johnny will have to take a pay cut. sounds like your birds committed suicide. just like epstein. i am sorry, birds. you had a good run. that is all for tonight. dvr the show and remember i am watters and this is my world. blasphemy. >> it's been left to house republicans not the doj to uncover this. moments ago irs whistleblower
5:01 pm
gary schlafly told bret baer there was obstruction. >> are you convincing looking back at there now this was an effort to protect president biden and his family? >> uh, i mean we were conducting investigation of hunter biden and we were trying to follow the normal process. we were trying to get to the bottom of it, and ultimately if it was going to lead to another individual, you know, we should follow that, to determine what is actually happening. but, you know there were definitely hindrances i've never seen before in my 14 years concerning this investigation that didn't allow us to follow through an investigation of any other individual to include president biden. >> so this guy seems credible. according to the what's app messages in 2017 president biden demanded chinese company pay the bidens more than double what the
5:02 pm
ccp linked company was offering. quote. i can make five million in salary from any law firm in america if you think it's the money it's not. the bidens are best at doing what they want from this partnership. you got to know the plural, bidens. >> who are the other biden's involved in the president denied any involvement in his son's business dealings which is looking like a complete lie. here is what the president said today. >> president biden how involved were you in your son's chinese text message? were you involved? were you? >> no! >> so, as mama jones says, someone is lying, either it's joe or hunter biden. a few days ago another what's app message from hunter revealed joe was in the very room as hu
5:03 pm
hunter, now, this is the quote. i'm sitting here with my father and we would like to understand why the commitment made has not been fulfilled. hunter wrote to zao and threatened him saying, if i get a call or text from anyone involved other than you i will make certain that between the man sitting next to me joe and the person he knows that you will regret not following my direction. that's the big guy. there are photos of hunter outside his father's delaware home the same day he sent the text message. but the president wants you to think none of this happened. he wants us to believe that his son is a hire or that hunter is crazy. joe biden continues to lie about this because he knows he can get away it with. in fact he is so sure that the case, he's will to drag his son around to state dinners. he has no shame. and the media won't hold him
5:04 pm
accountable. and instead they spread ridiculous narratives like this. >> what we saw with hundred-dollarer appearing at the state dinner was in my suspicion was the president his son wanted to come so his son is going to come to the dinner. was that opticly easier for the white house communications team? absolutely not but i suspect that was more in the family circumstance of him wanting to come and wanting to just, the president wanting to show he loves his son and is standing by him. >> it's all about love. nothing to see here. the president just loves his son. stop asking questions. here is chris, the 2024 republican candidate and joins us now on set. thanks for making time with us. >> my pleasure. >> this looks like a classic rico case. why is department of justice having such a hard time getting ahead of this and it's left to a political arm as far as the
5:05 pm
republicans to do this. >> well look. i did this for 7 years, i was u.s. attorney in new jersey oning the fifth largest country during the bush administration there. is no way that getting two misdemeanor tax pleas and dismissing a gun charge take 5 years. they were obviously the people trying to investigate other stuff that we've heard about from hunter's laptop to these what's app messages, burisma and interaction with foreign entities and look. we've got to prosecute cases like. this we have to allow the investigators to investigate. when you listen to the whistleblower speaking to bret baer that looks like agents i worked with from the irs and other agencies who want to do their job. they don't care where it leads. they just want it to end and i think what is going on here is hunter biden was charged.
