10:00 pm
kevin . wh one while watching the gamo'e. who's winning? no idea. real milk. >> real delicious. >> real delicious. and don't forget to try some delicious, creamy lactaid ice cream. >> what's that? >> what's that? maplcow! >> hmm. wow. smokeout. how . hello and welcome to fox news tonight. i'm harris faulkner. are we ready for what's coming our way? >> yes, we'll hold the line. you know me. i'm optimistic. i'm also a realist. communist china would love to be the most powerful nation in the world and kill anybody who prays differently or not at all. and the way our white house and current administration are acting, they just might get the chance, not because they're better than we are, but because a few of us have
10:01 pm
decided at the sacrifice to be america is too great for them. well, i have news for the cowards. without america, the whole world would be different. faith in god , integrity, patriotism, bravery are all ingrained in america's bloodstream. and when tough times come and they always have, they will again. we've always been ready to lead and take out our enemies if we need to . the enemy of today may be different than it was in years past, but one truth remains. we must be the america that leads the world. now, china knows this, and tonight is a perfect time to remind our enemies that, yes ,we do have some problems, but we are not going away. we don't quit. on this tuesday night, we mark the seventy ninth anniversary of d-day in world war two .
10:02 pm
fact, europe would not have been liberated without american sacrifice. my faith guides me to know the truth that there was a divine anointing back then and still now on our great nation, the lord has blessed us with a divine assignment that makes america necessary to humanity. communist china hates this. that's because china's despot, she but she jingping can never lose sight of our seemingly endless potential and importance. someone please tell president joe biden this the next time he gives a billion dollars to russia and china entities, including one point six million to chinese food producers. that money recently was supposed to help our own american farmers like john boyd jr.. >> well, you know, it's a real slap in the face here. hey, you have american farmers losing their farms.
10:03 pm
and right here in the united states of this last year, alone, we lost over ten thousand farms in the united states . >> and this administration has done nothing but give us a broken promises. >> so right now, we're losing our homes in america and this administration is giving money to chinese producers of russia hand over fist. what does that say to america's farmers right here at home? why can't we help america's farmers at home? >> first, a great question. what i would say you are our strength, john . boy, junior, and all those like you . i mean, we can't live without eating. we have to protect our own. we can't show weakness or allow the left to choose anyone over americans . we must be ready for anything. and let's remember this day, june 6th, back in nineteen forty four europe swarmed by hitler's war machine. the great usa, finally jumping in and leading the allies
10:04 pm
the truth. we weren't quite ready for that enemy that day. us paratroopers and soldiers stormed normandy to expel the germans and free france. a lot of things went wrong on d-day, especially for us . we were the first to launch that invasion. thousands of us paratrooper died during their drop behind enemy lines that utah beach shot out of the sky. the omaha offensive turned out to be the bloodiest of the day, largely in part because army intelligence was not great. it badly underestimated the german stronghold there. general omar bradley, who led the omahaw forces, nearly considered abandoning the entire operation. but we didn't quit. we sacrificed and we moved on with bravery and god, we trusted that he had us and he did. in addition to the allied deaths, we lost thousands of americans on d-day. but we gained something,
10:05 pm
the blessing of our shedding our grace and freedom with the world . we proved america is exceptional and our exceptionalism belongs to each of us . it's inside of us . it's our shared history. we sacrifice and then we move on through our bravery toward freedom. over and over. and sometimes we make dangerously bad decisions like pandemic lockdowns and keeping our own children home from schools when a virus was hurting them. far less often than adults. you know, we didn't actually close schools in nineteen eighteen during the spanish flu pandemic. we didn't even have penicillin back then. we did sacrifice. we suffered. but then we pressed on . our enemies hate us for surviving, but they would love to be like us . while the u.s. has not always agreed as a nation on how to help others fight off communism, communism and other political plagues around the world, we always send
10:06 pm
the best among us to give other people a fighting chance. in the nineteen sixties, vietnam was facing a communist annihilation. my dad served two combat tours there as a pilot. before he left this earth, i was blessed to record my dad for my first best selling book, nine rules of engagement. military brats, guide to life and success. and i want to share a little bit of that with you. let me set it up so my dad was off duty for a night, asleep in his barracks in vietnam. suddenly, eighth division was under attack. he and others fled the barracks and began to run mortars blowing up around them. the base was taking heavy hits . dad had to get to the command bunker and get fighters into the sky. and when it was over, he was injured. doctors told he could go home and get a purple heart and he said he was a little softy. screw that. i'm still alive. and the next time i'll be flying. not in my bunk bunk, scrambling on the ground.
