>> but that's all the time wes have left this evening. senator tim scotevt, you for coming? thank you for doing this. charlottcoming a this.e thank ye us at home from beautiful myrtle beach, south carolina.roa thank you for joining us. have a great night.ing us.. >> hi, everyone. i'm laura ingraham. this is the angle from washington tonight. spencer and that's the focus of tonight's angle. >> i. biden and the left are under siege. the new cnn poll that just came out shows biden's favorability at its lowest point of his presidency at about 32%. now, that's a drop that occurred from the weeks from may to june. >> of course, when we learned that an informant reportedly
12:01 am
alleged that biden accepted a million dollars bribe from a ukrainian oligarch, the owner ,burisma, and 83% of voters in the new harvard harris poll believe that the fbi should make that file public. now, it's not just the scandals either, because biden's approval numbers on the issues that matter most to people, well, they're upside down in every category. >> 62% of the country say we're on the wrong track as well. so if america has a car, the dashboard lights are all flashing red now on edge about the future. the american people know that this really isn't the same country they grew up in since the george floyd riots. young people believe that they can wreak havoc with no consequences as they did the juneteenth holiday weekend in l.a.. oh, more on other weekend
12:02 am
celebrations later in the show . >> now, meanwhile, as the chaos unfolds here, our beloved president can barely speak without some verbal interlude. >> all right. god save the queen man or find his way off the stage without a helping hand to guide him. and all the while, he continues to give off creepy grandpa vibes. >> thank you. thank you. thank you, ma'am. of that hand, joe. now, the democrats and their big tech and media allies know things are desperate. so the tactics that they're employing are reflecting this desperation. so if it means providing an exit ramp for the president's
12:03 am
son to avoid jail time for a crime any conservative would get jailed for, they're going to do that for failing to pay about a million bucks in taxes . hunter biden agreed to plead guilty to two misdemeanor charges. >> and it turns out if you're connected and you have the right political views, you can also lie on your background check paperwork when you buy a firearm. that all goes if hunter completes two years of probation. as shocking as it may be. the media believes, it's time to move on. >> they call it the biden crime family. they've gotten money from foreign entities illegal. none of that's been proven. there's no evidence of that. the republican response that there are two tiers of justice. we can't say this. there is no evidence to prove that at all. >> now, remember, when the media actually used to look for evidence, actually to probe questions that are outstanding as actually used to be interested, what whistleblowers
12:04 am
had to say. but they do think i believe that they can repeat 2020 when they dismissed the biden laptop story as russian disinformation only to confirm its authenticity after the election ,number of big tech swooped in, helped censor the story and of course, the same moves that they did now are being made. my bet that are being made now, there's no interest at all in figuring out how on earth the bidens got rich. >> the goal is to hold on to power or get power by any means necessary. and the playbook is the same every time washington develops its preferred narrative, the media reinforce it and attacks any critics and then social media companies block opposing views as dangerous disinformation. >> and it can be dangerous to the health of the nation when disinformation dissuades people from making use of
12:05 am
what could be life saving interventions like vaccinations ,wearing a mask. >> it's not even just disinformation. this is an empire right now, and we need homeland security. we need justice department, homeland security. >> well, they're protecting their purchase, their positions, their credibility. >> but both had to know that much of what they were saying then was false. >> now, just today, the wall street journal reported that among the three chinese researchers who grew sick with covid like symptoms back in december of 2019, november 2019, while they were working on coronavirus research at wuhan. well, one of them was actually funded by united states. so it turns out official washington would rather trust china to conduct exceptionally research than actually trust the american people with the truth.
