9:06 pm
there to be violence at these parties where there's a massive amount of people that are in a very close proximity. my question is, where was the law enforcement contingent? it should have been assignedded to that particular block party. apparently, they weren't there because if they were, probably this would have been prevented. my question is, why wasn't there a police contingent on the property monitoring this from the very beginning? could it be because of the social aspects of this? here's something else that you won't hear from the baltimore police authorities or the city. that is you will never hear the word "gangs." although there's no doubt in my mind that this was gang

violence. police superintendent and the mayor have both refused to even use that word. instead, they call it social sets. if you can't even admit that there is gang violence, this is the root cause of these issues, how do you possibly confront it and work to solve these crimes? it is highly dangerous when you have a gang infested area and you don't have a proper response by law enforcement. >> randy sutton, thank you so much for your time and analysis. >> thanks so much for having me. >> first up in the crime round-up, pitch a -- wichita, kansas saw a shooting at a night club. police have arrested one suspect so far. they say they have been to
