west wing sunday night about 6:00. >> right, reuters reports the white house is now checking visitors logs, republicans demanding a secret service meeting sfleegs who the drugs belong to. >> kayleigh: politico suggesting a law enforcement source suggests it will be difficult even with surveillance cameras to track down the person who left the cocaine. sounds a lot like the supreme court leaker right?. >> steve: exactly like it. and brian we are so lucky today to have on the kirby couch kayleigh membering nanny who worked in the west wing for a good portion of american history so you can help us figure out what's going on. to start with. this heavily trafficked area, we just showed the west wing with the marine guard outside the very familiar gate. that's not the door we're talking about is it ino. so if you're looking at the white house there, if you're looking directly, over to the right there is an entrance between the old executive office building which is where the younger employees work, the vast

majority of employees in the west wing. there is a road in between called west executive and a tent coming out of the west wing. a lot of people go through there. staff goes through there, the press does not so you can rule out the press at this point. guests of staff go through there, my mom's been there, my dad, my husband. >> was she there sunday night? >> kayleigh: no, we did not bring cocaine when my family paraded through there. it is a heavily trafficked area, there are cubbies. i have to believe it was discovered quickly because there's a secret service dog sitting right there so it couldn't have been there for days and days it had to have been there for i would say minutes. >> let's think between the illegitimate child they don't want to acknowledge in arkansas, no questions on that, he doesn't want to take questions on the plea bargain of hunter biden, he doesn't want to take questions into why hunter biden is everywhere despite the sweetheart plea deal that he had. now joe biden's got to dodge questions about a package of cocaine in his white house.

information whatsoever. i would have gone to secret service saying guys i cannot go to the press without some sort of information. >> steve: give me a line, give me one line. so to speak. >> kayleigh: she says i've got something to share, the president and the first lady and hunter were not here this weekend. for it to be hunter biden he left friday he was at camp david, no way, inconceivable to think cocaine could sit for a 72 hour period. i would rule him out at this point. >> remember when joe biden was big into cracking down on crime. i miss those days. the year was 1991 and he thought hypothetically what happens if cocaine is bound someone or left somewhere. what about crack? >> if you have a piece of crack cocaine, no bigger than this quarter that i'm holding in my hand, if you're caught with that, you go to jail for five years. you get no probation.

you get nothing other than five years in jail. judge doesn't have a choice. >> steve: those were the good old days when it came to that kind of enforcement. you know what, the current restriction is, you know what the penalty is right now if you are caught with cocaine in dc because that was a schedule 2 -- it's a misdemeanor, essentially. but the search is on to try to figure out who exactly it was. but i was thinking about it like this. because the first family was gone, who could it possibly have been. and you know that there are a lot of staff members who bring people in on sunday night. there were tours on friday, saturday, sunday night as well. could it be a donor? could it be a staff member? could it be a member of an influential union aligned with the president? and it's like, hey, i'm in town can i get a tour. sure. put your stuff right there. >> put your cocaine in the can you bey hole and your phone in the other one, plenty of room.

>> steve: i was talking to somebody in federal law enforcement in dc yesterday, been to the white house many times and they were speculating, they said my first thought was that it was a 26-year-old on a tinder date and they say like, hey, you want to see the white house? because that -- you know, there are, apparently there is a list, the usher's office has a list of vips who go in that door but it's not in the official electronic wave system as i understand, right. >> kayleigh: yeah, exactly. and the media, it's funny they think it's all a laughing matter that an undisclosed unknown powder was feet from the president of the united states potentially much watch. >> they're kind of blaming it on the tourists. on the tourists. >> public area. >> are people careless with their cocaine. >> it's an expensive drug, it is. >> so many questions there. >> a lot of questions. >> we are not quite to the like jimmy carter level where put approximately officials in the white house are in trouble and

>> carley: we are back with headlines starting with a fox news alert. two new jersey fire fighters killed overnight battling a fire on this cargo ship in the port of newark. officials say the first responders got trapped as flames tore through several vehicles parked on the multi level ship just before 9:30 last night. several other fire fighters were hurt and got treatment at the hospital. the cause of the fires is still under investigation. the justice dem is appealing the court ruling that temporarily blocks government communications with social media companies. the white house was asked about the ruling yesterday. listen here. >> do you disagree with the judge's ruling that this coordination was a form of censorship that specifically targeted conservative speech? >> look, we disagree with the decision. i'll leave it there