12:06 am
this is one of the biggest scandals of all time. so they want to limit your exposure to actual facts to the truth. they want to do it everywhere. we're seeing it play out now, even in movie theaters after pressure from pro trans radicals. theater chain amc backed away from showing a documentary about d transitioning. so they need to punish the truth tellers. >> they need to reward the frauds, which is exactly what happened at the prestigious mayo clinic, where a professor had the nerve to say that testosterone improves athletic performance. now, for that statement, he was suspended. >> and look at how the media reacted after that cnn town hall where didn't allow the host to steamroll them. >> truly stomach turning. the thing that gave me an actual like feeling like i'd been punched in the stomach were the reports of the crowd i saw last night at least was as chilling as anything i've seen on television since
12:07 am
january sixth. >> what does that mean? that the defenders of democracy won't cover the current front runner at all? >> now, msnbc apparently is floating the idea, doing a tightly controlled trump town hall. >> you know, democracy is so at risk that need to clamp down on free expression because the they might not be able to properly process it. let's say the candidates are joe biden versus donald trump then. >> and i argue it's not only just whether voters reflect on what joe biden's are they afraid of what what donald trump would do if he returns to the presidency? in any normal election, those things matter. but i think the crisis is so key and essential, and i think in so many voters minds, democracy on the line. >> what a blowhard of a crisis so key and so essential. >> the crisis for most
12:08 am
americans is whether they're going to be able to pay their bills this month. >> matt. the crisis is caused when we don't a media that calls and strikes. at least it's exacerbated. and instead we have a media that just chooses who gets to be heard and who needs to be silenced. >> just look at what they're trying to do to another threat to biden. rfk jr. they're already pulling down his videos from. >> that's a shock. now that should count as i don't know some kind of in-kind contribution to the biden campaign. >> who needs to campaign at all if you're biden by the way, when big tech is just to run interference for you. >> rfk jr has a surprising amount of support. his alarmist conspiracy theory messaging is giving him a platform, anti-establishment podcast and conservative media. he's a crank. he's an anti-vaxxer. >> debates with anti-vaccine conspiracy theories only serve to elevate them and legitimize their ridiculous and dangerous . >> no debates.
12:09 am
no debates at all. that was such as rfk jr. they don't want to debate against joe. >> they're going to pull out all the stops. and i see this building already to prevent any debate involving joe biden at all. every day the establishment reveals itself. right now they have a death grip on power and they have biden in the oval office. he's a willing. he's an easy dupe. they want to keep it that way. and all those words, right. the protesters, they have scrawled on their signs. like equality, peace, justice, love those. >> subvert them all in a wilmington second. if it means holding on to the white house, they're going to do anything required by any means necessary. now we have a year and a half to take the country back. it's not going to be easy, but at least we know now what we're up against. >> and that's the angle. joining us now is ari fleischer, former house press
12:10 am
secretary, and stephen miller, former senior adviser to president trump and founder of america first legal. stephen, why aren't the bidens being prosecuted for the hundreds of thoroughly documented instances, in my view, of criminality found just on hunter's laptop? why? well, i think we can all agree, laura, that if paul had hunter biden his laptop, he would have been taken to a cia black site and never seen again. >> the reality is that there are enough crimes documented on that laptop combined with what james colmer has uncovered in terms of the elaborate influence peddling scheme and the well web llc is to shield foreign income from scrutiny to be able to bring the hammer down on hunter and you see if you wanted to get to the bottom. this is the most important point that i'll share with your audience, laura. if you wanted to get to the bottom of what joe biden has
12:11 am
been to in exchange for all that cash, you would sit down with hunter and you would say, we have enough information and evidence here to put you in jail for 100 years. a stacked indictment, 30 counts, 40 counts, 50 counts, the way they do to the republicans. and the only way out. the only way out, hunter, is for you to give a full and complete accounting of the big guy and the 10% and everything. so they wanted those answers. they would get all of them. >> the whole point of the sweetheart plea deal was to make sure that they don't get those answers, that they protect. joe biden because doj is interested in one thing and one thing only, which is protecting itself. and joe is protecting doj. so if they're protecting him, it's that. >> ari, your take on this. why are the media so invested in this protection racket? and they are supposed to be sometimes curious about what people other than donald trump have done.
