americans who consider themselves patriotic, i believe is 39%. why do you think that is and how do we reverse course? >> part of the issue, it is difficult to be proud of the country when we are so divided. you have majority of your time taken by people who want you to believe one thing or another. the declaration of independence. we don't feel like it is run by individuals, who are moral and virtuous, but by groups who want us divided. it is difficult to feel patriotic in a hateful environment. resist what big groups want us to believe and go back to ourselves and celebrate and fight and believe and resist what people are asking us to do, which is to divide.