>> the sun will come out tomorrow. >> brian: not in st. louis when they lose, they really care >> carley: bye guys. >> brian: bye? >> kayleigh: yeah. >> steve: out at king supers which is a grocery store division in kroger out in arapaho colorado, there was an employee there, a guy by the name of santino marolo and he was minding his business working in the store and somebody said there's guys out there filling up a cart of laundry deter gentleman stuff like that and they're stealing it. so he took out his phone and he followed them as they started to unload night a black chevy trax pictured right there. what's interesting is as he's out there, of course it's company policy don't engage with the people don't do anything. so he didn't touch them. he simply was talking to them but at one point he did something which was brilliant in law enforcement, and that is

there's a piece of aluminum foil over the license plate and he ripped it off and he took a picture of it and then he shared it on social media and 1.5 million people on tik tok saw it. >> kayleigh: amazing. and what's incredible to me is the employees, they are always punished harsher than the perpetrators of these crimes. we saw that at lululemon the two women fired. there was another incident at another king supers in november, five employees fired, one was an immigrant the only job he had ever known was this job. another lost their healthcare. meanwhile the guy who did it, the perpetrator, he walked. 10 days, that's all he got. >> brian: here's how it sounded. listen. >> these guys are good. look at 'em, stealing. really, bro? you got to resort to this? economy's not that bad.

better get it while the getting's good. . >> brian: one guy's already been arrested. they already found out, so he's been processed. this guy gets fired for doing what he's supposed to be doing. he's a military officer who are probably handled this thing brilliantly and i just can't believe these people at the super market will not understand that the good guy is actually holding the camera and that if you allow these people to get away with this, it's $500 of detergent here, you can imagine what's happening at their other stores and these guys sit there, basically, they were so panicked, one guy starts driving away without the other two, another guy clearly forgot his belt or that is what the kids are wearing now his age who try to steal things. so this is what they walk away with. so this guy, the military officer who goes out there and tapes it and provides the

identification that is going to allow for the eventual arrests of the other two, gets fired. >> steve: he did. he went -- a week later, this all happened on father's day. a week later he goes back and he finds out he was suspended and he's got his union rep there, the union is representing him and they're like we're recommending termination. wait, what, i didn't break the rules, i didn't engage them i was just taking pictures p he said this to cbs in colorado. he said when i looked there was already a guy half way headed out with a food cart full of laundry detergents and scent boosters and what have you. my first instinct record. all i did was record criminals and reveal them. i would never let any criminal conduct slide, especially when it's happening right in front of me. i hope this changes the policy, talking about this grocery store, king supers a division of kroger and gives power back to retailers like myself. the statement from the store is

officers who are first responders to the scene, who are now second responders to the scene a real good perspective of what the danger is and what the situation is. so they can go in and understand what's really going on. they can see license plates from above. they've already used footage from a drone to convict an assault suspect who went after an older person and just clobbered them. the drone got the whole thing. police roll up, the operator of the drone told the officers on the ground, hey, that's the suspect in that green toyota with the red hat on and, boom, they went right after him. the bad side of this, aclu and others are just saying, wait a minute, is this now public surveillance? are you going a step too far? are they going to be hovering over watching us and jotting down where we're going? maybe, but for the moment santa monica police are saying that they're not doing that. that they're using this for legitimate responses. when you call it gets dispatched. they're not proceed actively going out to monitor us but the

♪ >> steve: president biden is having a terrible, awful, no good, very bad week. so let's take a look at some of the headaches facing the white house on our tower of trouble right here. just six days ago, the u.s. supreme court scrapped the president's plan to wipe out nearly half a trillion dollars

in student debt. then, sunday, the white house was evacuated when coke was found in the west wing. and on tuesday, a federal judge struck another blow to the biden administration blocking them from talking to social media companies in attempts to censor their content. here with reaction is senior editor of reason magazine, robbie suavey. good morning to you. >> thanks for having me. >> steve: i'm sure they're sitting around that big check in the oval office saying we can't get a break. why all the bad news robbie. >> the courts dealt a massive blow to what i would characterize as biden's horrific overreach on so many issues on speech, on tech, on student loans. of course we also had the affirmative action decision that obviously predates biden. but, you know, biden undercut himself on student loans, right? he did it via this heroes act which obviously was not meant to forgive student loans in this way.

