something surprising, chris sununu, governor of new hampshire, last week said i'm 61% decided whether or not i'm going to run. so by announcing he will not run for the white house, he's written an op ed in the "washington post" today and essentially he says he will do everything in his power to make sure donald trump does not win. he wrote, current polls indicate donald trump is the top contender, he did not deliver while in office and added 8 trillion to national debt. sununu said he would be more effective as governor of new hampshire and will endorse the candidate who has best chance of winning. he will have more credibility speaking out as non-candidate than somebody running.

newt gingrich sat down with ainsley and talked about the state of the republican field and said this in fox square. >> well, somebody breaks through, it will be trump. it is like there are two lakes, huge trump lake and every time new candidate comes in, gets bigger in terms of candidate, not votes. somebody figure out how to take trump straight on. desantis, for somen ra, his campaign, has not caught fire, people keep announcing. if desantis were dominating the non-trump field, folks wouldn't be running, you may end with 10 or 15 candidates. >> brian: for people saying trump can't win, that is wrong, let this play out. almost everyone agrees he could win the primary, he believes he can't win the general.

what is amazing, with the baby, you will see trying to do that and people sitting aside. this has so much to do with the danny penny story. do you remember what the lady daniel penny, the subway attacker said, next time someone actses strangely, ask them what is wrong, how can i help you. do you think going up to that woman, how can i help you would have worked in the end? that is a violent person who wanted to destroy people's lives and thankfully the cops got there to stop her. what did she shy when being carted off. hey, nobody died. she can do that stuff. he has probably already been released. she went in for observation, they figured out if she was healthy. >> brian: my observation, not healthy. >> ainsley: what happens when she comes to your train car, you
