7:01 pm
remember what i said about afghanistan. we would get help from the taliban and. what is happening now? what is going on? read your press. i was right. >> less than 500 days until the 2024 election and the left is finally starting to panic overbite and's latest embarrassing stumbles. political leading the way with a new column, why democrats should primary biden? the onus should be on biden to prove he is mentally and physically nimble enough to do the job for another term before he is allowed to run against the best the republicans have to offer. besides putting him in fighting trim or not, primary adversaries would prepare us for the all too real possibility that he is incapacitated by a stroke. virtually dursley injured or
7:02 pm
even worse. the piece even addresses the main reason biden needs a primary challenger. is vice president. quote, if kamala harris had convinced the country that she could step into bite and's shoes should he suddenly stepped out of them, the argument for a primary challenge wouldn't be so urgent. but when was the last time somebody you trust told you harris could easily fill those shoes? biden's only tactic appears to be relying on obama to come to the rescue. >> donations from grassroots supporters like you help to win the election, pull us out of the pandemic and pass the biggest climate change investment in history. can you pitch in and give $5 right now? you know joe will appreciate it. >> thanks, obama. >> pure cheese, folks. pure cheese. when he is not leaning on obama, joe is sending out gavin newsom to raise money who appears to be
7:03 pm
more interested in building his own base of support to run in 2024. all this comes as biden's approval sits at 40%. according to 538's average, that is a lower approval rating than any president has had at this point in his presidency since jimmy carter. but as the angle explained last week, the dems have no options when it comes to the 2024 prospects. >> democrats really are between a rock and a hard place here. they probably like to dump biden, but for better or worse they are stuck with him. right now it's like buying a box of air. nothing inside is worth anything, but it's all they got. >> she is exactly right. joining me now is raymond arroyo fox news contributor and mike davis founder and president of the article three project. raymond, should the president be primary? >> look, jason, the presidency
7:04 pm
is nacho biden's door prize. even if it were he probably wouldn't know which door to walk through to get it. when a man has difficulty standing still with a bicycle, when that is a challenge, he has to be primary to see if he is able physically, mentally and otherwise to carry out the remainder of the office, the four years he is running for. but to just assume because he won last time that he is entitled to it now, i am sorry, that doesn't pass the smell test. for the dnc to shut down all debates and say we are not having debates. we are basically not having a challenger. you better tell that to rfk junior who is already polling in the 20s. that will only go up as people continue to see biden decompose before their eyes. >> that is absolutely right. robert gibbs revealed how the democrats plan to handle biden's high disapproval rating.
7:05 pm
have a look at this. >> we see is going from the 2022 election into 2024. it is how to take the soft disapprove meant numbers essentially and use that contrast with republicans to say even if you disapprove of the job that currently joe biden is doing we compared republicans for the next four years and you can decide the reelection and president. >> mike, the strategy, who cares if biden is terrible? republicans are worse. is this a strategy that can win? >> back with president trump we had peace and prosperity until democrats used covid to shut down our country and blm riots to terrorize america. trump may have mean tweets from time to time, but i think the american people realize they made a big mistake by electing joe biden as the president of the united states. >> yeah, raymond, i've got to
7:06 pm
tell you, the democrats are panicked that they could lose again. new york magazine is writing trump won a lesser of two evils election and came very close to winning another. democrats need to do everything in their power to make joe biden more successful and popular. raymond, they insist joe biden has a messaging problem as if they meet need more cowbell. it is really a policy problem rather than more joe biden at the microphone? >> it's a policy problem and execution and communication problem. joe biden is a broken and sad vessel. let's face it. he's broken faith with his party and he's turned off the rest of america through his policymaking that did not end up anywhere near the campaign promises of unity and togetherness and healing the soul of the country which he promised. and then waiting in the wings is kamala harris, which is the only thing more disastrous than joe
7:07 pm
