parliamentary procedure but what it does is upon introduction of the motion, once the member calls it forward then it forces a vote within two days. whether or not there are people trying to run interference for this president, the fact is exactly like you had stated earlier. exactly as we heard representative ogle say today with articles of impeachment and so many members have called for. the fbi has stonewalled us. trying to protect this administration. jesse what i have seen, what members of oversight has seen and what the american people deserve to know is this is definitely compromised president and what is he doing is he is selling his position and thus selling out the country. we have to hold him accountable. not tit-for-tat not everything to do with president trump but everything to do with corruption. >> jesse: next week possibly the house is going to vote to whether to move forward with impeachment? >> what i am saying is that there is a member. it is not me. it is a female member of congress that is going to bring

whether it's going to be done before we leave or whether it's going to be done at the start of next week. it will happen. and that's not the only thing, jesse. as you saw. the fbi is playing games and as you know if we do contempts of congress it's likely that the doj would not actually hold the fbi director accountable. what we can do as congress we can officially defund the director's position. that's also something we are looking at doing being the holman rule. >> jesse: does that mean he doesn't get paid his salary? >> that means we have effectively eliminated his salary and thus his position, yes. >> jesse: well, that might be hard for him to eat and i wonder if he changes his tune once you threaten to defund his salary. that seems to be the only thing making him do anything. if you do go forward with impeachment, congresswoman, what kind of subpoena power do you guys get? can you go after the bank records like this? can you bring in witnesses

quickly? , absolutely. the house launch a phase of it and hand over the actual vote for trial to the senate. but it would force senate to do just that. i know because i was actually researching this over the weekend. but the fact is that exactly like you're seeing, the fbi, i mean, we shouldn't have to threaten the director of the fbi with anything to get answers. and i do believe that the doj and the fbi will continue to cover so the only way to effectively run an investigation is for house judiciary or house oversight to clash, conduct the impeachment and thus give information over to senate. >> jesse: one of our best reporters here, hillary vaughn at fox down in d.c. asked a lot of members of congress about joe biden and the age factor. and the mental factor. listen to this. >> really quick question if i could. are you worried that president biden's health may -- his age may be finally catching up to

were donald trump? >> i would plead not guilty, i would get the best lawyer i could, and i would make my case to the american people that what's happening to me is a danger to you. uniformity of application of the law is dying in america. all the people that you played, joe scarborough in that crowd, i don't remember them saying one word about hillary clinton taking her staffer taking a hammer to a-to a blackberry that the government wanted and destroyed it, bleach bit to a hard drive to erase emails that was under subpoena. i don't remember anybody saying it was bad for anthony weiner to have on his computer classified information that was in control of hillary clinton equal justice under the law is lie dying in this country. i would have faith in the american people. the final verdict in this case, jesse, will not be in a courthouse in miami. this case will not go to trial to verdict before the election.

i think the final verdict will be by the american people in november of 2024. >> jesse: if it does go all the way to the supreme court on appeal, what do you think happens there? >> oh, attorney-client privilege has been destroyed here. there's a concept in the law you can't use a privilege to hide a crime. but the idea of a conversation between the attorney and his client has been pretty much destroyed here. espionage is ridiculous. they are charging the president under the espionage act. he did not commit espionage. he may have mishandled classified information, similar to what hillary clinton did, but the idea of charging him with espionage, i hope, goes all the way to the supreme court. there are a lot of legal issues in this case that will probably will go to the supreme court but this is not about so much the law as about who we are as a people. we are living in a country, if you are a democrat. and you are the secretary of

state, can you violate the hell out of a public records act you can destroy evidence under subpoena. you can allow information to get in the hands of a felon and nothing happens to you. we live in a country where the fbi altered evidence in the mueller investigation to convince a court that trump was something he was not and virtually nothing happened. remember the russian investigation where they wanted you to believe that donald trump wasco looting in the russians in 2016? the desire to get trump is destroying this country and the people have a chance to fix this. november of 2024 this is what i predict. a backlash against this overreach. people will look at trump as the solution, not the problem. and he's going to win in november of 2024. and this indictment almost certainly secures the nomination for him. >> jesse: hillary clinton says trump voters are in a cult. >> the more people get in against him, his chances actually go up. and then the response that we

have seen in polling from republicans suggest that they are going to stick with him. that it's more of a cult than a political party at this point and they are going to stick with their leader. >> jesse: are you in a cult, senator? >> i'm an american who believes that -- if you believe hillary clinton should be prosecuted you probably believe trump should be prosecuted. if you believe she should get a pass, trump should get a pass. i'm not in a cult. i have taken the president on when he is wrong. what they are doing to president trump is a game changer for the presidency. they have taken the law and turned it upside down on numerous occasions to get him. they have lied about information to a court. they have tried to basically create narratives that are not true. they are charging him with espionage. so this desire to get donald trump doesn't mean -- it's going too far. you don't have to be in a cult to find this offer. they are destroying the country in the name of trying to keep one man off the ballot. and that's why i'm so upset.