12:12 am
and their political lives. but not here. why not? because the deck is stacked because the press has become and if they were to hold joe biden to the same standards they held, donald, they would have to have a feeding frenzy against donald, against joe biden. and it is no longer in their constitution to do so because it would help donald trump. and they won't do that. so the truth is thrown overboard because they're activists. look, just last week, joe biden said, i have never not once told the who to prosecute. they could easily roll tape to when joe biden said anybody not cooperating with the january six committee on congress should be prosecuted. the next day he had to take that back. but he did say it when he said his son has done nothing wrong. that is interfering in the justice department investigation. when joe biden said, i have never discussed business with my son and it is contradict by emails, photos, recordings that were contained on his laptop.
12:13 am
why didn't the press call him a liar? so the press is in the tank. and what republicans have to do is build their own institutions, their own communications methods, because you cannot any longer count on the american media to be neutral, fair. now, just like before the last election, when no one knew about the hunter biden laptop story, i mean, they just that's how helped propel joe biden to the presidency. now, steven, the point that ari made, i want to read this nauseating opening from peter baker in the new york times. no subject may be more personally painful nor politically problematic for president biden than his troubled son. he is, by all accounts, a gaping wound in his heart and the most sensitive sore spot and his armor. stephen. that's exactly how that that cover a story affecting a frontrunner republican. right. very sympathetic. the bias is so out in the open. it's so obvious they take no
12:14 am
effort whatsoever to even conceal it any more. they are propaganda press for the regime in power. this is a story, laura, fundamentally about pay for play, about influence peddling, about a corruption scheme that goes to the heart of our government. this is about what did joe biden do year, year to justify foreign governments funneling millions of dollars into his family's bank account. and hunter has all those answers. and they could have got in every single one of them under oath from him if they wanted to. but instead, they cut a deal that was designed to immunize biden family and joe biden in particular from that scrutiny when they should be bringing witnesses in front of a grand jury right now to find out what joe did for all that money. and so now it's left to house republicans and james comer to build out that road map so that a new joe doj can pick it up in 20 25. >> now, ari, now that hunter has reached this exclusive
12:15 am
fittingly difficult plea deal, here's what the media wants to do. the developments in the hunter biden case today have a ring of exoneration for the president's son and in some small ways for the president himself because of the untoward attacks that house republicans have made. republicans need to take loss in the hunter biden probe. it's time for them to move on. ari, again, no probing about foreign influence. we're in the middle of this proxy war in ukraine. obviously this involves ukraine with the prosecutor. everything else we know. china's in and we're going to get into this later into cuba. china looks like they could have been involved in sending some money the bidens way. there's no interest, no curiosity at all. >> yeah. and what i'm what i'm about is the prosecutor in this case, the u.s. attorney for delaware, said that his case is not finished yet. hunter biden's lawyer said he believes the case is closed. so if it's not finished, what is it that's left and is
12:16 am
it these allegations about corruption and business dealings that they're still looking at? let's hope so. but, you know, when you look at sandy berger, bill clinton's national security adviser, who went to the national archives, stuffed classified information, isaak got a misdemeanor. hillary clinton, who had classified information, including top secret, top secret documents on her server at home, all hackable by, entering enemies abroad didn't even get prosecuted. and then you look at hunter biden misdemeanor, basically an excuse again and then all the charges against donald trump, which could have or should been misdemeanors in new york city, elevate to felonies. >> and you wonder why republicans think that you can't get a fair shake that the deck is stacked up. it is unfair. that's why because recent history. >> ari, stephen, thank you so much. now, speaking of media manipulation, how is there no national discussion about we saw over this past weekend 75 people were shot and 51
12:17 am
separate incidents in just one city. now, much this violence tied to juneteenth celebrations like in willowbrook, illinois, where one person is dead, 22 more were shot when multiple gunmen fired into the crowd. then in milwaukee, six teens were shot as festivities wrapped up. the youngest hurt. there is just 14. and a shooting in san diego left one man dead, another injured. joining me now, florida congressman byron donalds, who sits on house oversight. congressman. now, i don't know. i have a feeling if all of this violence and bloodshed happened during some celebration of, you know, anniversary of the constitution, people wearing like colonial garb would hear more about it in the media. >> you're absolutely right, laura. you would hear about it. the reason why this doesn't come up except on your show and it shows like yours is because the big media does not care about what's going on in our urban cities. they have been caring for a very long time. the only thing they're concerned about is our people who live in new york,