5:06 pm
this deal doesn't look right. we are not hearing about all these facts coming out. >> the "wall street journal" governor elaine o'connor who used to be the tax attorney said the judge should reject this deal. do you think that should happen? >> i think the judge should say everybody go back to your corner see what we are doing here because mr. weiss the u.s. attorney who was appointed by donald trump you would think that he was given the authority to be able to do whatever he wants but we are hearing he was stopped from going after things in california and in washington, d.c. so congress has to do oversight on. this there may have to be a special counsel lawrence to look at this, because right now you got the attorney general saying, weiss had all the authority and you have the whistleblower saying that weiss told them that he didn't have the authority. >> you've been doing this a long time. you used to be a u.s. attorney, you were a governor, a leading
5:07 pm
contender for perhaps to be attorney general one day. this guy was almost on the supreme court, do you believe merrick garland here afterward hearing from these whistleblowers and looking at the deal that was presented out for us to see? do you believe the attorney general that he didn't get involved. >> like mama jones said someone is lying either merrick garland or mr. weiss but they can't both be telling the truth. merrick garland i saw on tv the other night saying he had the authority to do whatever he wanted. whistleblowers saying weiss told them he didn't have the authority to do whatever he wanted regarding hunter biden. someone is lying. we need to get to the bottom of it. this is why i'm running for president have this appearance as a prosecutor, we need to have an attorney general who is no nonsense who will investigate prosecute without fear favor or partisanship. the american people need to believe in the department of justice and with this they're not.
5:08 pm
>> i want to turn to this because joe biden with the new term biden economy the plan that's going to restore. >> bidennomics is building economy middle out bottom out. it's just another way of saying restoring the american dream. i didn't come up with the name. i really didn't. i now claim it. >> half the country said we are worse off under joe biden. is this going to get traction from the american people? >> no, because what biden nomics is record i nation. it's having people lose their jobs, have to do multiple jobs to make up for the money they're losing in inflation, high gas prices, high home heating prices, high let trist people.
5:09 pm
american people know it because they have to pay out of their pock totes put up with in the job spent us blind as president, all kind of money printed and the american people feel it every day. >> i want to talk about your race, latest fox poll has donald trump plus 34rks desantis 32,you have 1 percent in this fox news poll. you supported the former president twice. you helped with his debate prep. some of your critics have said you're the guy that's going to be the assassin to take him out on the debate stage. >> i'm the guy running for president to be the guy. he's first place in the polls so if you want to win you got to beat the man lawrence. look. you're right. i was president of the chairman
5:10 pm
of the president's transition. i helped prep him for both sets of debates. i was chairman of his opioid and drug abuse program. said he was going to balance the budgets and you mention debates. we should have debates and everyone should be go to the debate. donald trump should be on that stiej too. if you want the republican voters to see us and have us compare and let them choose and american people are good at that and they need all the information, and that's what we want to give them. >> governor my big question is how are you going to break through? i said the 1 percent on the national polls we just released and new hampshire about 6%. because you've got to win the primary first. the donald trump doesn't show up if some candidates don't show up
5:11 pm
to debate, how do you take them on then? >> got to chase them to find them. got to go where they are. polls are all over the place. i remind the viewers 8 years ago now donald trump was at 4 percent in the 2007 barack obama was losing to hillary clinton by 38 points end of june 2007. we have been in this campaign three weeks. we are making a mark. we are going to coop working at it. that's what the american people deserve candidates coming on your program like this and be asked whatever questions you want to ask and answer them directly. i know what i want to do for this country. i want to do big things for america. that's what we need to do. >> governor i've been watching you on programs. you laid out why not only you think donald trump is unfit but why joe biden is unfit. unfortunately we are reaching binary choices and there's a
5:12 pm
republican and democrat in the race, rnc has a loyalty pledge, you don't make much of that but if donald trump is the nominee, would you support him? >> look, lawrence. i'm going to sign a loyalty pledge but i'm going to treat it with as much seriousness donald trump did in 2016. he signed it. we got asked in debate. will you stand by the loyalty pledge. nine of us raised our hand. donald trump didn't. >> take the pledge out of it. who do you end up voting for? >> i don't think that's the choice america wants. between the two of them they're 160 years old. there comes a time there's a sell half by date and father time is undefeated. >> we know the reality there, are two leading candidates. >> by the way lawrence the reality eight years ago was that it was going to be jeb bush
5:13 pm
running against hillary clinton. that didn't turn out to be the case so -- >> i want to ask you this governor. >> i wouldn't vote for joe biden. >> you're known as a straight shooter. >> i don't want to vote for either one of them. i don't want to vote for either one of them because neither one of them are qualified, in my mind, to be president of the united states. we see joe biden out there. he doesn't look like he's even competent and the bottom line is how are we going to nominate someone who is under two sets of criminal charges now and still under investigation for two more? you know we want to win this race and we are tired of losing. under donald trump we lost the house in '18, the senate and white house in '22 and other things in '22. >> ever since the indictment donald trump has gone up in the polls. how do you make the case to the republican voters when they essentially just double down in their support? >> but they don't double down on anything. no one has voted yet.
