up in california. officials in florida said they sent them on aircraft. and we have got this video that shows these migrants signing waivers, officials are telling us that these are waivers where these migrants say they are going voluntarily west. but that is not so, according to california's governor gavin newsom, he tweeted, ron desantis, you small pathetic man, this isn't martha's vineyard. kidnapping charges? and then he attached to his tweet the kidnapping statute. that's his officials here at the white house look at the immigration picture broadly and they dispute the things are that bad, at least relative to a few weeks ago. >> what i can speak to is what we have seen these past couple of weeks since title 42 has been lifted. we have seen -- we have seen legal migration go down -- go down significantly. and that's because of the plan that this president has put

problems. jeff flock, from our sister network fox business is live in the filly area with more on this. when did we run out of transformers over the past year or. so you are right, steve, it hasn't gotten a lot of attention. what's a transformer? you have all seen them they are up -- excuse the noise as the ground crew came out of course in perfect timing. they are on poles all across america. what they do is sort of tamp the power down so that it can go into your house. you know, because it comes on big high transmission lines. most of the existing stuff is the transformers overhead but if you get a new development, they tend to put the transformers or the electric in the ground so the transformers are what they call pad transformer, the problem is this now, there used to be maybe, i don't know, three or four week wait to get these things now, take a look at the numbers. we got them. last year took as long as four months to get a transformer.

like i think it just favors donald trump you have this many people running. that's okay if people want to decide to put their hat in the ring. i will tell you this, republican voters do want to make sure we have a strong nominee. i think that's president trump. at the end of the day, a crowded field does favor him let's be clear. >> steve: congressman gimenez jimenez right now in the polls donald trump is leading substantially, although the ron desantis camp has put out two axios, some of their internal polling that shows they are now within 10 points of each other in iowa who would you say is the most formidable challenger to donald trump as of today. >> i would have to say it's the governor. governor desantis at this point it's a two-person race. it's between donald trump, the former president and governor desantis. everybody else is in single digits. and unless they breakthrough somehow, i don't see it changing in any way, shape, or form.

about your profession, already knowing things about your colleagues and your stuff. one of the things people always forget about this the shear training involved in a young person starting off their career working with colleagues being in the office, getting in the office environment and learning things you can't just learn from a spreadsheet and much of that is lost. >> think about during the pandemic when we were all -- we had home studios and we were doing our show in triple boxes and steve was in one spot and brian was in another. i'm sure you were. >> yeah. >> i was remote. yeah. >> ainsley: you felt detached a little bit. >> absolutely. >> ainsley: felt like you weren't as productive. i needed to be in the office. i enjoyed some aspects. great to be with there with my daughter when she was learning from home. we were in pajamas. it could teach a lazier, to be ally with the more lazy, too see that in city hall in new york the mayor has been trying to work with public sector

workers. their week being inverted where they go into the office for two days a week and the rest of the week they are at home. we have completely flipped, speaking of the public sector the working week. >> ainsley: happier less stressful? if you are -- let's say you are in the banking sector and driving into the city. commuting an hour. in leaving your family in long island, you commute in, and you get to stay home later on mondays or don't go work on friday and work from home. >> sure. we have got to remember as well. that all has effects. of the price of commercial real estate in new york in manhattan has in the last few years. that's an effect. look at the small businesses that relied on office workers going and getting their lunch five days a week. some of those have closed or been suffering because of this. so all of this yes, there is a degree in some -- in some roles where life can be slightly improved for the worker but it's

not just about that. it's about the idea of a striving, five day a week you know office environment where people are learning from each other. where they're interacting. where it's not just about the drudgery of the idea that going into work is some kind of hassle compared to the five day weekend the people have been enjoying there are consequences from. this i think martha stewart is absolutely right to talk about our competitors. france is a country where there is i have to say it i love france but it's a great place to go on holiday. it's not a great place to innovate. it's not a great place to work and not a great place to go and further your chances in life. america has been and one of the reasons is our work environment. >> ainsley: you ask anyone from europe and why do you love america so much and they always say you can -- anything is accomplished here. the american dream is possible here. you can work really hard and you can buy a house that is three stories if you want. to say. >> right. >> ainsley: you can't do that. >> part of that dream is it goes
