with republicans in charge of the house. these days taxes and regulations, they are in -- they are a much bigger headache for middle class drivers than the 1%-ers. if you really want to understand the political mindset of our wealthiest business leaders today, you needed to watch the private jet traffic to shanghai into beijing the past few weeks. >> call it a ceo parade in
7:10 pm
china, leaders of some of america's biggest companies are there this week. >> starbucks ceo is in town, and this follows a string of recent visits over the last few months from the leaders of apple, samsung, aramco, volkswagen, the list goes on. >> jaime diamond is in shapbg -- shanghai as well. >> the chinese defense, musk said he opposed decoupling, describing the country as inseparable, like, quote, conjoined twins. tesla did not immediately respond to our request for a comment. >> maybe with the exception of musk, i think all of those ceo's would prefer biden over trump or desantis. not much of the business community is post-american. they are focused on max -- maximizing profits on the rules-based order. even if that ends up shafting american workers in the process. they don't care. they have no problem using slave labor in china to make their goods, and they like the prices
7:11 pm
china pays for their own intellectual property. and even when china buzzed our surveillance plane and made aggressive moves on the bow of a u.s. naval vessel, biden continues, most embarrassing thing i have ever seen, to publicly grovel in front of china. >> yeah, i think the fact we were able to get two officials to beijing while we are talking is a good sign. we want to keep those lines open. it is important. especially, as i said now. >> so the message is clear. if you want closer relations with china in 2025, you better be supporting biden and the democrats. now, of course business also loves the open border, more immigration, sanctioning policies, whatever brings an unlimited supply of cheap labor they will be for. oh, and on the wokeness front, let's not stop there. let's drop the notion that the left is bullying big business into moving to the left on all of these cultural issues. that's a lot of nonsense. yeah. there are a lot of corporate
7:12 pm
chieftons who are scared and as scared as they are rich, and they don't have the stomp -- stomach for a fight with the drag queen lobby. it is just as likely the ceo's themselves are simply becoming more woke. these companies are lead by executives who went to the same elite left wing schools as their friends in the media. these people aren't adopting dei and spreading cultural leftism because it makes them money. in many cases it doesn't. they hr doing it because at some point they end up believing it. this all means the gop needs a plan b. a multi-ethnic coalition of working class voters, voters who care about economic growth and are wary of china and worried about a maxist society turning it upside down. and a fight over abortion and transgenderrism on its own? i think it is still what the democrats are hoping for because
7:13 pm
they know they are gonna lose an economic debate. they want to stay as far away from that as possible. they know america is getting poorer. they know we are getting weaker. democrats all know it, but they just don't care. they would much rather spend their time discussing climate change or how love is love. republicans who stay stuck in that quicksand exclusively are gonna struggle to climb out. the candidate who keeps the focus on the practical can however breakthrough. so this is really not the time for vague discussions about freedom, you know, like this is 1984 or even 2004. this is a time for pragmatic solutions. it is time to drop the gnaw stole -- the nostolgic campaigns and that's the angle. joining me is chief political correspondent for "the washington examiner." steven miller seen yes, sir advisor to president trump and
7:14 pm
founder of america first legal. molly, why do you think there are so many republicans, many recently jumping into the race, who are still pursuing this antiquated passe mold of republicanism that has been rejected time and again on the national front? >> well, it really is something that they were so familiar with for so many decades. we have this period of time from the 50s to the 80s and you would hear people say what is good for general motors is good for america. a lot of corporations were involved in the cold cold war against the soviet union. the corporation and their support of free markets aligned with republican interest as well. we are really far away from that and we have had a lot of elections to see how much that old coalition has broken down. some people are apparently slow learners. >> nikki haley came after desantis during her cnn town hall over his feud with disney and then desantis decided he was
7:15 pm
going to hit back. >> here you have desantis who accepted 50,000 in political contributions from disney, but because they went and criticized him, now he is going to spend taxpayer dollars on a lawsuit. >> how utterly bizarre. somebody does a campaign continue -- contribution and you are supposed to lay down? that's not how i operate. >> you walked right -- he walked right into that trap. >> and he has a real point. this fight inside the republican party has been going on for a longtime. you mentioned mitt romney. he did a campaign that was totally out of touch and talked about how all americans are entrepreneurs and he was a venture capital sort of guy. but at the same time there was another candidate named rick sontorom who said there is a lot of blue collar workers who don't own their own company and they didn't start their own company. they get a paycheck like everyone else. trump just blew everything up.
7:16 pm
and now we have really seen an enormous change where the big corporations which as molly said used to be thought to be completely republican have gone so woke and republicans have an opportunity. remember, donald trump in 2016 won pennsylvania, wisconsin and michigan and nobody thought you could do that. >> steven, this multi-ethnic coalition and the possibility of it is a beautiful thing. it brings people together on thf agreement that cut across -- and in all of these categories we obsess on all day long, trump really tapped into that and was i think going to explode that old notion of republicanism if he got a second term. how important is this for whoever the nominee is in 2024? >> well, you're exactly right, laura. president trump created this multi-ethnic working class coalition of blacks, whites, latinos, asians, immigrant
7:17 pm
voters, native-born voters who wanted to have a country built around their concerns, and that means bringing our jobs back, that means sealing up the boarder and having an immigration policy that raises wages and not drives them down, and then it also means taking on wall street and the excessive financialization of our economy and the out sourcing that takes jobs away from working people. this has to be the goal, laura. it has to be the mission. you want to take on world corporations, you also have to take on their bottom line and take on the offshoring and take on the out sourcing and take on the sweet deals for wall street. you have working people taking 30%, 40% taxes, but people are taking advantage of our financial system where they can keep their money sheltered for decades without having to pay real income tax. take that on. write to these companies and you will see a working class party, laura. >> molly, this idea that these corporations are gonna get bullied by black lives matter buying these mansions for their
7:18 pm
directors and all of these fringe groups, yet they melt into a puddle of goo when g offers you a deal, we will give you 5,000 workers. i have never seen anything like it. they melt in his presence. it is disgusting. i am disgusted by these ceo's, every one of them sorry, including elon musk. >> when we were fighting the soviet union in the cold war, corporations, not that there was no business done with the soviet union, but they really weren't an important part of this. now we are in a serious adversarial relationship with china. the corporations and their leaders -- hindrance into resolving the disputes we have there. and we have these trade disputes where we started trade agreements after world war ii. they need to be updated, but the corporations are resistant to doing that as well. >> byron, don't mean to beat up on elon musk because he is the richest man in the world. they

