house. if he want to lose to joe biden again, and have an 82-year-old joe biden in the white house let's nominate don doom. donald trump, when trp ran in 2020, he ran on the economy. then having an untrust are on they opponent -- untrustworthy opponent. is he doing enough to beat biden. >> two parts to, that do you agree with christie. you. >> most people on the right, like trump, they like. because he is a 3 time loser. i can win, he can't, i haven't heard desantis say

digits. he can express frustration with that. but at the same time that goes to central story that story that was told out of mid terms florida was a big success. he has to ride that, tom, you brought up a great point, chris christie going direct lear after trump he said there is one lane that one lane donald trump is ahead of, if you want to be nominee you have to go through donald trump, he has been unapologetic about his efforts. >> ron desantis was asked about this, this morning on "sunday morning futures." >> they are narratives, the media does not want me to be in the nominee, that is clear. why? because they know i'll beat biden, but more importantly they know i will deliver on these things, we'll stop the

i was pregnant during the pandemic. getting the vaccine are not getting the vaccine. they did not take a hard stance on it until after i had already given birth. i was one of those multitude of women that did not feel the guidance was straight on. i talked to my ob/gyn and i ultimately decided to get the vaccine. i never felt like the guidance was clear until far later. which is kind of what i am seeing here. the guidance does not seem to be particularly clear. the finding of this in general and having the conversation about it become so much more challenging because it can mean different things. people who were born female that lived their lives as male who may try to breast-feed chest feed and potentially need hormonal health to get it started. i have sympathy for people that

that they want so she is sitting pretty with them right now. in that respect, she has kind of been successful. i don't really think she is doing her homework. i think she is just trying to win her weird progressive thoughts. >> she is in a bit of a pickle. after attending the met gala and wearing this rather, you know, infamous dress where it attacks the rich on the back of the dress. she got some trouble therefore attending, accepting gifts, gratuities, entertainment, that sort of thing. i want to take a broader look at some of her more nonserious moments. >> ima and aspiring morning person. i want to be a morning person. i will do my best to be a

morning person. >> listen. listen. okay. >> there is this really false idea that if you care about makeup or if your interests are in beauty and fashion, that that is somehow frivolous. i think that these are some of the most substantive decisions that we make. ♪ ♪ what is it good for ♪ ♪ absolutely nothing ♪ >> i think perhaps to some extent, could this be politically effective for her, tom? >> she is good at the social media stuff. when i see her talking on the floor when she is doing these committee questions and answers, she is not as impressive as when she is doing makeup tips. i do subscribe to her instagram.

we wear makeup on this show so sometimes i need a little -- [laughter] >> to do adam i have to use my wife's stuff. she is good at this kind of stuff. i do not begrudge her that. that is why she is an effective politician. you can see she runs into trouble. she got that tax the rich dress, she did not even pay for it. everybody knows that she is a phony. but, you know, whatever works for her, i think. >> she has been smashed by political competition in the back. a video showing her as a younger woman dancing that got a lot of slack. it seems like it backfired. >> sometimes i think it's cute to see some of these videos. she is acting like she is trying

to aspire to be an influence. that answer, when she was asked walking along the river, something powerful that people just do not know about you, the only thing that i could come up with is i do my homework. i am mediocre at best. i will show up for congressional hearings and i will have read the pamphlet that someone put together for me. i expect that out of her. even cnn has called her out with a very wobbly relationship with fax. a 2019 article that says she has a hard time when she speaks, she misspoke facts about the keystone pipeline. her to talk video where she essentially made a tiktok account saying we should not be banding to talk, that is banning free speech. there is a national security when it comes to tiktok. does not really understand. that was a really pathetic answer.

