more information. bu t unfortunately, that is all alw the time we have left this evening. >> as always, than youk you for tuning in and making the show possible. don't forget, set your dvr. t never miss an episode. in the meantime, let not your heart be troubled. laura ingraham tro "ingraham an" is next. we'll see you. busy news night tomorrow night night eagle from washington tonight. my angle in moments, but first they wanted today to be all about former president trump's miami arrangement. now the coverage it was kind of reminiscent of o. j and the white bronco take you to these pictures. now, as we can see, that appears to be president trump who just entered that vehicle that we're seeing president trump in that suv former president trump in that suv looking right there at the suv. we'll wait and see what happens over the next minute or so. see if we can tell who's
12:01 am
getting out. donald j. trump coming out of ah, the car there , the suv going up the steps. and did you know that this was extremely historic. tomorrow remarkable moment in u. s history will unfold the first ever arraignment of a former president in federal court historic and unprecedented. we've never seen a former president sit in federal court at the defendant's table. soon he will take off for florida and for history. and of course, a day like this would not be complete without disgraced former fbi officials passing judgment on their favorite target. our system is not based on you know, we don't play by organized crime rules. it's not you take out one of my guys. i take out one of your guys, that's all equal. i think what we know about donald trump is his approach to businesses approach to politics as a person person in a personal relations. it is a constant pursuit of advantage might guess and it's speculation is
12:02 am
that he saw in this material information that might be useful to him at some point in the future. where is the disclaimer? you're listening to a liar when he comes on, but then a few hours ago, republican senator chuck grassley stepped onto the senate floor. he completely upended. official washington. from what i've been told by folks who have reviewed it at the foreign nationals who allegedly bribed joe and hunter . biden allegedly has audio recordings of his conversation with them. 17 such recordings. 15 audio recordings of phone calls between him and hunter biden. according to the 10th. 23. the foreign national possesses two audio recordings. phone calls between him and then vice president joe biden. these recordings were allegedly kept as he sort of insurance policy for the foreign nationals in case that he got
12:03 am
into a dice part. grassley hasn't heard the tapes himself , but he's not a guy known to reach for hyperbole at the drop of a hat, so these allegations have to be taken very seriously. joining us now is house judiciary committee chair jim jordans. house oversight committee member byron donald and mollie hemingway, editor in chief of the federalist fox news contributor. congressman donald let's start with you since you've viewed the document that grassley's actually referencing there. is there anything that, he said in those comments on the senate floor? that doesn't kind of pan out from what you've seen. laura good to be with you. look i think everything that senator grassley says does pan out because the document does state that the barista executive actually has receipts. that's all it says that he has information, but you just don't know what the information is. and then the other piece that definitely pans out is that they moved the money through through several accounts that would take investigators 10 years. to find that is the
12:04 am
motives. upper run die of the biden family. one of the whether the money comes from china, romania, and now it's looking like ukraine. they move it through all these llcs through all of these accounts, and it ends up in the hands of the family. and by the way, i will add this. joe biden likes to say that the rich need to pay their fair share. well, hey, joe, did you pay your taxes on that five mil? i don't think you did. molly let's go to you on this. i mean, this is amazing. it's a case of incurious journalists who are covering trump's every movement again like it's you know, 1994 and it's o. j. you know, with kato kaylin waiting in the wings somewhere, and yet we have bank accounts. we have someone like grassley, making these claims based on what he understands of this record. and yet, where's the abc? nbc? where's the coverage? well and you really have two big stories that the media should be looking into. one is yes, the biden family business where we
12:05 am
learned today from senator grassley that the foreign nationals had 17 recordings to involving the vice president or claim to have those and we also heard from that that senator grassley said that joe biden was involved in getting hunter biden on the breeze. my board both of those are explosive things. but what's also explosive is what senator grassley is really focusing on. which is the fbi. i did not do a good job of receiving this information and investigating it. they began to investigate it. and then when it looked bad for the biden family, they did everything in their power to hide it and keep it from being fully investigated. that is such a scandal, given that what we're talking about is the fbi meddling once again in a presidential election on behalf of a preferred candidate, and against the one that they oppose, and all of this, of course, is happening as they are literally trying to imprison their top political opponent. ah yeah, congressman jordan's, uh, one of the other networks. they're making this fanciful claim that you can't draw any equivalence between
12:06 am