10:07 pm
he used to say being an american comes with responsibilities and expectations. he used words a lot like service and love and passion and freedom. in my dad's own voice, lieutenant colonel bobby harris ,and how freedom made him a soldier. i think i understand. oh, freedom in the first place. >> and i certainly understand how this country is outfitted to declare that it is a free country. it's because of that that because it's been changed a few times, but it's been caused because those old guys that i don't know where they got their smarts from, but they were smart enough to write that constitution. and if you read that thing
10:08 pm
and if we can live to it, this is , i think, about the freest nation you're ever going to see . >> i don't think you'll ever see another. life was not perfect in the 60s in this country, but i heard my dad no place like in the united states of america. but this great land is changing and we need a strategy stronger than best wishes. today, we learned another corporate giant is joining in the money game to get people addicted to something new . virtual reality a.i.. the newest device costs three thousand five hundred dollars to hang out in some sort of suspended animation and virtual reality. i can tell you this parts real china, russia, iran, north korea, it means to them that we are weak, ready to be discounted. look at this video. imagine a not too distant
10:09 pm
future where millions of americans will be stationary and controllable or they'll be so converted by crime and drugs that they will continue to fall into a stupor high on anything they can smoke or put in their arms. it's already happening. the country is changing and some want us as individuals to change right along with it or get out of the way. but let's decide right now that we will not go quietly for me. >> i would suggest we gather in churches and temples where good meaning folk pray and work together. we must decide to be ready for anything and that requires that we all be at least awake with our eyes uncovered, not with this plastic fake world devices. all of this makes election day twenty , twenty four dynamically important a quote about us . america will remain the land of
10:10 pm
the free only so long as it is the home of the brave. american journalists. elmore davis said that he was the director of the u.s. office of war information during world war two . we have greatness in our bloodstream. the lord is on our side. we have to get our leadership right. >> whoever leads this nation must be ready to hold the line of this blessed land of freedom and hope. the list of contenders is growing, especially on the republican side. and it must be somebody who will do the job of making sure that the sacrifices were worthwhile and not squandered. let's meet one of them now. i welcome presidential candidate for the gop nomination, vivek ramaswamy. welcome . >> good to see you . good to see you , harris. thank you for sharing your story of your father. i appreciate that it was moving. thank you . you've got a story, too, and you want america to be part of your story.
10:11 pm
how do you hold the line? well, i think what i see in the country today, harris, is something very different than when those world war two soldiers of the united states actually landed normandy beach, then we had a cause and a purpose. but today, my generation and the first millennial ever to run for us president as a republican , my generation is hungry for purpose and meaning and identity. we're starved for a cause. and so we turn to the poison instead. pick your favorite one , woke gizem transgenderism climate tism conservatism. the list goes on , but sometimes we focus on that too much. those are just symptoms of our deeper black hole, our void of purpose and meaning. and i think what we need to do, harris, is what you began to talk about. fill that void of purpose and meaning with what it actually means to be an american today. let's answer that question. answer it with pride, without
10:12 pm
apology. that's what young people, all people across this country are hungry for. let's deliver that answer of what it means to be an american . let's stop just running from something. we are running to something. once we restore that, we actually restore that civic pride that this day is all about celebrating. vivec, i've been hearing you talk really the last couple of days about china and it it is pretty remarkable the devices that are coming our way that are going to anesthetize people to reality. but i'm curious to get your take now on what the biden administration, what particularly this president is doing with regard to really what's turned out to be our greatest enemy . >> yes. so i think that the number one enemy for the united states is absolutely communist china. i think the first thing we need to do is actually declare economic independence from china. if that had been a chinese spy balloon traveling over half, they'd have been a russian spy balloon, traveling over half the united states . we would have shot it down instantly. and ratcheted up sanctions against russia. the reason we didn't in part
10:13 pm
because it was a chinese balloon, is because we're dependent on our enemy for our modern way of life. and that's a threat we haven't faced in our history. so that's the number one problem here. and then the number two problem is i think we're focused on the wrong wars actually driving through the ukraine war. russia into china's hands. and i think that russia, china alliance is the single greatest military threat that we face. and harris, as commander chief ,that's my top foreign policy priority, is to drive that wedge between russia and china like nixon did in nineteen seventy two . i think we can do it in reverse this time. again, real quickly, because i want to press on what you're saying about ukraine. that is that is such a a sticking point for so many people politically in this country right now. some people don't want to touch it at all. they don't know what to say about it. and others say that we're being lied to about it. well, look, actually , we are being lied to in a very literal sense. the biden administration today, "the washington post" is reporting new that ukraine
10:14 pm
was actually planning to bomb the nord stream pipeline, knowing that even three months beforehand, the biden administration then called it effectively pin the blame on putin and said it was an intentional act of aggression. so the lies are now mounting up lies, including about even having u.s. troops on the ground. but i think it's the wrong priority. i'm focused on china. that's where our focus needs to be. all right. i'm going to let you go with this. the rnc just put out its qualifications for the debate. right now. you're on track to make the debate stage. you're in the top five in the last fox news polling at four percent. your last quick thought? well, we're on that debate stage, actually qualified over three months before the actual debate was set. and i think that's going to be good for our party. i'm not going to be holding back . we're going to define the agenda that's good for the republican party and good for the country. and i'm looking forward to august. vivek ramaswamy, thank you . good to hear that glass. >> house republicans are finally moving to hold fbi director christopher wray in contempt of congress.