even nancy pelosi thought he did not have the constitutional authority to do that, then did he it and they were tight lipped about it. but the supreme court stepping in there and then, you know, we can't -- this louisiana court decision that will stop the biden administration from censoring speech on social media is huge. it is the first setback that the censorship regime has ever encountered, this new attempt to kind of force facebook twitter et cetera to take down conservative speech. it's a great win for free speech. >> steve: the administration and we'll talk about this at the top of the hour, the administration is going to appeal it to, i think it's the fifth circuit down in new orleans and say, hey, can you put this on hold while we continue to try to censor social media. so let's see where that goes. at the same time, robbie, you look at his staff. two members of his administration, the attorney general and the secretary of homeland security who republicans say have been derelict in their duties and

they need to be impeached. >> sure, and the republicans i think are doing good work on this weaponization of the federal government. obviously we want to see more results but they've pointed out a lot of inconsistencies on how the hunter biden matter has been handled, the inconsistencies with david weiss and merrick garland saying, oh, he had total authority to go after hunter biden. >> steve: right. >> and then the new york times actually confirming in like paragraph 21 of its report, well, actually we have another person who says that's not true. it's just headache after headache for biden and it remains to be seen if this catches up with him in the minds of the voters. >> steve: sure. you know in the minds of the voters and in the minds of everybody else, when you heard the news about the cocaine on sunday night, probably like everybody else you immediately thought, oh, hunter biden lives at the white house. although the white house says he comes in another door so it wasn't him. but this embarrassment just

brings more scrutiny to the president and in tock the hunter biden sweetheart deal which a judge in delaware is going to either approve or kick to the curb coming up in about three weeks. they're going to decide whether or not the deal is appropriate. it's just a bad look. >> absolutely. and, look, i'm a libertarian, i tend toward thinking drugs should be legalized but it shouldn't be one standard for rich and powerful and well-connected people like hunter biden and a different standard for everybody else. if you don't have a famous father and get the book thrown at you for similar charges, i don't think that's fair. yes, i understand i think it's likely what was found at the white house related to hunter biden, probably a staff member, maybe a journalist, those people go in and out. but nobody would be asking questions or wondering if it weren't for the larger scandal and the double standard that it points out in our justice system. >> steve: real quick exit

why would they screw up a holiday doesn't sound like the sand sharks i know. >> kayleigh: not the ones i know in florida. what do you need to know before your ex trip. long island regional director for the sparks reservation and historic preservation george joins us now. george, pretty scary there. i understand you've been working at jones beach since the 70s. have you ever seen anything like this? >> no. i started my career as a summer employee in 1977 so i've been around a while and over the last few years the amount of sharks being spotted, spotted and coming close to shore has increased greatly. you know, years ago, every, i'd say two years we'd see a shark that might be close to shore but as i say the last two years regular sightings and as you already mentioned, on the morning of july 4th our drone operator spotted those sharks coming close to the shore outside of a field called feel

three at robert villages so we did not open up for swimming right away because of those sharks. life guards go on dewey at 8:00. this was just before 8:00 and then they went out to sea again. we waited a little bit. our normal protocol is an hour but there were 50 sharks so we waited a little bit longer until we were really comfortable and then we reopened for swimming at 9:30. >> steve: terrific. george, two questions. one, why would all those sharks be clumped up together? were they feeding on something like a school of little fish? and secondly why are we seeing so many shark encounters right now? i just googled it, there are a bunch of theories, the weather, the climate, you know, development, stuff like that. >> so i'm not a marine biologist. alls i can tell you what i've seen and closer to the beaches along the shoreline, we've seen a tremendous amount of bait fish and bunker fish. those are the little fish that the larger fish feed off of.

last year along the beaches both at another major facility jones beach and at robert moses, the amount of bait and bunker fish close to the shore expand nearly the entire length of the park, four miles. >> steve: wow. >> and they went about 200 feet into the atlantic. that's thousands -- tens of thousands, maybe even hundreds of thousands of these small fish. so, of course, the larger marine life has been coming in to feed off of them. you know, we have drone video of sharks going through all those bait fish, and it's just -- that's how we've seen it for the last few years. and, you know, we've been saying it's our new normal because we have to react to that. we have to be ready for that. so we were very fort this year, governor hochul and new york state legislature gave us additional funding. so, you know, drones is the answer in our mind. we can survey the beaches. we can see -- and these new drones, they are amazing. you know, when we first started seeing these a few years ago, we

went to a local department store to get some drones because we wanteded to make sure that we kept all of the swimmers safe. now these improved drones, they have the capabilities of staying up in the air when wind gusts get higher whereas the old ones we would have to bring down right away. the cameras are clearer so you can see better what iss in the water. because, you know, it's not only the sharks, we're seeing dolphins, stingrays, even whales closer than we ever have. >> brian: right. and the good news is humans don't taste good to sharks. so when they bite in they usually let go. so just be patient and they'll eventually let go of you. >> steve: i think we need a bigger drone. >> but, you're right, it is the fact that the bites have been accidents, that's what the experts tell us, because, you know, they're feeding, murky water, there's bait fish and then a feet or whatever something goes in and they get bitten. but again that's not their food