biden and trump's cases. watch this. we've been kind of living in this world throughout the course of any investigation of former president trump says. what about the bidens? is that a fair? analog. i don't think we are talking about an apples to apples comparison here, so no, it's not a fair analog in that nobody in these cases has been stashing hundreds of documents with classified markings e in a bathroom. congressman jordan your response to that. well when you got three people who got classified document concerns that you know, supposedly mishandled clinton, biden and president trump and only one gets indicted. how is that justice? how is that equal application of the law? americans have common sense. they see this double standard that exists for republicans and conservatives and for president trump, for goodness sake, but i can't get past the irony. laura the irony that i remember when jim comey said. i hope there are tapes when he's talking about him. and now it looks like we have tapes, for
12:07 am
goodness sake that this guy kept the other thing about that document. i read that document last week to the section byron was referencing about this foreign nationals who who's an executive charisma. he also says in that section we will, he tells tells the confidential human source. we don't need anything nothing to worry about. because we have so many bank accounts. it'll take forever to figure it out. and he also says we never paid the big guy directly. so now we know this is the second person to use that term. he uses that term before we knew about the first guy. james gilyard, a business associate of hunter biden, when we learned about that in october, 2020 this document was put together in august of 2020. so now we've got both sides of the equation. using the same term, the big guy and if the big guys, not joe biden, somebody needs to explain to me who it is. so that's that's the part of them. from the document. i took away his wow, that is the most compelling that evidence. i think that shows how this is connected to the president of the united states. this is why this document in the end does need to be made public, so the
12:08 am
whole country gets to see it. all of it has to be declassified. especially congressman donald, since we're fighting a proxy war in ukraine right now, we also and i'm going to get to this my angle. we also have serious concerns about whether we're able to take on china now, given our depletion of munitions, we're gonna get into that in a moment. so we have these big geopolitical challenges and perhaps money going from two big geopolitical forces to the biden family. this is i mean, and we're talking about documents in a bathroom. i'm not saying those aren't important, but come on. we got money from foreign countries. you're absolutely right. one quick thing. laura this f this fbi doc 10 23 is not a classified document. they made us review it in the skiff. but that document is not classified . that's number one number two. i find it highly ironic that none of this ever sees the light of day with any of the members of the press, but the second they get a transcript of an audio recording. it is now
12:09 am
leaked to the entire press. i thought that leaking information in a criminal investigation i was against the law. that's what i heard and long time ago. i thought that's illegal as well. but here's the last point you're making a key point. the president and the president's family and i stress the president and the president's family have been shaken down foreign companies and foreign countries for a long time. don't tell me that joe biden is not compromised by the fact that his family has gotten millions and millions of dollars through all these dummy shell corporations that they set up in his life. last year and a half as vice president. they set it up on purpose for this exact thing, and i think it's time that a special counsel is brought forward to investigate this the same way they have the zealous prosecution of president trump. molly just to continue on with that the national security implications of a money trail through various shell corporations and accounts that make their way to biden family
12:10 am
inc. is that not significant? if this all pans out as we think it will, and i think it will. again we're talking. what's more important here? i'm not saying classified documents and where they're stored isn't important. i actually think it is important. but what's more important here for the future of america, the bathroom documents or what happened. what's happening with china and ukraine, and i think people remember that we had years of conspiracy theories about the previous president, supposedly being a victim of compromise that russian that russia had against him here you have an actual allegation from a credible whistleblower, saying that a foreign national has of compromise and the media like gosh, i don't really think there's anything here and i'm glad that representative donald's mentioned that this is not even a classified document , but christopher wray and the fbi are hiding it from the american people because it's embarrassing to the fbi that they did not investigated, and senator grassley made a very good point today, he said. this is the fbi that is leaking to the new york times classified information every day, but they
12:11 am
