the wreckage of titanic. but the sub has a limited supply of oxygen. can thank is live with what we know and don't know. >> the red states and canadian coast guards are searching for the big things up in the atlantic ocean at a depth of 13,000 feet. where the pressure is up to 6,000 pounds per square inch. the u.s. coast guard says that sub went missing in a remote area about 900 miles east of cape cod near to titanic wreckage. the coast guard says rescuers are using airplanes, ships, sonar buoys and they are also relying on commercial boats. the search because usually when the sub was reported missing after it reportedly lost contact about one hour and 40 minutes after going into the ocean. titanic expedition leader tells fox news it takes about 2 1/2 hours to drop down to the actual correct site. the coast guard has not identified exactly who was on board a missing sub. that is about the size of a

minivan. it has one commander and four other people likely passengers who paid to tour the track -- titanic wreckage. the sub is equipped with the dwindling oxygen supply that can last about 96 hours. the sub is a part of oceangate expeditions, the company that provides staffed submarines for the expiration, research and tours. statement oceangate rights to fox news, vote for some time, we have been unable to establish, medications with one of our submersible expiration vehicles, which is currently visiting the work site of the titanic. our entire focus is on the well-being of the crew and every step possible is being taken to bring the five crew members back safely. we are deeply grateful for the urgent and extensive assistance we are receiving from multiple government agencies and deep-sea companies." u.s. congresswoman williams explode -- posted to twitter, the u.s. navy should deploy a nuclear submarine and the best sonar operations in the world. >> trace: the best information we know, matt, this thing is likely not close to the surface

's what i believe possibly happen is either they lost the full power of everything and just like technology, technology sometimes crashes, they could have lost the. i believe if it was popping out of the water, they would have an elt that would be able to pop off and also it is white and it

is orange. to be able to be seen easily. but my personal opinion is i believe it is on the ocean floor. they lost contact and 45 minutes. when you take -- that submersible is different from a submarine. a summer in can only go so deep. that submersible is able to win down there, 12,000, 500 feet, and would operate -- >> trace: space you push the limits of that, push the limits of that altogether. over time, it destroys -- it comprehends -- the holes over the lifespan. >> trace: the pressure is one as part of it. and then you look at the other thing which is the fact they only have so much oxygen. it is hard to get a gauge on how much but maybe 60, 70 hours, about right now. here is what is interesting. here is a cbs reporter on the submersible last year. he said the following, quoting here, with the support ship is directly over the sub, they can send short text messages back and forth.

those are no longer getting a response. there's no way to escape, even if you rise to the surface by yourself, you cannot get out of the sub without a crew on the outside letting you out. even if this thing is on the surface, involving summer, they have to find it because they can't get out. they are still in that same oxygen window. >> time is very critical right now and we could be using this as a play for all countries coming together and working as one to help us save the five people on board. it is a great time to come together as countries and like i said, it is still a risky mission. it is still a rescue mission. we hope for the best for these lives that are on board right now. >> trace: ocean researcher robert said this to the bbc, quoting here, we know where the titanic is but we don't know where the submersible is but is but it could be that it is nowhere near that depth and that is what we should all hope for at this time. maybe it would not be asked if

try to get coverage from people who are not interested in covering him. >> trace: you said cover him up. it is interesting because the whole concept is you would think after these indictments came down that he would lose popularity. here is jon karl on abc talking about the polls and he is somewhat surprised by this. watch. >> a poll from quinnipiac on a possible biden/trump matchup puts biden at 80 -- truck at 44%. this is a poll again taken largely after the indictment. i mean, that has got to make you -- that is within the margin of error. there is a statistical time. what does that say about biden? trey woodbury, i mean, it is a that he. are you surprised by the numbers? >> not really. there are polls that have had him up six points against joe biden. the more that they rally the gop