biden. go figure. i just pulled her poll numbers on 538. she is at 51% disapproval numbers, the highest disapproval rating of any vp ever. this is a woman who can't explain science and space to middle graders. she has got a problem. she has no constituency. when that is in the wings, joe biden is the only option. they will push him until they can't push him anymore. >> mike, i remember when kamala harris dropped out of the race. i think she was pulling in eighth place in her home state of california. that's when she exited the race. that is where she was at. nobody, nobody thinks that she is properly prepared to take on the mantle of the presidency. >> she will never be properly prepared to take on the mantle of the presidency. can anyone name one accomplishment by kamala harris other than getting elected to office? has she accomplished anything in
7:08 pm
her life? joe biden said he would only pick a black woman as his vice president and he picked kamala harris who clearly cannot be the president of the united states. it shows joe biden's horrific judgment. >> yeah. raymond, the other problem joe biden has is he cannot answer the most simple of questions. a question would be how many grandchildren do you have? i don't think he can answer that question. >> apparently now the white house has made a policy decision to say the president only has six grandchildren win in fact he has seven. the last bin hunter biden's love child. "the new york times" piece, i have to tell you, politics aside, you read this story about this four-year-old child who knows her grandfather is the president of the united states. her father is his son. she has never met them are had contact with them, but she talks
7:09 pm
about them. the human tragedy and the psychological scars for this poor baby breaks her heart on the surface. but when it comes from a man who continually tells us your children are our children. we will ensure the dignity of every human person. we will make sure everybody is lifted up. he can't even do it for his own flesh and blood. it ends up being a nonpolitical personal tragedy in the family that now becomes a political and bill around his neck as he goes into this election. the idea that he is a great family man or the conciliator that will bring unity and love to everyone. that narrative is shot. what a shame. what a tragedy where the biden family but more importantly for this little girl. >> they don't even want her to have the biden last name. in the world it would be a nice thing. it happens to be a reflection of a reality. they have done this paternity test.
7:10 pm
they know it is true. the idea that there are some government bureaucrats on the government dime sitting around having a meeting saying how should the president answer the question about how many grandkids does the president have? >> it shows the links the president will go to to protect the misdeeds of his son and to cover them up. it is not only this poor child that he had out of wedlock. it is many other misdeeds. those will come tumbling forward in the days ahead. who knows where joe biden goes from here. it's amazing how closely he is holding hunter since his own indictment broke out in that plea deal. >> yeah. mike, final word to you. >> i would say joe biden has shown himself to be a monster. he's the president of the united states. he could find a way even quietly to take care of his four-year-old granddaughter. instead he is going out of his way to make it more difficult. it seems like this four-year-old granddaughter is the only biden who is not on some corrupt
7:11 pm
foreign payroll. this is totally shameful by joe biden and totally shameful by jill biden. they should be ashamed of themselves. >> yeah, i agree. raymond and mike, thank you so much. raymond will be in this seat on wednesday guest hosting for laura ingraham. we will see you on wednesday. crack pipes,, oligarchs, chinese intelligence officers and a total disregard for the law. is there a better way to sum up hunter biden? each time something new comes out from his laptop you think it possibly couldn't get worse. but somehow, someway it does. shocking new photos showing hunter biden driving 172 miles per hour reportedly on his way to vegas for a hot tub party. and another holding a crack pipe while behind the wheel. this was a couple years ago. this is not decades a year. just a couple years ago.
7:12 pm
this all comes after he finally wrapped up his child support dispute over the grandchild we were just discussing that joe biden still won't acknowledge. and once that was done, hunter scurried off on the taxpayer's dime to camp david for a relaxing weekend ahead of his next court battle. this time over tax and gun charges. the u.s. attorney investigating hunter, david vice spoke out over the weekend. he denies whistleblower allegations that the probe was influenced by politics or that he was hamstrung while making prosecutorial decisions. quote, i have been granted ultimate authority over this matter including responsibility for deciding where and when and whether to file charges. but that is just not true. even in his own words. joining me is david schon former trump impeachment lawyer. david, do you believe david weiss? what is your take on it?