won't reveal an unclassified document to the american people . and so, yes, you care about classified information. a lot of americans have been killed. ring about classified information as everybody in the fbi was leaking like a sieve to the washington post in new york times fake controversies, but you don't hear the media, saying that they think the espionage act should be used against them or the people that they were working with to undermine the country. so we're seeing a lot of problems all across the board and congressman jordan. i know people watching us thinking we keep hearing these complaints all the time about the fbi been hearing this for years and the intel agencies when a republican is going to use the power of the purse and say, we're done you hear some of the presidential candidates ross ross swami, obviously trump and the santis. they all want to do something here, but now it's up to you all it sure is, and we will use the appropriations process. the first appropriation bill is going to pass next week out of the house, and then we have several others. we have to use the power of the purse and, frankly, what we also have to do. the reauthorization is up this year. we have to fundamentally change fight to
12:12 am
get the fbi to that program altogether. we're sick of the abuse that takes place there. so we have to do that. but in the end, laura the only thing that's going to change is when we have somebody new in the white house who put someone in charge of the justice department that will get rid of all this. we can do everything we can from from the legislative branch, and we're going to do that. we're going to change fizer. but in the end, you have to have an executive who says we will no longer have a justice department that targets we, the people that targets the american citizen. that is the only thing that's going to fix that. the press is going to cover it. we have to do it that way, and that's why elections are important. defund and new president both. how about a 12 punch panel? great to see you all right, president trump's going to be reined in a little under 18 hours from now and right on cue, the feds are suggesting there's trouble afoot. the fbi and the department of homeland security. they are keeping a close eye on posts that are being made on social media. you can see some sort of flimsy police stayed behind me. we've seen a few officers on patrol, but nothing like you would expect for historic hearing like this all the elements of
12:13 am
political radicalization to violence are in play here. i mean, how predictable they're desperately wanting some type of right wing violence. of course, no one should take the bait. do anything full this year? so what is tomorrow? actually going to look like? like you're not a walk us through it what to expect? former trump impeachment lawyer david shown. alright david, tell us about tomorrow. what can we expect? well it's really sort of a proof proforma proceeding, although i know there's a lot of hullabaloo around it because of who the defendant is. but president trump should show up and he'll be arraigned. in other words, they'll ask him. has he gone over the indictment with his lawyer? what he liked the indictment read in open court. he'll say no, he has gone over with his lawyer, but he doesn't need it. red. he'll plead not guilty. and the government may move for a motion schedule. the court might on her own set of motions schedule and they'll set his conditions of release. which, of course, you know it will be released and you know things will slow down a little bit. after that, i would imagine some motions to dismiss practice might be engaged in immediately, but otherwise it's pretty much you know by the
12:14 am
books. well they're desperate to try to get this trump appointed district court judge to recuse herself. i just laugh out loud every time i hear this conversation and an msnbc congressman, goldman said the d.o.j. should actually step in. yeah the d.o.j. was assigned to is a judge who has demonstrated unusual and somewhat lawless bias towards donald trump in favor of him. the department of justice will have to evaluate whether or not they would seek recusal and whether that judge would determine that there's at least an appearance of bias that would warrant her recusal. david how often do democrat appointed judges recused themselves and what grounds possibly is there in this case? there are no grounds whatsoever, and it's reckless for this guy goldman to say this, the guy's a lawyer, and he knows better, and he owes a duty to the public not to talk
12:15 am
that way. she the fact that she's appointed by president trump is of absolutely no moment and with respect to recusal who should who should sit over the case, a judge appointed by president biden, that would be more fair. she was picked by random selection. the government picked the palm beach division, which only has a couple of judge judges. in it, she would get the cases related case in any event and the decision that they are so critical of the decision that a neutral arbiter er should review the documents and that was reversed by the 11th circuit. but the hypocrisy here is astounding. you have people like joyce vans on msnbc and others. i'm sure like this guy goldman, who's who were attacking lawyers for suggesting the judge merchant in new york should be recused from that case. this is a guy who wasn't randomly selected. he was hand picked to sit on the trump organization case abandoned case and now the trump criminal case. he tried to encourage the witness reportedly in the trump organization case to testify against donald trump. and cooperate with the prosecution made contributions reportedly to political candidates, and but they're outraged that anyone would suggest he should
12:16 am
be recused. and there's a history in new york with a case from federal court saying that this hand picking of judges rather than random selection gives rise to the appearance of partiality. well it's about time sanity actually starts prevailing and all of these discussions, but i want to remind all these lawyers on tv. there's still officers of the court and you really can't be going on saying something is idiotic as they've been saying about this recusal. i mean, they know better, so it's disgusting. all right, um bill barr has been all over television. david making quite the forceful claims about donald trump watch. we have to wait and see what the defense says. and what proves to be true. if even half of it is true that he is toast. i mean, it's a pretty very detailed indictment, and it's very, very . and this idea of presenting trump as a victim here, a victim of a witch hunt. is ridiculous. yes, he's been a victim in the past, but this is
