but the doj says this is bunk. it did not happen. take us to the very top of all of these claims. what do you believe based on your clients testimony? here is the most serious charge. >> as you point out there is a lot of layers of that, so there are certainly one of the most difficult things is the allegations that were never abl to be investigated. those clearly require more follow-up that include what david read in terms of what tha messages were hunter alleges fo his father is there a. other information, the underlying investigation was only partially done beyond that the real challenge right now with the department of justice denying that any president of biden's appointees including in california and the district of columbia, they say that they didn't block these charges from being brought, but it's clear from the documents, from the testimony, and those being

cooperated by multiple individuals that tax charges fo 2014 and 2015 which is when the income came into hunter biden were left elapse. there is no way to recover that income. there was massive foreign incom that came in those years for hunter biden, and the doj says it just this was all on david weiss, but witnesses including the special agent in charge and the assistant special agent car for the fbi. we're all there when he told them they doj was blocked from doing this and so doj needs to answer that. >> doj i think wanted this to just go away on monday afternoo after these were announced, that's not happening and i thin it's impossible for that to continue somero at garland if h does not comment before the press, he will have to do so certainly in front of congress for this issue is not going away .

your client today, what is his employment status with the united states government? >> he is still a supervisory special agent with the irs. he has helped investigate and see prosecuted massive international tax schemes, he's helped to recover $3.5 billion for the united states governmen through his investigations. he was taken off this investigation and so there is a very real problem with retaliation here. of course, you look at chris clark, hunter's attorney he tol prosecutors last that to charge that would be career suicide. we know that people are coming for kerry in the case agent it' is to congress to protect them and make sure they are not full interrogated against. the request has not come yet specifically. he has to be careful because taxpayer privacy laws are very strict so that is in 26103,

that's why we have to go throug this careful process of going t the ways and means committee in the house because people can just go and talk about tax investigations. if we can work through that, that is the main impediment which remains to be seen whethe there is a good way to do that that protects him and ensures that he doesn't run afoul of those criminal laws. >> for you as a lawyer she firs got this case and started to look into it, what was your action. how hot did you think this was? >> i have worked with whistleblowers for over a decade , my first investigation working for senator chuck grassley was wood's operation fast and furious, but these relate not only to interference from the department of justice, which is again i've seen and past cases, but the bigger question in some ways is why were these allegations that relate to such significant crimes, not fully investigated. we may never know the answer of that because of the ways of the