7:13 pm
>> i don't know we have a way to know the real truth here. one way to tell will be the special agent shapley, one of the whistleblowers has said there are six witnesses to what david weiss said to the effect that he did not have full authority and he had been stymied by the u.s. attorney in dc and so on. we keep seeing in the press that mr. weiss was a trump appointee. he was really a holdover from the previous administration. someone acceptable to both democratic senators from delaware. there is no telling what kind of internal pressure he is facing. i suggest again that for mr. shapley, a dedicated irs agent and supervisory special agent for his career, there is no incentive to come forward with a made-up story about this. he was offended by what he saw and broke ranks for someone who was committed to the agency. that's an extraordinary move.
7:14 pm
>> david, on msnbc they offered this absurd defensive hunter biden. have a look. it's really interesting they are trying to villain eyes him. you are right. he will come off as very sympathetic. not once did i see maybe a go after donald trump minor under the age of 18. his son has basically sailed through the last six years. >> are you kidding me? donald trump's youngest sun was a minor and did not have a laptop from hell and didn't do all of these things. sails through? what kind of perverted perception of that did they come up to say we need to treat him the same? hunter biden created this problem for the biden family, not donald trump's son. what does that have to do with it?
7:15 pm
>> that's a disgrace. hunter biden should be an irrelevancy. he's a sad and tragic case. i am share his addiction is partly responsible for making him dysfunctional. he doesn't seem like a sympathetic character. i disagree with that. what he did in arkansas with this child custody thing, with trying to remove the child support he is paying and so on. look at the tapes in which he is hitting up people from foreign countries for $5,000,000.10 million using his father aussie name and so on. what is really a disgrace in this is the use by the former intelligence agencies, clapper, brendan and the others, using their position to give a disinformation campaign and to say that hunter biden's laptop was a matter of russian influence in the election and so on. we are seeing in living color what the laptop provides. it is unbelievable the kinds of things this guy did. you want to attribute it to addiction, that is one thing.
7:16 pm
it is nice that the president stands by his son through addiction. but he is using his father's position for financial gain and so on. the former officials over the country an apology. >> never did see the corrections in the media. thank you very much. treasury secretary janet yellen is prepping for her big trip to beijing this week. i bet that has xi jinping running scared. listen to how strong she is against one of her greatest adversaries. >> we seek a healthy economic relationship with china. a growing giant that plays by international rules is good for the united states and the world. >> that's right. you tell them, janet. china won't take advantage of us at all with that attitude. cia director william burns wanted to get in the mix this weekend jumping on the globalist
7:17 pm
de- risk and diversified bandwagon. >> the country wants to find itself at the mercy of the cartel of one for critical minerals and technologies. the answer to that is not to decouple from an economy like china, which would be foolish. but to sensibly d risk and diversify with supply chains protecting our technological age and investing in industrial capacity. >> joining me now is gordon chang, senior fellow at the gate stone institute. gordon, he says its foolish to decouple. you heard the treasury secretary and the cia director. what is your take on it? >> first of all, china has declared a people's war on the u.s. although we are americans we think we have the right to be oblivious about what our enemies say about us. that phrase has great meaning for the communist party. they are serious about it and they are running an unrestricted
7:18 pm
we should not be funding them with trade with china or investments into chinese investments. those investments go straight to the military in many cases and the technology gets pipelined to the people. i don't care what term you use, but we definitely need to decouple because it's morally and strategically wrong to support a country that is configuring its military to kill americans. >> this is the big concern about biden and taking what is now reportedly potentially up to $40 million. not all from china, but still millions of dollars from china, potentially compromising our national intelligence operations. i want to get your take on something very specific here. the number of chinese nationals encountered by the united states border patrol is exploding. for the 2020 fiscal year it was
7:19 pm
just 342. but for this fiscal year it is already over 12,000 that they have encountered. chinese nationals encountered by border patrol coming across our southern border. what is going on here? spent first of all, china is in distress. the chinese people are trying to get out of the country. it's extreme pessimism and a failure of society. in that number, jason, there are males of military age unaccompanied by family members pretending not to speak english traveling in packs of between 5 and 15. those almost certainly are saboteurs. they are being placed in the united states because on the first day of a war with asia i believe they will commit acts of sabotage against us. the biden administration is not tracking these people. it is obvious what is going on. even the border patrol has found known links to the chinese military with some of these
7:20 pm
