2:01 am
accusation? the fbi admitted this is highly credible human sources and admitted they paid this source substantial amount of money and hoo had been part of the bureau for 13 years and their answer was, it is part of an ongoing investigation. we don't know which investigation, we don't know when the investigation began. we know two weeks ago they tried to act like this form didn't exist and today the fbi is bringing this form to the house of representatives. >> carley: alexandria hoff, good morning. >> alexandria: according to the agent, director wray made the document available, but they say they can't hand it over without handing over sources. kevin mccarthy does not buy that. >> this document is not

2:03 am
bribery scheme. the document had been flagged and sent to delaware for the investigation of hunter biden. >> certainly chairman comer has been talking about the delaware investigation. i didn't pick up anything from the fbi that tip motivated the delaware or central component. if that were true, all the more reason that document should not be out there if it is part of an ongoing investigation. >> alexandria: the white house states this is a fact-free stunt by james comer to spread inuendo to damage the president and get himself media attention. fox news was told the source is a person highly trusted by the fbi. >> todd: thank you. bring in former fbi special
2:04 am
agent and former navy seal, jonathan gilliam. that comment from anna paulina luna, about the threat this individual could be killed. you worked for the fbi, how seriously do you take a threat that this informant could be killed? >> jonathan: that is always a risk in informant takes. congressman luna said he, she narrowed it down 50% it is a male, not a female. anybody with any association with president and then vice president biden anybody with any type of involvement with him in the past is going to know somebody that is a male informed on them.
2:05 am
i don't think this is something they should worry about, the informant could be killed, so the investigation should stop. we have things to support sources and i think the investigation is important enough it should go forward. >> carley: i'm sure you were listening to what congressman comer and raskin said yesterday and it was tale of two congressman. comer says it is undergoing and raskin says it is not. and he said it was investigated under bill bar are, two different stories we heard yesterday, even though they were in the same meeting. what do you take away from the statements? >> jonathan: raskin is leftist and will follow the narrative. when you have comer, come on is, he is a lot of soundbites and no

substance and in between those two things, you have bill bar, who really didn't have anything of substance when it came to any investigations. i don't see anything from any of the people that are pointing toward justice and understanding if something happened then making it known to the american people and letting justice serve. none of these people seem to be concerned about any of that whenever it is not just joe biden. any executives in washington, when they are involved, it becomes sound bites and no information gets anywhere. >> todd: assuming for argument sake, this does lead to something, the document shows 5 million arrangement for exchange of money for policy decision, with vp and the foreign national. what charges and consequences
2:07 am
could joe biden face? >> this is a very interesting question because if it was todd, if it were you or carley or myself, the fbi would be looking at this and we would be already be doing preliminary, it was 2020, preliminary investigation would have been done if the source is credible, would have opened investigation and look for evidence of structuring and different charges brought against them. number of charges that could be brought against us. when we look at the president or executives in washington, d.c., those charges seem to never come to the surface and actually stick to anyone. look at hunter biden and all the things lobbied against him, that have been shown to be true and nothing has occurred. nothing, no accountability
