ron desantis's team according to axios believes voters are more angry and conservative than they were in 2016 and they think that issue for swing voters are cultural issues as opposed to the economy, that is his platform for his campaign. what do you think about that? >> tudor: those are tough issues, it is easier to run on issues that are more black and white, the economy, foreign relations, that type of stuff. this brings out people on both sides, you're risking bringing out people who don't understand it, but are passionate. >> carley: it is going to be a long campaign. >> todd: glad you mentioned age, one child in the group was eight, the other two are 11, allowing them to make life-altering decisions. thank you for joining us,

and options are the name of the game and we've been about this for 500 years and want to expand options to those who need it. >> carley: public funding is issue for the attorney general, hes it violates the oklahoma constitution and says in part the approve af of publicly funded religious school is contrary to oklahoma law and not in the best interest of taxpayers. it is disappointing board members are funding religious schools with tax dollars, exposing themselves and state to potential legal action that could be costly. you are facing legal charges from separation of church and state advocacy groups. >> all due respect to attorney general, he is at odds with the supreme court precedence. state does not need to fund

private schools, but if they choose to do so, they cannot go against religious schools, we are relying on supreme court precedence. >> carley: when will the school be up and run something >> depends what happens in the courts, if the court does not block, we will open in fall of '24 with 500 students and expand from there. >> carley: do you think this opens up the door for more taxpayer funded charter schools? how does that change education in our country? >> i think it possibly will and if that happens, what we'll see is further expansion of school choice, a trend we've seen over the last few years. parents are demanding more options and states like oklahoma

wait times over security. >> these challenges have left the men and women on the front lines of this crisis overwhelmed and stretched to their limits. >> we were in a bus. there were 90 or so poem from cuba, men one border patrol agent. one female border patrol agent. i asked them how things are going. they tell me it ain't going good. i said well, what do your colleagues feel? >> well, they feel like they have been abandoned by this administration. >> you saw congressman andy biggs speak at that hearing and he joins us now. congressman, good morning to you. the hearing yesterday was focused on morale of border patrol agents because of the crisis at the southern border and the department of homeland security inspector general was a witness so what did you learn about the challenges cbp and ice are facing right now because of what is going on at our border? >> well, you know, they are

being overwhelmed. we are at a crisis level, still, about 4,000 or 5,000 people a day being apprehended plus the got aways. what is happening is these agents are overworked. they are understaffed. you will see them being -- given temporary duty in different work stations. they will go for a while and come back. they will be sent again. i have been down in del rio. i have seen. so facilities that they have to temporarily stay in. when they are on temporary duty. not so great. so, ultimately, they feel betrayed by this administration. they simply want to enforce the law. the result is the morale is really, really sagging and some of the agents i have talked to recently tell me they have never seen it more low, morale lower across the entire southwest border of agents. >> todd: you wonder how much more these individuals can take before an actual critical mass quits in mass. the g.o.p. led house oversight

panel will meet tomorrow to hold a hearing on christopher wray contempt of congress. congressman biggs, why is christopher wray risking his career and quite frankly his freedom. you get thrown in jail for being in contempt of congress. all an effort to help the biden family. i don't get it? >> yeah. i mean, that's the mystery. but i think that he doesn't feel ultimately like he is going to be held responsible. they have a massive amount of disrespect for congress. and is he demonstrating that but, here's the deal. we might hold them in contempt. but we have to refer that over to the department of justice. and i think his good buddy merrick garland is not going to engage in a criminal prosecution. he knows that the ratio found in contempt is really low. so, he feels absolutely very little threat. the better approach -- i mean, we need to hold him in contempt