5:14 pm
>> you don't put much stock into polling. >> that's what it is today. you know how they ask those questions. they say if the election were held today, i would be shocked because the first election is not until january iowa, january 2024. we are 7 months from that now. so let's run a campaign. don't think we crown kings in america. you got to work for it. donald trump needs to work for this nomination. >> when it comes to nominees do you all become friends become? does he offer you a cabinet position? >> i don't think so. some of this stuff he's called me over the last few months i don't think that's going to happen and it's sad. but it is the truth of the matter and it's his doing. >> but you're not close to go door to voting for him. >> no. i'm saying i can't support him. i can't support either one of them not biden or trump because
5:15 pm
they're not competent and qualified to be president. it's for different reasons. joe biden predominantly because of age and donald trump i don't think can win when you're under this much criminal scrutiny and the conduct he's engaged in taking those documents keeping them in his home, making sure his lawyers didn't see them, not telling truth to the justice department when they wanted the documents back and what he was saying on a tape waving around a document i was lying them. mama jones and my mom would say you're lying once i'm not going to believe the other time too. we need someone honest direct and can beat the democrats. >> chris kristy, thanks for taking the questions. joe biden's gaffes becoming so common the president is trying to normalize it. the media aren't covering up for him. they're openly admitting he's old. more on that next.
5:16 pm
5:17 pm
hi, i'm sharon, and i lost 52 pounds on golo. on other diets, i could barely lose 10-15 pounds. thanks to golo, i've lost 27% of my body weight, and it was easy. (soft music)

hi, i'm tony hawk, and like many of you, i take a statin to reduce cholesterol, but statins can also deplete coq10 levels. that's why my doctor recommended qunol coq10. qunol has the number one cardiologist recommended form of coq10. qunol. the brand i trust.
5:19 pm
5:20 pm
>> so, president biden is having trouble with words again, according to a bloomberg report, the president mixed up india and
5:21 pm
china at a fundraiser last night, mistook the war in ukraine for the war in iraq. then he did it again this morning. >> had vladimir putin been weakened? >> it's hard to tell. he's clearly losing the war in iraq and losing the war at home. >> honest mistake or more signs of biden's advancing age? the president had visible marks on his face when he spoke to the press. he know those were from a cpap machine. >> every time i talk to a democratic operative or donor or somebody like that it's the first thing they raise. it is a concern. now, others will say look that's fine but let's talk about track record, important legislation running the iraq war in effect from washington pretty succeedly and in fact compared to donald trump people swallow whatever
5:22 pm
concern they may have about his age because it's better than the alternative. that's the white house theory of the case and somebody something to be said for. >> clay travis joins us now. i think everybody is just on board with something is wrong. this is got the same joe biden like we don't have to pretend to be physicians and we can belief our eyes, right? yes, lawrence thanks for having me. here's the way i would convey it hive got three boys. i got a 15-year-old a 12-year-old and an 8-year-old. would i be okay with joe biden driving them on the interstate right now, anywhere in a major american city from one side of the city to the other? my answer is no. in fact, i think there are a lot of people out there democrat republicans and independents who have gone through a situation like this when your parents or
5:23 pm
the grand parents get into their 80s like joe biden is and you can see the diminishment of their cognition in realtime which is what we are seeing with joe biden. i just don't there's any real parent out there or grand parent who is being honest that would let them drive their children on the interstate in a major american city to go somewhere. the reason i bring that up as example if you would not let him drive your kids on the interstate somewhere why in the world is he in charge of making the most important decisions in the world? and here's the thing, lawrence. every day he's getting worse there. are some things where somebody can be heard. i think john fetterman is a disaster in the senate for possible but it's possible his cognition could get period because he's only in his 50s. he would recover from that stroke. things are only going to get worse for joe biden chsz why it's unacceptable in my opinion for him to be president now.