12:18 am
chicago, l.a., etc. they going to vote democrat because as long as they do that, everything will be all well and good. but you have this problem in the inner cities, primarily because the radical left has made a decision a long time ago to completely abandoned the criminal justice system and to use it as some weird tool of social engineering. and it's not working. criminality has to be prosecuted. and when you don't do that, when there's no accountability metrics, this is what occurs in too many cities. too often, the united states now, the media didn't care about violence, but they did care about pushing warped narratives. >> congressman, watch this. >> voter suppression is happening in a way we haven't seen since jim crow. we should seriously take juneteenth as a time to ask the of who's missed the memo. like who? who has got it that we're supposed to be a country of equal protection under the law. what policies are not
12:19 am
establishing justice rather than establishing. >> what do we more people turning out in that last georgia election than ever before in u.s. history and in a midterm election? >> didn't that happen? no, it absolutely happened. i think we know it will. william is talking about look, at the end of the day, they'd like to throw these little dog whistles out there to scare black voters. but the truth, the matter is, is that election laws in the united states, especially in red states, allow everybody to vote. there's no issues there. but more importantly, the democrat progressive policy has hurt black people in our country. you have a situation where you talked about the hunter biden stuff. that's a flat out joke because this guy did stuff and he got a slap on the wrist where people in the inner city, they go to jail for a very long time, mean he got the charge that you would pick up a ford dimebag. it's ridiculous. but you got to have real policy in our cities and the problem is is that progressive policy has continuously failed people. when you don't take law
12:20 am
and order seriously, who suffers? black americans in urban corridors because assure you if one of the gunmen this weekend during the juneteenth celebration was a white guy against black people, it will be wall to wall coverage. but it's not. nobody covers it. the media doesn't care and the democrats don't care. >> well, congressman, there is some suggestion, think that this was all meant to, you know ,to throw a wrench in, you know, that you. donald trump saying, well, this is all political, you know, with his prosecution because, look, they did hold hunter biden accountable. they you know, it was misdemeanors, but they did pursue it. so now, it's going to try to take that argument away from him. do you think that's believable? no, nobody believes that because everybody is looking at what he actually got charged with. i mean, look, $1.2 million in tax evasion and you plead to two misdemeanors. give me a break. that's a flat out, joe. go ask wesley snipes and some of the other people that have
12:21 am
served jail time for tax evasion. and don't even get me started on the gun charge. kodak, black and other people, they got sent to jail for two and three years for a similar situation. it looks like he's going to take walk. this is the two tier system of justice in our country, which is disgusting. and what everybody really wants in our country is just apply the law. evenness doesn't matter if you're hunter biden, if your name is hillary clinton. >> just be consistent. congressman thanks so much. great to see you tonight. now, the missing submersible at the site, the 210 titanic, has around, what, 30 hours left of breathable air. we have an update on that ahead. also, our legal eagles are here to dissect the hunter biden plea deal. plus, the other hunter news that you might have heard about. >> so stay there. how are you guys thinking? >> first, the chicken or the baby back ribs, baby back ribs, chicken tenders, all way baby back ribs, chicken tenders, baby back ribs, baby back ribs, baby, back in ten years. on second thought, it really depends side of the buffet.

get pretrial diversion on a felony gun charge, and particularly here, where in addition to that, you've got to tax misdemeanors that they've charged. i also want to make this point, whict h he was charged with, willful failure to pay taxes.thi that's a misdemeanor. but the felony of tax evasion takes very little additional. ei additionally, to prove the only additional elementto is thate is there is a act of concealment. and under the case law, the case law is broad on what that act could be. it could be as simple as lying a an irs agent or filling out something incorrectly on that tax return. so all of that. leads mes me to really want to ask a lot more questions. and then the final question is, if you're going to give somebody a sweetf yo deal like this, did you put him underhim n