12:17 am
much different. quickly david your reaction. i think it's irresponsible for a former person who has the stature of former attorney general the united states to give lip service to the presumption of innocence. he has that business in the beginning, and then he talks about the nature. the indictment and indictment is nothing more than indictment that a prosecutor has written up after something has been presented to the grand jury that the prosecutor decided to present. we don't watch a trial, with only the prosecution putting on their case and then saying, oh, gee, the defendant must be guilty. the wall street journal. hardly a radical paper wrote today. a destructive trump indictment showing it's not the equal application of the law, and people have reason to believe it's partisan political attack. yeah we didn't need to hear. it's his toast. that was a little bit glib to say the least. david, thank you so much. now the pentagon's culprit for all the recruiting woes. what's to blame? well those pesky republican governors who don't want to allow gender mutilation. well, i wish i were kidding my angle
12:18 am

12:23 am
getting little coverage by pretend journalists locked on the trump indictment, conveniently to the exclusion of all of biden's disasters. like the fact that china is building a powerful spy post in cuba, just 100 miles from miami. no big deal. or that would probably lose a war defending taiwan against china right now, because we've sent so much of our own weaponry and munitions to ukraine, this from politico, the biden administration has been slow to respond to what's minimally required to prevent an indo pacific catastrophe, which is the need to rapidly build a better deterrent, especially new stockpiles of munitions that would convince china it could be too costly to attack taiwan. but do we even have the capacity to spit out munitions to make up for what we have sent to zelensky? a swift response may not be possible, in large part because of how shrunken the u. s manufacturing base has become since the cold war. ha hm. who warned about that decades ago?
12:24 am
well, buchanan, that's who and later people like myself and obviously, president trump. and remember when he warned about that what the pentagon did to him. yet despite these disturbing tales of american military decline, the white house they don't seem concerned. they have other priorities. welcome to the white house and happy pride. it was nice, doesn't it? okay? i love you guys. i'm so happy to be here. i just want to say what an honor and i know what a big deal it is that i'm here, the largest pride celebration the white house has ever had. now the extravaganza really began in earnest the week before where there wasn't any dancing, but the pitch was the same. to represent the department of defense at the 12th annual pride employee resource group events acknowledged the contributions of service members and
12:25 am
department civilians and the lesbian, gay, transgender and queer community. gender woman in the department of defense. i can personally attest to the importance of allies and advocacy the open inclusion of americans like me. combat ready transgender volunteers enhances our readiness, promotes innovation and fosters a culture of respect and understanding that makes the armed forces better. well unfortunately, things don't seem to be getting better. in fact, they're getting worse. the army will miss its recruiting target this year by a staggering 25. we are not going to make that goal. we are doing everything we can to get as close to it as possible. but we are going to fall short of that. now most other branches in recruiting mess as well. it's a full blown crisis, but the air force's answer to this. well, check out this tweet. that airman isn't saluting the american flag. but instead of standing in front of something
12:26 am
called the progress, pride flag. but will approaches like this help with enlistment and the deficit there? now we, of course, love all of our service members, no matter who they are, and are grateful for all of their patriotism and their service that wouldn't it be irresponsible not to question why our pentagon is spending so much time inventing imaginary enemies when we actually have real ones. lgbt q. plus another diverse communities. are under attack. just because they're different. hate for hate's sake . we must be prepared to confront any such challenge directly. service members do not die because the service shows pride, love and rainbows. service members don't die because they do. pride saves lives. now this pentagon supported message is clear any deviation from their worldview is a serious threat, and it
12:27 am
will be dealt with as such, and it will be stamped out. that includes laws duly passed by state legislatures to stop the sexual exploitation and indoctrination of schoolchildren. this is lieutenant general deanna bert from the space force more than 400 anti lgbtq. plus laws have been introduced at the state level. that number is rising and demonstrates a trend that could be dangerous for service members, their families and the readiness of the force as a whole. lieutenant general believes that u. s readiness will somehow be improved. concerned parents, including many vets. branded as haters. and who are those parents want commanding their sons or daughters in battle? a man is hostile to their values and beliefs as joe biden. we have some hysterical and i would argue prejudice. people who are engaged in all what you see going on around the country.