5:24 pm
it's absolutely reckless to run him in 2024. >> clay the argument the strategists make is, he's better than the other guy. i think they're pointing to trump. >> yes. >> that's the argument they're trying to make to their voters and i think it's an emotional response. >> yes. >> it's not better policies. it's i don't want to see tweets. >> yes. donald trump is if you want to use a basketball analogy would rise up and dunk on joe biden time after time after time. right? it's not remotely similar their level of cognition. that's a challenge because you got to persuade people to potentially change their mind, as you will well know getting people to change their mind is difficult but i do think a lot of bind voters who thought he's going to return normalcy. he's going to bring steadiness back to the country. what i think lawrence a lot of those people won't show up in 2024 because i think what he sold normalcy and a return to
5:25 pm
what people were used to in america it hasn't happened. he's failed in that ultimate promise that he made in the country. i don't think he's actually going to be the nominee in '24 because even democrats recognize he's not there but if he is, trump or any republican should trounce him. >> he said he was going to resore the soul of america. clay travis thank. >> thank you. >> chaotic air flight is normal in america, flights disrupted canceled heading into the busy summer season. united airlines was hardest hit with nearby 500 cancellations, the company blames severe weather faa staffing constraints but mayor pete says everything is okay because even his flights are canceled too. >> we got hit with tough weather. it's affected a lost flights. i reached my hotel 2:30 last
5:26 pm
night. lot of americans are going through the same thing. overall we have seen the system perform much better than a year ago and i think that reflects the work we have done. i think it reflects the airlines stepping up. clear is a long way to go. >> mayor pete says the chaos at the airports is because of the roll out of 5g service. sean duffy joins us on set. sean, i travel a lot. >> all the time. >> i'm seeing it cancellations delays. they got to do something. right? >> first off, the 5g problem doesn't come into effect. if it does it won't have impact until july 1st so all the problems you experience any news channel reports all the problems of airports. that's not 5g. weather is top. we have airline problems where they haven't upped the staff
5:27 pm
since the pandemic but united says the problem is the faa, it's unstaffed so when we have weather baseth on weather or mechanics we were cut by incoming flights by 40 percent. the faa couldn't handle the flights by 40 percent and flights taking off reduced by 75 percent the faa hasn't been staffed up. >> why? >> i think that's the million-dollar question so if you're pete buttigieg you don't care about air travel. the number one mission for pete is climate change global warming so they don't want you to travel and the harder they make it the more painful the less you're going to buy that ticket and take you and your kids on a flight. you'll go i'll just stay home. they don't want you to fly. they don't want you to drive. they don't want you to do anything. they want you to be a good global citizen and just stay home. >> so if you don't go along with
5:28 pm
your agenda they'll force. >> and try to blame it on something fault. it's 5g, it's at&t or american airlines. people buttigieg number one priority is climate is going to destroy the world, you can't travel. and they don't tell the truth on it. >> sean duffy catch it on fox business 8:00? >> 6-7 a.m. awesome show. >> new strategy to win over voters in 2024, just shame and chastise america to voting for them. it's hard to believe but they're saying it out loud. we will show you next. from dizziness, ear ringing, and even hearing loss. never miss a moment with lipo flavonoid.

>> so hundreds of maryland parents protested the world lgbtq agenda in the states largest school district on tuesday and the mostly muslim
5:34 pm
and ethiopian crowd says the sex education forced on their children violates the first amendment. liberals in the media have responded attacking the parents because the democrats have a new strategy to keep they are tragic coalition in line. they want to shame voters into supporting joe biden. watch. >> you get to decide whether you want to help donald trump president or you don't. and if you want to help him, then you should vote for cornell west or joe mansion and his no labels convict or rfk, jr. messaging to voters who might actually make this decision is probably a little different. >> no, chastising works. >> it works. that's obama speak writer right there. lots of minorities, the democrats have counted on for years want out of the party.