it was a weekend meant for celebrating father's. instead, it was marred in climates and some of america's biggest cities. reporting the 10 people were fatally shot around that city over the weekend. dozens more were wounded. the shooting at a park left two people dead and three wounded. officials say they were attending a father's day barbecue when people in a green honda sedan pulled up and opened fire. and in san francisco, police say a car to karbala and -- battle ensued. that is a popular tourist area on sunday evening. six people were injured. including four bystanders. one of them, a 10-year-old girl, was struck by one of the vehicles while walking her bike across the street. she was transported to the hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. >> it appears that this was an isolated incident and these individuals were targeting each other. have every confidence that we will bring this to a conclusion. but we still have a car outstanding and the occupants of the second car still outst

outstanding. >> reporter: organizers of the beyond wonderland music festival in washington state canceled the second day of their event after a shooting took the lives of two people in nearby campground. the suspect was also injured in the incident and according to officials they say a motive is unclear at this time. and rodgers of the new york city subway are also continuing to experience violence according to reports by people were stabbed in less than a week including two female victims who were slashed in the lake in two separate incidents. nypd is working on tracking that is a spec down. trace, the troubling violence all over the country. >> trace: we don't seek protests. and it is surprising. marion, thank you. meantime, the first of a tonight's crime crisis rather, six people were wounded when contracts broke out during a juneteenth celebration in milwaukee. police say the incident stemmed from a fight between girls. the suspect is a 17-year-old male who was also injured in the fight. mystery trucker is being celebrated for tackling a suspect involved in a police

chase. deputies from martin county sheriff's office in florida were chasing a 19-year-old male when the drucker who was taking a break stepped in with "the skill of a linebacker." the suspect was charged with possession of illegal weapons resisting arrest and tampering with evidence. security camera video shows the moments a mask -- 8 meant and 62 businesses. the owners were devastated and started a gofundme page to try to recruit some of their losses. they own or the owner of the market told the local affiliate that her insurance company dropped her because of two previous break-ins. please now looking for a suspect in new york city. they say stabbed a couple's dog while they were on a walk in central park. reports say the couple was attacked by peoples that were off leash. the owner of the stocks allegedly pulled out a switchblade killing the other dogs. here is reaction. >> frightening, scary. >> that is new york.

>> reporter: you are not too surprised? >> no, i live in harlem. >> trace: the suspect wearing an orange shirt and orange hat fled the scene. the fox news @ night fox news @ night commonsense department understands that los angeles mayor karen bass is planning to sell the sleep -- saw the city's homes crisis. she intends to accomplish with the city failed to do in 30 years. after 30 years, and several hundred million dollars, the homelessness problem in l.a. is worse. but a nonprofit called the committee for greater l.a. thinks, has a remedy to use more than 100 weekend lots owned by the city of l.a. to build homeless shelters. and what better place to start than an empty lot that used to be an elementary school smack dab in the middle of woodland hills, california. right? the neighborhood there. i mean, who needs reading, writing, and arithmetic when you

have and -- can have needles, feces, and the mentally ill. common sense things is a concern for even the most magnanimous of local homeowners. they certainly need refuge but history tells us homeless shelters and encampments are not the best of neighbors. a constant stream of drugs and crime tends to put a damper on stickball and backyard barbecues. maybe they use the empty school of law to build, oh, i don't know, a school. common sense is curious to see what is rock-bottom first in the neighborhood, property values? that's been in criminal defense attorney. it is great to have you as always. if you are a homeowner in one of these areas, you have to have some recourse. can they build a home center right in the middle of their neighborhood? >> take into it but they have to go through many checks and balances and if you are a homeowner, that purchase your

home 20 years ago, what about the value of your home? what about the fact that nuclear families will not want to move in there because whether it is correct or it is nice or it is mean, the reality is with homeless shelters comes homeless people that need to be housed. they need transportation. they need medical help. they need psychiatric help in many cases. you can expect a flood of preliminary injunctions and lawsuits against the city or the counties if they authorize it. i think it is a longshot to be sure. >> trace: so they can tie this up in litigation. >> absolutely. well, you can bet your bottom dollar it may not be the homeless advocates that are voting for these politicians. >> trace: it is interesting because a circle k employee was fired for putting her hand on a suspect. he has mahnaz and try to get cigarettes and then apparently approach this woman. here is the woman who got fired and her lawyer.