12:28 am
it's a it's an appeal to fear and its appeal that is totally thoroughly unjustified and ugly. these are our kids. these are our neighbors. it's cruel. now how exactly is this going to work and practice? does he and the other woke activist and his white house? do they not realize how much the military depends on the south and the midwest for its fighting force? now why does it seem like inclusion only works one way for these people. progressives want to do door military what they've done every other aspect of our culture. they want to poison it. the military was one of the last bastions of traditionalism left in america . and that fact wasn't part what made a career in the service so attractive to so many most served to defend the american way of life. they don't serve to host drag shows on military bases. the d o. d was shamed into having to announce that it would no
12:29 am
longer host drag shows that us military military installations to celebrate pride month. but don't consider this some big victory because the only reason those shows were canceled is because gop senators complaint . and clearly the top brass has spooked by all this activism about ready to sound really is in the future and modernization. i think the accusations of walker or a grocery overexaggerated, we're not awoke. army were already army constant drumbeat that we sometimes hear about a week. military awoke. military is a little bit of a negative drip drip drip that is undermining our recruiting. at a time where we really can't afford that. ah ah, so publicizing what they're actually doing with your tax dollars. that's the problem, not the world obsession itself. and not certainly not implying that half the country is bigoted if they disagree with their new approach. so the time has come for republicans to move past nostalgia. and start
12:30 am
to have an honest conversation about what's happened to the u. s. military what's happening now within the ranks of the military and its leadership. and what's going to happen to our mission and whether it's going to be compromised as a result. and that's the angle. joining me now is victor davis hanson, senior fellow at the hoover institution. victor i think a lot of americans will be shocked to have seen the video that we played in the angle just now, because you know they're busy. they're doing other things, a lot of things happening in people's lives. but do you think most americans realize that this in part is what their tax dollars are going to fund? i think they're starting to, and i think that's why the military is so paranoid and attacks the messenger rather than the deals with the message. and we know that, for example. the south has about 31% of the us population 40 to 45% depending on the branch of the military come from the south. but when
12:31 am
you have the chairman of the joint chiefs and the secretary of defense and the chief of naval operations go before congress and advocate reading professor kendis work, who says you have to be racist to counter act alleged racism and then blanketly condemns by implicit by implicit suggestion that there's white racism all through the ranks but doesn't supply any data. then you're turning off and you're accusing on justly a whole rubric a whole demographic that are overrepresented. and so of course, they're not going to continue to go and you know the military. laura keeps data on every aspect. racial data identity politics, data on every aspect promotion rank. uh task except the dead. and when you look at iraq and afghanistan over 70% were white males, that's double their numbers in the demographic, and they have told basically a whole section of the country. it's not just the south. it's rural america as well and 45%
12:32 am
of people that go into the military. identify as conservative they're saying, you know what we accuse you. we accuse you by implicit. racism or implicit sexism or transphobia. we're not going to bring any evidence and by the way you better keep you better keep enlisting because we need you in places like fallujah and taji and helmand province. that's where it's really messy , and that's where you people we'd like to send you. it's not just the recruitment that it's not just this recruitment policy. we have a problem with the very top lower. we have this revolving door where these generals who embrace woke, then the left gives them a pass and they used to be very hard on them when they go out of these top pentagon positions and four star billets, and then they go into what general dynamics raytheon and lucrative board. positions and lobby positions predicated on their woke conventions and people in the ranks. no, that and then when you have a system case now that
12:33 am
that the senate the u. s senate is really the problem here that republicans in the senate refused to take a really serious look at our pentagon budget, they will never even discussed. any type of modification to the budget. given what's happening the attack on rural america southerners, traditionalists, muslim americans, serious christians, catholics, they are attacking them with their with that message that we played bits and pieces of that's an implicit and sometimes explicit attack. absolutely the pentagon does exactly what silicon valley does. anytime you want to break up the monopolies, they say, hey, you conservatives, you believe in free free competition. you don't believe in government control. leave us alone in the pentagon says every time you put the spotlight on what they're doing, they said, don't you believe in a strong defense ? same with the fbi? they always go back to the republican base of support. when they're in the extremists , and they need the money, but
12:34 am
otherwise they appealed to the woke, at least the higher echelon does and you know, we've had all of these top officers that violated systematically section 88 of the uniform code of middle value justice and the last tenure of the last administration. we have four stars. some of our most illustrious officers go out and attack the commander in chief. right call him a coward. a liar , mussolini. he should resign sooner, the better and there was no consequences for calling china. i recall no consequences and that we gotta go. victor ranks say you know what? we yeah, they don't like that. emily was calling his counterpart in china, right? so this is all it all has to be re examined. but, victor thank you. great to see you. all right up next the tonys. will they go off script literally, and so does biden. raymond arroyo has it all seen nanceen is next. i see how pro starts working instantly with too many