5:35 pm
senator tim scott is 2024 presidential candidate joins us now. senator, it's not enough to just make your case to the american people. you have to shame the voters that you once had instead of bringing them something new, inspiring them. >> yeah. lawrence, it is absolutely -- i can't even find the right word, except for ridiculous, shocking offensive, to say what joe biden said in 2020 we are just repeating the past. you can't be black if you don't vote for me. it is the most offensive outrageous disgusting thing a presidential candidate can say. now we have obama speech writers playing the same old game again saying you're not black if you don't vote for us, you're not a woman if you don't vote for us and you talk about the most power issues that sets captives free in america, the closest
5:36 pm
thing to magic in america is a good education but in the bluest counties of maryland parents are standing up and saying i want a choice of my kid's education but the school district says stay home. we will tell you what to think about what your kids are going to be educated. don't show up at a school board meeting. you're not invited to know your kid's curriculum with the my administration we are going to have people who respect parents, the g.o.p. the great opportunity party we are the party of parents because we know that parents getting a choice gets kids the best chance to succeed and the greatest nation on god's green earth they have to be involved invested in their kid's education and all across america we are hearing blue city after blue city bow the knee to the teachers unions and tell their parents stay home do, not have a voice and thank god the coalition is growing of like
5:37 pm
minded value centric parents who say, i am going to decide what my child learns in the area of education around sex education around education they don't want crt's, they want abc. they don't want their kids drauktd. they want their kids educated. they want to be involved. that's a good thing in involved. go to vote tim scott.com join the american revolution and restore opportunity and choice to parents every zip code in america. we can do it together. >> senator eye been watching you a long time. you're at your best speak from your heart and what uva heard from the american voters. >> thank you. >> thanks for taking time tonight. we appreciate it. >> absolutely. >> the view is widely known as one of the dumbest talk shows but according to its host super republicans are the problem. >> isn't it sad you have these
5:38 pm
people that know better that clearly are educated are smarter, know this. >> yes. >> yet they are lower their intellect in a sense. >> yeah. >> to i guess attract people that don't have the and little skills that they need, that don't have those developed and are just taking in whatever they're saying. they're not challenging it they're not looking at the sources and i think shame on them for doing that for taking advantage of people. >> oh my god i love these people. chris bedford is editor of common sense society. they're so receive righteous and think they're smart. it's laughable some of the stuff on that program. >> it is. it's not that sonny is ignorant but knows so much that isn't show. this signs a light on something especially since 2016 the election of donald trump. there's a lot of hate and moral
5:39 pm
righteousness displayed by people who are completely unwilling to debate on major issues whether it's gender ideology, whether climate ideology or what's going on with race in america. they say those things are beyond debate. you can't talk about them because they can't defend their position but they dislike you deeply as a person and it's showing, saying i'm not trying to understand your argument. in order to persuade people you have to understand with where they're coming from talk to them be willing to engage. that's the way this republic was built and some are not interested in doing. >> i don't think is going to work this election, the last election joe biden promised to bring callness, plus a great economy, everything was going to be okay and we didn't get any of that and in fact we got more corruption in the white house. so, do you think it's going to work this time? because people didn't vote for
5:40 pm
joe biden because he was going to be better off. they voted for him because they wanted some calm and he failed on that. >> yeah, i don't think it's going to work nearly as well. we have seen a lot more courage. it's been slower in the american political class but in particular from the base voters. they're not willing to just take republican party says i'm going to stand up for you lower taxes goes to washington doesn't do anything. they want fighters, folks like j.d. vance. i think folks everybody impressed senator tim scott walking into the lions den and what used to frighten people being called a bigot or awful person like you see all the time no longer frightens people and when we are seeing things going on in our schools, seeing politicians tearing the country apart folks are getting more courageous about it and want their leaders to do the same. >> the view is not a representation of the american people. so many people ask me how can you be black and have these
5:41 pm
points of view and go back to your community any never left my community. the people that raised me have the same belief system. thanks so much, chris. >> thank you. >> so the giant canadian smoke cloud is back and heading toward the united states but liberals are more concerned with coal fired pizza ovens. that's next.