>> all of a sudden, he was on me, right up on me and i kind of, you know, just freaked out and i pushed him. you know? i did not know what else to do. >> she was asking in those acting in self-defense. she thought she was being attacked by someone who is wielding a knife and i think it is instinctual to try to push someone away when you think you are getting attacked. >> trace: vik, we got this backwards. the criminals are walking three. the employees are getting punished. >> california law says they are allowed to do it and let them get along with it but this is really's corporate saying we want to avoid litigation. we don't want to thief to then sue circle k. we also don't want the employee to get injured and then sue on a personal injury basis. so it is better just to ruin someone's life and fire them after 18 years of service. now, also keep in mind as we may have discussed earlier, circle k has a history of this. they have decades and decades of terminating long-standing

employees because of thievery and trying to intercede in the thefts being loyal employees. it is really the bean counters saying, well, i don't really care about the employees' life. to go ahead and insulated from lawsuits and settle these things out according to and get rid of perceived liabilities. >> trace: mariannette was talking about this earlier, the gun violence, the number of shootings in chicago. july 4th is the busiest of these fatal weekends. chicago five, nbc five set the following at least nine killed. now we know it is 10. 46 rooted in chicago shootings. over father's day weekend and so the worst beacons are coming. i mean, there's got to be some answer here. is good got to be some kind of legal remedies to be able to help what is happening in chicago and philadelphia and several other cities. >> sure, strict gun laws. that clearly works. chicago has some of the most stringent gun laws in our union and it is no coincidence that criminals don't say, hey, well, let me go to my local gun store and go through a background

exactly accurate before actually it is pretty accurate. it does exist. this is just another example of chinese encouragement of its massive surveillance operation and the fact that it is so close to america's backyard. >> trace: we send antony blinken is on his way back home. what grade would you give his trip to china? >> oh, goodness. well, i applaud him for still being committed to diplomacy but i think that this trip was a mistake. i was hoping it would be neutral. i think it was a negative. probably -- if i'm being generous. the reason that blinken's trip was canceled was because of the way of the chinese spy balloon. back in february, we can said we know with certainty this was a surveillance balloon, that we know that it was surveilling military sites and china did not apologize for that and so things have only deteriorated further. china has become more militarily provocative, flying in

international lands. and so this was not a win. there were no deliverables. this was not a good trip for antony blinken. >> trace: since you brought up the chinese spy balloon, i want to show what the president said about that spy balloon. watch. >> president biden: one of the things that the bloom because it was not so much the guys who shot it down. order to leadership knew where it was and knew what was in it and what was going on. i think it was more of an embarrassment than it was intentional. >> trace: embarrassing for who? why are we currently walking on eggshells with beijing, rebecca? >> this is joe biden touting the chinese thomas partey version of the story and undermine his own intelligence community assessment. he said we know this was a surveillance balloon and it was

military. joe biden is trying to tow the line for china to try to solve these deteriorating relations between the two countries but this is a remarkable thing that the president said today while his secretary of state is on his way back from this trip that was not good for the united states. >> trace: yeah, lastly, i want to put this up. marsha blackburn said this, and flew to communist china and state department administration does not support taiwan's independence. why won't this administration stand up to bullies and stand for freedom? i have got about 15 seconds left for you. but a lot of people shared exactly her thoughts. >> well, two points here. china actually in all of the visuals made it look like xi jinping was more powerful than the united states in relation to antony blinken and it was a great intelligence operation for china to poke and prod at blinken and his delegation to see where u.s. weaknesses are and again, i don't think that that message was good for the united states. i think china came out appearing