10:20 pm
well, even if you run the fbi, you can't just ignore a subpoena. doctor or director christopher wray subpoeistopher is about to findt the hard way house republicans will begin contempt proceeding s against him later this week. ray has repeatedly refused to give up the goodsedly r to president biden. republicans say there is a givni document which implicates biden in a criminal bribery ring. we've known that for a few weeks, but we don't have've knot the dock f and now they're finally going to go after ray if they find him guilty. of withholding that evidence, he could go to prison.. the director of the fbi, e chairman of the house oversighth t cocommittee, james ohmar, is . me now. you .so see so first of all, will you u get an unredacted document by goingment after christopher r wray? >> well, that's what we're. asking for. that's what the subpoena says. it it's very specific.. it's a very small document. and at the very top ofs "u the document, itnc says unclassified in big, bold lette
10:21 pm
letters. ther not here's really noe's no reasr the fbi not to hand this document over. so, chairman, what has beene ato the delay? i mean, werene p think i you bet one point i think i covered ita early in the day, a couple of weeks ago, that he wanted you christopher wray wanted you to walk over to the fbieah. and see it there. i mean, this has been a really , weird back and forth. well, even before that, he wouldn't even admit he hadk them the document. it a lon took them a long timet to admit they had the document who finally figured ou t that senator grassley and i both knew without a shadow oft th a doubt, that the documentving existed. then they finally admitted that tha document and they said that they would allow me and jamie sg raskin's to go in a classifiedea setting and review a redacted copy of the document. now, we all know what happened after we came out of that.re. we were in there for 90 minutes. not only did we review for 9 th3 the ten twenty three for that implicates joe biden in a potential bribery scheme.
10:22 pm
then they gave us a briefing. tn they told us things like there was an ongoing investigation in this document had been handed over to the investigator. e, and and then we walked right outside in jamie raskin's says things that just aren't true.ar he says that this was part of te rudy giuliani. . the document had something to do for rudy giuliani. that is a complete and bald h faced lie. he als reco said he didn't recal the fbi saying that the document was needed for an ongoing investigation. s part they said that four times that it was part of an ongoing investigation. so if if nothing else, christopher, we can thank jamie raskin for what's going to happen to him thursday morning. thu monine o'clock, unless he produces that document in the next twenty four . >> wow. 9 well, who's on the subpoena list now? :0 n thi'm sorry? o >> who's on the subpoena list now? justt christopher, right?us >> just one person. yes. you're looking at other thingsi . you've been working with thea whistle blower, so on and so forth. are there any other people s th?