5:42 pm
5:43 pm
5:44 pm
5:45 pm
5:46 pm
>> so, the liberals are at it again, destroying fun. new york city wants to ban coal-fired pizza ovens to fight climate change. how much carbon does a pizza emit compared to canadian forest fires? 15 states across the country feeling the consequences and do liberals have priorities or want to make our lives difficult? michael is an independent journalist and joins us now. new york has one great thing. it's the pizza and the bagels.
5:47 pm
that's it. why would they get rid of their main attraction? >> it's obviously symbolic politics a way to make people feel bad about enjoying good things which is what a lot of environmental alarmism is about. you make a good point. if you continue want to have forest fires out of control you have to manage the forest better, reduce the fuel lodi they are through mechanical clearing or prescribed burns but they misattributing forest fires to climate change. those fires are mostly a consequence of not taking care of the forest and it's also important to remember that some forest fires are good. not like fire is always bad. ecosystems need fires but i agree baning the pizza ovens is not going to much impact climate change or canadian forest fires. >> michael why don't they just
5:48 pm
start tonight ground level? pick up the trash. in eakins texas it's keep texas beautiful. let's start right there first when it is comes to the environment and then we can escalate to some of these other difficult conversations. >> yes, i think you make a really good point. the truth is we have cleaned up our environment a lot over the last 50 years so this apocalyptic message which is making children depressed making adolescents and young adults not want to have kids it's such a negative message, the fact is we have reduced air pollution 99 percent. it should be what you said. new york city has a huge rat problem as you may not. that's just a function of good sanitation. that's definitely where the priority ought to be. so you see a lot of symbolic
5:49 pm
politics than doing the think we ought to do. we have bills of people living on animal dung and need cheap petroleum gas. we are engaging in symbolic politics trying to ban pizza ovens or shutting down nuclear power plants. they did that in new york city, representative alexandria ocasio-cortez helped to shut down a nuclear power plant replaced by fossil fuel. so it's about four not protecting nature. >> michael thanks for joining the program. >> good to be with you. >> when her gary schlafly

>> all right, irs whistleblower gary shapley speaking with bret baier saying he felt hunter biden got special treatment and what's app messages showed investigators weren't allowed to follow the flow of money. >> the importance of that what's app message is irs criminal investigator we need to understand the financial flow of money. we are working an investigation on hunter biden and trying to assess true and accurate tax assessment for him so if there's money going elsewhere whether president biden or elsewhere we needs to follow the investigative steps to insure that happens and they just weren't allowed in this particular investigation. >> shapley also said that felony
5:56 pm
charges were left off the table. >> is there criminal implications in what you were investigating when it comes to hunter biden? >> oh, absolutely. and you know, the most substantive felony charges were left off the table. >> jonathan turley is a law professor and legal scholar. professor this is obvious now we have more information about this case charges were left off the table. right? >> lawrence, it is, but what was discussed in the interview with bret baier is truly alarming. what the whistleblower is suggesting with great speaks fist i had the is that they tracked over $8 million going to hunter biden and the prosecutor assigned to the team had approved these charges found they were well based and should
5:57 pm
be prosecuted. somehow some one lowered it so we ended up with two misdemeanors and no jail time for hubdz. but there's other allegations that came out in this interview that really left you dumbfounded. he talked about how they had 12 witnesses they wanted to confront and to try get statements from and they were tipped offered and of the 12 they on the got one to speak to them. he said they had probable cause there was potentially incriminating material. with this info peddling scheme in a storage a unit. they never were allowed to search that storage uni-it is and also accused the fbi or the doj of tipping off the bidens. these are incredibly serious allegations and the question is what are we going to do about it? the democrats have opposed every
5:58 pm
effort to vaimt they opposed this information coming out but this is too serious to walk away from and we are going to. >> you know, professor, as i'm looking at the interview, it was very bland in the sense of he just presented the evidence that was a part of the case. he didn't seem like he was trying to showboat or he was partisan. seems like an irs agent. so i guess my question is, should the judge now with this revelation coming out throw out this deal? >> i wouldn't expect that, lawrence. you're asking a lot after federal judge to tell the department of justice i think you should prosecute this guy for more stuff. then you get into very uncomfortable line crossing.
5:59 pm