people coming across. the biden administration could not care less. she met gala, there are reports that some chinese nationals are wearing camouflage as they come across the border. they are looking for a better job. some scary stuff happening. gordon chang, thank you for joining us. that's not the only problem going on in the world. violent riots for days happening in france. ville is live in the west coast newsroom with all the details. what is happening? >> a brand-new report from france's ministry of the interior details how much carnage over the last week of riots. the numbers are staggering. the report recorded over 5600 vehicle fires and more than 1000 damaged buildings. since the writing first broke out last tuesday police have made more than 3300 arrests, almost 1300 of which were in the paris metro area alone according to the report. more than half of those arrested
7:21 pm
have no criminal record and were not known to police prior with an average age of those arrested being 17. very young crowd. there were at least 254 attacks on law enforcement with more than 720 personnel injured. the riots and arrests appear to subside over the last couple nights with the initial chaos driven largely by teenage backlash in the suburbs and urban housing projects against a fresh state that many with immigrant roots say they were routinely discriminated against. including backlash to a police shooting death of a 17-year-old of algerian dissent last week. french citizens are finally exhaling. >> it is calming down. at the same time i am not happy about everything we have been through. all it takes is one night of trouble and we have lost everything. it is not their fault that everything happen. >> in the middle of all this chaos while france was quite literally burning last week french president emmanuel macron
7:22 pm
was seen partying at an elton john concert. that earned him a massive wave of criticism. back to you. >> thank you. we appreciate it. aoc and her squad don't like the supreme court ruling. surprise, they want to make major changes to the courts. maurice cooper is here to examine. that is coming up next.
7:26 pm
- wounded warrior project has been with me every step of my journey. - they've helped me realize it's possible to rise to the top again. - it's possible to get the help i need for me and my family. - it's possible to hate pushups again. - to feel understood. - to begin healing both inside and out. - to feel like myself again. - and now i know anything is possible. (gentle music)
7:27 pm
considering subpoenas we should be considering investigations. we must pass much more binding and stringent ethics guidelines. there also must be impeachment on the table. >> allowed the courts to legitimatize unlicensed discrimination in this kind of way. it really makes not the country we wanted to be. >> bs, expand the supreme court. supreme court ethics reform and term limits. >> when the squad doesn't like something their instinct is to change the rules of the game. that's exactly what is happening with the supreme court. impeachment, expanding it, you name it, they want to. joining us now is the chairman of project 21 and the author of the brand notebook put you back
7:28 pm
and change. how joe biden's policy hurt. you heard that list from the squad. which one do you think is the most egregious suggestion? >> do you think aoc is faking this? when i hear her say that the supreme court when it says congress you must act, that somehow the supreme court is acting like a legislature? my head hurts. i taught constitutional law at george mason. i specifically taught a seminar on the legislative process. hearing her, i actually feel dumber than i did before ever learning anything about the constitution and the supreme court. you do not change the rules of
7:29 pm
the court system because you are unhappy with the outcome. that is what banana republics do. our founders gave us an independent court so that political pressures had no bearing on their ability to discern what the law actually is and uphold our constitution. >> i want to see aoc issue a subpoena on justice cavanaugh. i want to see how that goes down. are you kidding me? because they don't like the ruling they will issue a subpoena to yank it in front of a political body? she doesn't quite understand how the constitutional thing and separation of powers works. >> i would just say this. bless her heart. you really cannot be this stupid by accident. >> fair enough. stay with me here. i want to move on to the courts
7:30 pm
of affirmative action which was pivotal. it is causing liberals heads to explode. they are even using it to call asians white supremacist. i am not joking. i am not making this up. the atlantic writer jamil hall took aim at americans celebrating the decision riding to one woman that she gladly carried the water for white supremacy and stabbed the folks in the back whose people fought diligently for asian american rights in america. joining us now is can issue, the president of color us united and a board member of students for fair admissions, the group that sued harvard and unc. still with us is horace cooper. your reaction to what has happened here? >> i am going to have to say this. unfortunately jamil bill comment
7:31 pm
is reminiscent of a segment of the collective wisdom of the black community against asians. my new book school of walk i talk about how one san francisco board member called asians house n-word because asians were protesting the admissions policies of their selective school. some of these americans truly believe that asian americans are cheaters. they believe that they steal from the tests that they improperly cheat on exams. this is very sad, jason. it is very sad because i don't want this to happen for anybody. i want respect. when a community is excellent academically, they should be respected for it. and said you see people like jemele hill and other members of the black community go after asian americans.