they are always looking for a save -- savior. there is one savior and he hasn't come back yet. there is no savior. he is dependent on that chinese revenue stream. that is critical to him. is it not? what does that dependency on someone who is our political, military, cultural adversary say about the current state of politics and where we are in the country? >> well, it says -- >> he doesn't make policy. he takes advantage of it. >> it says conservatives shouldn't trust him. you knew ahead of time that he is a billionaire and he can do what he wants. he is not really on your side. i think you made a good point about the culture of people at the highest ranks in our corporations today. look at law schools across america. they are turning out leftists left and left. and so they make tons of money and buy the same products and they vacation in the same places and they have summer homes in the same places. this is a culture that is very
7:20 pm
sort of homogeneous and it has moved further and further left. >> steven, the national security advisor jake sullivan, your old pal, was explaining or trying to explain the administration's line that they are trying to walk on china. >> we are for de risking and not for decoupling. we are not looking to decouple our economy with china and end trade between the united states and china, but looking to derisk. we need secure, resilient supply chains and protect our most advanced technologies. >> it is like flying upside down with a reconnaissance aircraft. >> i think derisking is a fancy term for surrendering, laura. the reality is we are dependent on china for our essential needs in this country, our medical needs, pharmaceutical needs, our supply chains. our farmers are dependent on china, our defense industrial

pace and minerals. solar panels are dependent on china. if we don't sever our economic dependency on china, they have an off switch. they have an off switch over the health, the lives and the security of the american people. >> and freedom. >> what could be more important than reclaiming that independence for ourselves? >> panel really quick, i will ask you one yes or no. molly, should the economy be the number one issue in the campaign for any republican? >> american voters repeatedly said yes. >> byron? >> yes. >> steven? >> yes economy? >> it is tied for me. >> it is tied? wokism and the economy? >> sovereignty and the economy. i can't put anything above sovereignty. >> the border, okay. i'll give you the border. i thought you were going to say wokism. great to see you, panel. biden appointee goes to the u.n looking for an international reparations effort. and ireland has called for the killing of hundreds of thousands

saying mlk junior is radical helps his argument. does it? >> that's what he's attempting to do, are but it doesn't make any sense. it doesn't make sense at all. here is the real issue we are having: the democrats have been trying to offer black america a myriad of things through the years. they offer things like, hey, we will protect your right to vote. but when black people go and vote there is no issue with them voting. they say we will make sure you have a future in education, but they keep the kids trapped in the same school. they say we will give you a better economy, but the policy hurts poor people in the country trying to get up the economic ladder. they say they want safe streets, but the streets are riddled with crime. what about reparations? maybe that is the new thing we is -- we have to promise black america. the issue is progressive policies have failed black america time and time and time again and so now this is the latest straw from the radical left trying to offer reparations. >> some are starting to realize this, congressman. last week in chicago some residents shared their outrage

over a $51 million aid package to illegal aliens now in the city. >> how dare this mayor and city council have the guts to give migrants $51 million? we didn't have the luxury or the opportunity to cross the border. >> we have seen more of this angling -- this anger. does this have the potential to change voting habits? i have no idea what that gentleman thinks about reparations. maybe he is for it. the point is he sees that liberal words don't add up to solutions for african-americans. >> i definitely think it does, but this is also now a call to action for republicans. do you have the ability to build relationships with people in the black community to actually hear what is going on in their world and bring the policy solutions that actually would help them?
7:30 pm
we have seen it happen before under president trump. blacken unemployment, an all-time low. black wages growing, all-time high. black wealth creation, all-time high. we know we have the policy prescriptions, but you have to go and build those relationships. i think what you are definitely seeing within the black community is black men, they have had enough. they are getting fed up. they are tired of the lies. they are tired of the excuses, and they want to see positive economic changes which is frankly the republican party -- >> do you think california will ever do reparations? don't you think it is dangling, dangling, dangling? do you think they will do it? i say do it and let's see if it works. >> i don't think they will do it now, but that legislation is so crazy they will do something like that, but it won't work. at the end of the day, a man has to work. a man has to work. a man has to earn it for himself. you can't just give it to him. if there is no purpose in the wealth 245 has been create -- wealth in the way it was created
