accusations in such a way you have to wonder if anyone is going to challenge the authenticity, which no one does. i mean, look he talks about the deal that's going to be done. the biden influence that takes place. the family that takes place. the money that enters into their accounts that's why the shapley is so fascinating. you are not talking about any investigation other than you just look at the irs. if you are an irs investigator to find out why someone is not paying taxes or filing and find out how much they owe, why wouldn't you want access to their overseas business dealings to find out where the money is. where it came from. and then to at least do the math to find out how much it owes. this money goes into shell companies from the shell companies, they pay hunter biden. from the hunter biden gets that money, where does that money go? and why does he feel impervious to pay taxes and how much went to joe? all this stuff is being tied together. >> steve: well, so, here's -- what's curious about this. and the republicans released

him. he is a republican. but he says, look, i have never engaged in politics. i have no political motive. is he only speaking out because hunter got special treatment. and he -- there he is right there. >> he said that felonies could have been charged, in particular. we know that hunter paid back taxes on what was owed. but, as it turns out, mr. shapley said that hunter wrote off things as business expenses that we would go to prison for. essentially. hunter wrote off money that he paid for hookers. he wrote off hookers. he wrote off sex club memberships. he wrote off travel for prostitutes, hotel rooms for drug dealers and no-show employees. and mr. shapley also said any efforts to look into money involving the dad or the big guy, and keep in mind we have heard joe biden referred to as the big guy for a while, mr. shapley said he was blocked by a senior prosecutor working for mr. weiss. who is the u.s. attorney for delaware. and this is where it gets

complicated. because you have got the just attorney for delaware saying to mr. shapley, i can't -- you know, i can't investigate the dad, and we can't -- i can't charge -- i'm not the decider on the charges. the u.s. attorney general, merrick garland, he says i'm not the guy. it's that guy. so, essentially, what they are saying is there has got to be somebody else or somebody is lying. and mr. shapley said that a senior prosecutor working for the u.s. attorney in delaware said hey, shapley, stop right there. don't look into joe biden. that's the complicated part. and that looks dirty. >> ainsley: he says the irs is supposed to treat everyone fairly and equally. that wasn't happening. they were telling him who not to touch and investigate. his attorney, his name is driven left. is he going to be on our show at 7:340. can. >> brian: shapley was up for a race he didn't believe he got it and promotion because he inquired and pushed back about

what was going on inside. one thing is kind of interesting is that in march, senator grassley seems to have known this by the series of questions that he asked to david weiss, were you ever stopped from bringing there case forward, were you ever -- was anyone ever brought up to you, limitations to your investigation? almost as if to get him on the record because he knew this thing was bubbling up. grassley is really tough to get -- go at him on his integrity. >> steve: just the fact that the "new york times" is now addressing these allegations from a whistleblower, and cbs is doing the story as well, it almost looks like they are -- they are starting to put mainstream media on joe biden go. joe, maybe this next time you should sit ot. out. >> ainsley: don't you remember the phrase our grandmothers always said. eventually it comes out in the wash. eventually it tall comes to light. >> brian: lunden roberts, the former, i guess, girlfriend of hunter biden who had his child

steve all right. let's talk a little bit about the maps and a fox weather alert right now. severe storms are expected to bring more severe weather, could include large hail, high winds up to 85 miles per hour for the great plain states as you can see right there look at the map. parts of kansas, oklahoma, south dakota and texas are already under severe storm watching meanwhile the ceo of united airlines based in newark, new jersey says the faa is partly to blame thousands of flights canceled since the weekend. the faa did not properly prepare for the storm. they didn't have enough people working. he had hello. new york city is bracing for another round of smoke from the canadian wildfires. chicago and detroit under thick smog with poor air quality expected to linger in the northern states next couple of days. janice dean is here with our fox

#i quit my job 91 million. this is a big thing. >> it's a whole social media phenomenon. it really stemmed from the pandemic when a lot of people started chronicling their emotions and what they were going through on places like tiktok and taken that over to situations like quitting their jobs which usually is something you reserve for more private moments. but they are really just putting their emotions out there and in some cases it's kind of nice to see in the more respectful manner but there is a few others that i have noticed and i don't know if that's good for your future and probably your current boss that you informed is not too happy. >> ainsley: some are hitting send as resignation letters some zooming with their bosses. i saw some that were funny. one guy making a video out on the river of how now he has quit his job and getting drunk. some of them are funny. some of them are emotional. this is what the younger generation is doing now. don't you love that some of the girls are in their hoodies quitting their jobs? >> that's the thing.

a lot of these positions are remote positions they are not used to having that one-on-one communication. a lot of communication skills have been lost with this younger generation. it is just hard too wrap my head around because i'm so cognizant of my future. every move that you make effects the next one. so i imagine in a lot of these situations where you have employees who are going and putting their employers on blasts and not even notifying them that this is something that they are broadcasting probably not setting themselves up too well for the future. >> ainsley: i remember when i got another job and had to quit my first job. i was so nervous to tell my boss because we had such a great relationship. he was so supportive. i can't imagine putting that live, or recording that or post it. why the trending for the younger generation? >> it's all about they want to express who they are. this is about truly journaling their emotions and they share everything else on social media. i mean from what they are eating to what he are doing. this is just one more step in that process.
