10:09 am
is, do they rush to trump's defense or they lean into the charges and the seriousness with which he has been charged? >> i think it plays -- if the alvin bragg indictment is any indication of how this will play, it only helps strengthen president trump. if you look at the numbers he continued to go up in the polls in the gop primary and after the alvin bragg indictment in manhattan, showed abc poll that trump was leading biden 49-42 which really shows why biden doj and others have gone and targeted president trump here because he's leading political opponent and 70% of voters say it's heading in the wrong direction. this really does raise questions
10:10 am
not only double standard, and also questions double standard with joe biden. we found out earlier this year he had classified document that is he stalled that he was not authorize today have, had no legal precedent as the vice president or senator to ever declassify those documents so clearly looks political, the american people can see through that, lady justice is supposed to be blind and right now looks like she's wearing a biden 2024 t-shirt. griff: is there apprehension of democrats attacking for fear it can come back on president biden, of course, there is an independent special counsel looking into him not by jack smith but robert hurd. that's nowhere near to coming to a conclusion any time soon. >> well, i don't think democrats need to get distract bid --

10:13 am
center until donald trump got indicted. now is this the bigger issue? >> i think it's bigger issue about the primary. this is bellwether for primary voters when donald trump has 53% follow the polls and others are trying to get part with that. if you're siding with the biden doj political witch hunt of donald trump and condemning trump there's really not that much room to succeed here because a lot see as political what's happening with hillary clinton, joe biden now, his handling of documents. so they are going to see that as political. in the general election if the economy is an issue, i think this will also be an issue, it'll be tough to criticize donald trump on documents because of the own special counsel investigation to him and he wasn't the president when he handled the documents. donald trump is absolutely destroying joe biden head to head with handling the economy in the polls.
10:14 am
griff: jose, we see inflation seems to be plateauing a little bit although mainstream americans are feeling it. the administration has status to make strong argument for the economy heading into the campaign season yet president biden in addition to documents also facing serious scrutiny from the likes of james comer and the oversight committee on this alleged bribery scandal. are democrats having trouble sending their message out? >> sure, look, under the investigation so far all we have seen is hearsay. there hasn't been any really evidence. they keep pushing about this document that they wanted the committee to see. they've seen the document, we will wait for congress to do presser and talk to the american people of what happened with this document, what does it involve. so far joe biden has done nothing wrong. i don't think comer will take anything out of this other than
10:15 am
taking taxpayer money and i don't think there's really nothing more. joe biden should continue to talk to the american people to show he's the best candidate in 2024. griff: is this allegation is a distraction and do you think they want to hear more about border issues or does it matter to them? >> well, president trump and other candidates are talking about the other issues too. these are obviously things that come up. in terms of this, this is a real big issue not only for republican voters but the american people. there's an fbi that had to not only be a threat of obviously a subpoena but for chris wray to be held in content of congress for him to produce that which is really a very unprecedented step there that he wouldn't produce until that step happened. now, if this allegation is coming from a credible source that fox news reported, this
10:16 am
isn't scam thing. there's allegation that joe biden allegedly was part of a 5 million-dollar bribery scheme with barisma that hunter biden sat in the board of and certainly the american people will want to know, if the president was part of bribery scheme and th that will blow status. griff: have a great weekend. jacqui. jacqui: van der sloot pleads not guilty to extortion and defrauding hallway's family, van der sloot set foot in american soil. charlecharles watson is followie