10:23 pm
>> you want to bring in? >> we're going to bring inpeoplv a lot of people very soon that e pertain to a lot of differentree areas. asthe one missing piece before e start bringing people in forthat depositions and things like that is this form ten ,ence twenty three . because now because it's important evidence, because remember what it say what its i, this dates back from twenty , twenty all the way back to twenty seventeen. the the bribtoe, the bribert he alleges that he gave a bribe to the vice president and het to did through various banks and various shell companies. that's exactly what we've uncovered. >> owhat we presentehad to the i american people happened in romania. estingoh, interesting.st the so you're going to match what you have learned against the actual evidence and like catch story. you're going to put overlae y a one last one . >> when will people see well, the evidence? ence. well, we've been presenting evidence. we've been presenting bank records that show wyrsch from china were then laundering
10:24 pm
through shel tl companies that went down to buy. and we showed that bidenugh shel received money less than two weekl compans after he lefta while he was vice president . that went through shell companies. that was anies fueled funneled down to te biden. so we're following the money, harrison. you know, there' we'rs a lot of money there, many more bank accounts. and this is an important park at of our investigation. if christopher wray doesn't turn over that document, is heig going to gation.o to prison? ii well, that's up to christophert wray. i know thathatt i wouldn't want >> to be held in contempt of congress and end up in prison being the former head of the fbi. look, this is a simple requestse . it's not a classified document. they acted like it didn't eventt exist. so just just hand the document c over. chairman culmer, thank you . we look forward to seeing whatud s unfolds at the end of this week. great to have you on the program. thank you . serie someone set off a series of underwater explosions and destroyed the nord streapims pipelines in the baltic sea.y ru those lines carry russian gas to europe. hanew that with the biden administration have a reason
10:25 pm
to lie about who attacked thoseb pipelines. well, it's becoming increasingly clear that who y knew who did it. a report ind "the washington post" found knoe the united states had advance knowledge of a ukrainian plan to attack the pipelines months before those explosionthossew tt happened. joe biden and his administration knew the trututh but decided to gaslight ane american people anyway. and at the time, the biden administration and the biden friendly mediaedia bla blamed ra for the attacks. they wanted you to believe tha t ovssia destroyed its own pipeline that served as leverage over the europeanio nations that helped powerth anyone who questioned the u.s. government's official narrative was publicly o accused of spreading russian propaganda. but now many of those osindividual people, like vibert f. kennedy jr., must feelnd vindicated at this pointa he and i talked at length four days ago. >> some about ukraine, we'red on
10:26 pm
being told that story about a the ukraine war, that we'res over there as a humanitarianit's mission. but it's been it's become it' clear that that or that there's another agenda behind or thatust it's about regime change. it's about exhaustin whag the russians. ell, >> and what do you think the president is not being honest about one , about the the death count and the ukraine? th you think the president off how many -- >> i didn't say the pr the united states is lying about how many people like the president? >>n't kni don't know what the pt knows, but his i administrationn i think the and and thee pentagon are not being honest with the american people aboutus the sacrifices of ukrainians. and i think that ukrainiann in is also being honest. >> let's listen in on thisopinio one . literally heard from the washington times. he's the opinion editor,n ed charlie, good to see you . first of all, your take on what robert f. kennedy jr. just said about this government under biden and what it's saying about ukraine. e's bein
10:27 pm
he's being a little too mannerly for my taste. i'll take iti' a step further. joe biden is lying. the administration is lying about the ukrain e war.where you and this is , of course, what happens in an atmosphere wherepa you don't even have a presss qus someths asking the most obviousi questions about something likeeh a very important issue, like the ukraine war, the liee son become more and more absurd and ridiculous. and you have a situation , l as you just pointed out, whereie tht only did the administration lie aboue nord st the about then stream pipeline, they knew allew along who blew up. they lied about it. they tried to claim that russia did it. already known but not only that, they haitdo already known it was going to happen three months before we now learn, which kind o wfm makes partially culpable as the on inr one ally to ukraine the war. and here's the other thing. i think it'sk is really importa- to keep track of is the facting that not only obviously blowing up the pipeline was damaging to russia, but it was also damaging to germany and lots of
10:28 pm
other nato allies that arep ukrn helping trying to help ukraine in this war. and so it raises a really important question, to what degree did ukraine reason commil harm to you to to its allies in an effort to sort of blackmail and get more support fort more their war? >> wow, that is a lot. and at the same time, you havepe people dying over there. robert f. kennedy jr. says a number is probably closer to three hundred and fifty thousand. i mean, real quicklynuly close o your thoughts on going forward and all of this? because it's not thathist you dt have a heart to help people,e but the truth is necessary. yeah, well, it's a very diffi difficult situation that we've got ourselves into. tha and i think it's very important to remember that it waits joe biden's insane, ridiculous environmental policies that allowed this war to start in the first place. charlie hurt, always great to get your perspective expertise. ha right. thank you rris, harris.>>.welco. you too. america is rapidly climbing