7:32 pm
>> horace, what is your take on what kenny says? he makes a very important point. we are supposed to be a meritocracy. you win it by merit. because a certain community is thriving academically, they get called unfathomable words and attacks. i'm glad this case finally came to the supreme court. what are your thoughts, horace? >> i am glad it came to the supreme court. project 21 in this lawsuit said that we should not have any type of discrimination. it is clear to me that we shouldn't be discriminating against asian americans. but we also shouldn't be discrimination against white americans. we shouldn't be discriminating against any americans. those schools need to understand that the legacy of race-based school admissions comes from
7:33 pm
plessy ferguson, separate but equal. it wasn't the injustice of saying that would was a black person that was violated. the whole injustice was that a citizen was being denied the ability to compete and use the resources and go to a school. we support the ability of all americans, asians, blacks and whites, to be able to join in, compete. if some achieved well, i say congratulations. i also say shame on jamel hill and shame on any black americans that attack asians because quote, they are too excellent. >> kenny, i want to get your quick reaction to what the princeton professor said about the affirmative action ruling. have a look. >> we will return to elite
7:34 pm
institutions, more specifically being the space for a particular population, for predominately white and asian students. we will begin to see a kind of segregated higher education landscape. >> what is your reaction? >> i think they are just going to have to put up with it. they are just going to have to put up with the fact that more asians will get into harvard. more asians will get into princeton. they really don't like that for some reason. why? why does the ivy league not like the fact that their class might become 38% or 40% asian? what is wrong with that? are the asians getting in because of preference? no. they are getting in because of merit. they are getting in because asians have 35% of the top sat scores in the nation. they get in because that is their merit and that is the just reward for their merit. if you are an elite school like
7:35 pm
harvard or princeton you should be getting the most elite candidates academically. asians happen to be the most elite candidates academically. >> you know the kids that are graduating and moving forward, they should be able to do it because of their own merit regardless of their skin or ethnicity or cultural backgrounds. if you work hard and work smart and outpace people, then you should get rewarded for that. the asian culture that i know thrives in that. not all of them. some of them are as stupid as anybody i know. but a lot of them are wicked smart too. they should be the ones that advance. i wish i had more time on this topic but i've got to keep moving. have a wonderful fourth of july. back to the future made me think we had flying cars and cool outfits by 2015. i have the cool outfits, as you all well know, but no flying yet. could that be on the horizon?

soon you may not either if you have the money. one california company got something called a special air worthiness certificate from the federal aviation administration which means it can start test driving its flying electric car any day. eight lef aeronautics two people vertically and fly in any direction all while avoiding traffic. it only cost you the cool $300,000. if you have ever dreamt of being like marty mcfly or george
7:42 pm
jetson, this is your chance. joining me now is the ceo jim duke of knee. he is the cofounder and ceo. thanks for joining us. we've heard about this and dreamt about this. you've got the real deal, it sounds like. how does this work? >> thanks for hosting me. that's actually a good comparison to back to the future. this is how we started. it works simple. on the ground it is just an electric car. it's a regular ev. you park as an ev and do anything and it looks like ev. however, inside there is a distributed electric propulsion. there is eight propellers controller motor systems which allows you to rise up vertically and fly forward. it's called the efficient flying. it turns on the side when the passenger side becomes the bottom wing and the driver side becomes the top wing and you drive forward as a plane.
7:43 pm
it is saving you a lot of energy. it's not exactly back to the future, but this is something more real. >> how do you avoid hitting things like telephone poles and other flying vehicles and bridges and things like that? >> that's a good question. first of all, obviously the faa will give us permission. i want to clarify. it is for very limited certificate. it is for a very limited area where we can fly in very limited purposes for which we can fly. however the car itself and the technology allows you to detect power lines and anything above you. the reason we think it's going to go out is there will be a lot of waitlisted areas where you are allowed to take off. and areas where you are not allowed to take off. it will take time to work out. the faa is key here. i want to clarify something.
7:44 pm
we have permission to fly to test our flying vehicle and fly with it in a very, very limited area. the significance is that as the first traditional car as far as the parking looks and the driving which was allowed to take off vertically in the air. >> have you actually been up in the air? how many people have flown in it? >> i will try to defer to that question because we just got the certification. since we got the certification a couple weeks ago, yes, we have been doing some flight tests. i expect soon. >> good luck to you. >> i will have a demo for you guys. >> very good. al ef aeronautics. look it up and learn more. thank you. this is the future. it will be interesting.

to bring in tomi lahren and the host of top picks. tomi lahren is fearless. our producers gabby and blake asked people on the street about the declaration of independence. here is how it went to. >> do know what year the declaration of independence was signed? >> i hope its 1861. >> 1941. >> i know the month, july. >> do you know what year the declaration of independence was signed? >> zero idea. >> do know how many people signed it? >> 12? >> 5? >> 37? >> maybe 30? >> 56. do know who signature is the biggest on the declaration of
7:51 pm
independence? >> benjamin franklin. >> benjamin franklin. >> george washington. >> john hancock. >> all right, tommy. i love the answer the declaration of independence was signed in 1941. pretty scary what is out there. >> it is. actually those questions were much more difficult. i don't think the average american could answer questions that are far more simple than that. we have a problem on our hands, jason. this goes back to our education system. when i was younger i took civics. i was proud to take civics class. i got to learn about american history. i am only 30 years old but feel like kids these days. i sound like an old woman when i say that. kids these days are not learning civics. they are learning about pronouns and gender identity and maybe basket feminist weaving. i am not sure. they are not learning civics. when we asked people five or 10 years from now the same
7:52 pm
questions you just asked on the streets of new york city, i shudder at the thought on what we will get. >> one more question i want to show you that was asked. >> do know who wrote the star-spangled banner? >> no idea. >> will you sing it? >> no. >> king. what's her name? key. >> will you sing it? >> no. >> will you sing it? >> oh say can you see, by the dawns early light? >> all right. francis scott key would be somewhat impressed, but not really the answers we were looking for. >> you know what? i don't care if people don't know who wrote it, though that's a very important part of history. i just care that people salute the stars & stripes and stand for the national anthem and love
7:53 pm
their country. you don't have to love everything going on are love the president, but you should love your country more than you hate everything else. i hope people remember that tomorrow and every other day of the year. let's put some love on america because she deserves it. >> amen to that. you have got one of the biggest social media followings out there. i love what you posted about your pride flag. i think we have the graphic of this. there it is, tommy. explain this to america. >> listen eric there is nothing against pride month and the month of june. i think everybody got a little rainbow washed these last couple years. it became a little irritating. my message is simple. i don't care what you believe in or what you voted for or your pronouns. that is american. that flag represents you and all of us. that flag should waive the highest. salute the stars & stripes. you can have your flag and love your rainbow flag or love my
7:54 pm
tennessee state flag. it's the american flag that represents us all and we should be proud to be american. it represents every single one of us. >> that's right. you stand when the flag and national anthem is playing and take off your ball cap. you salute if you are in the military. you know what? you give thanks to the millions of americans who sacrificed their lives to give us the freedoms we celebrate this july 4th. tommy, love having on. have a wonderful holiday. the one part of our independence day pop quiz that almost everybody got right, the last bite explains. stay with us.