i think a great influence her when her congressional days are over and that is about it. >> will be do these walk and talks from now on, i think you should have to do a side shot to show the cameraman walking with the camera equipment on his back. whenever they do those stupid walk and talks, it is so phony and fake. >> they always deserve the credit. always. the liberal media goes all in connecting this hit film to right wing extremists. what that really tells you about the movie next. ♪

i have not seen it yet but essentially it is talking about human trafficking and one person's effort to combat it. a fiscal budget of $101 million to combat human trafficking. expanding it to another $14 million with an estimate of about 1 million adults and children trafficked every single gear. what are they talking about this movie being about fake facts? >> this is june 2023 for our own department of state. it is real. that's why i'm confused why any publication would want to bring up. i do think the language used is particularly telling. they say that there is a link. not so much that they are upset, but perhaps who the actor is linked to. the studios come at the studio

that created the chosen. the crowdfunding aspect of this. so many people that they may view as conservatives are interested in seeing and supporting this film. there is one particular, the actor here has gone on podcasts with steve bannon, mike lindell, i feel like we just do not like the circles that the people in the circle of the movie are in. i don't know if it is anything other than that. any real link. >> it sounds like he is doing a media tour. there is an interview with him. this is what he had to say this wednesday. >> the script was phenomenal. i saw a movie taken years ago and this is a real story about

taken. a quintessential good versus evil. those that want to protect the children, those that want to exploit the children. good versus evil. so many things that are happening across the border. children disappearing and whatnot. i looked at it and i thought of my own children. what i defend them with my life, absolutely, without even a thought. >> he brings up the movie taken. it is also about human trafficking. there is a taken one, take into and taken three. then an nbc series based off of taken. it is a real issue. >> molly is exactly right. this is a real issue. it is not some made up moral panic. it is interesting to hear them

say this as a result of moral panic when they are always in support of the democrat party. coming up with true panic. a complete and total lie. it is very real and a situation that is getting far, far worse. people like president biden and the media that support him are gladly opening up our borders wide open, human smuggling has become, the washington times reported a year ago it has become a $6 billion a year industry. these people are making a fortune off the policies that they embraced by this white house, that are supported by people like cnn and the publications that try to claim that this is some sort of white wing conspiracy.

♪ welcome back to the big weekend show. when is it all right for your kids to get on social media? matthew mcconaughey and his wife decided to start letting him use it this year for his 15 birthday. is that too young or too old to logon? my personal view because it is coercive and will rot all of our brains is the best way to deal with kids is give them lots of stuff that is way more interesting than social media like hunting and fishing and anything to do with nature, baseball, especially dangerous things, like illicit. [laughter] >> like snake hunting? >> exactly. anything that is kind of scary. then there is less of an

appetite for social media. you are a doctor, you have devoted your life to figure out what is ailing us. how bad is this for kids? >> i am a doctor but also a mother of three kids. i touched on social media and its health risks years ago. ultimately when it comes to social media it is another form of addiction. it leads to lies and mental illness. this is for adults, too. unfortunately, it is out there. it is really hard to not allow your children to be on at some point. there will just be a switch. absolutely not, i think some 30 -year-olds should not be on it. i will be honest, i think it's okay to let your children be honored up 15 years old. do the parents have oversight? are they checking it? they are also restricting the amount of time he has on it.

we check our devices during the week. they have a very timed amount of electronics on the weekend. if they do something bad grade, bad attitude -- >> sitting down for dinner is a place where none of that goes on is a good thing. your kids are probably on the younger side. >> they are two and six. they do not have social media. >> i was gen x, go play outside. i heard that a lot. i don't know what i will do. i don't know what the right ages. i think the doctor had the right thought. is the kid ready? i don't know if it is an age thing, but i'm not there yet. thankfully. >> i always turn to you for parenting advice. what about the idea of matthew mcconaughey deciding to kind of make a big pronouncement about the dangers of social media by

posting a video on social media. >> all of a sudden he will have these random followers. >> that is the key thing. with social media, the rule should be social media should be like your social life. the same rules apply. if your kid says dad can i go down the corner play with my friends, yeah. that's great. dad, can i go down to the city park, stand on the bench and ask strangers if they like my outfit? no, that is not a good way to spend your time. if that is what they are doing, kids do you social media to talk to their friends. people were afraid when snap chat came out because things disappeared or whatever, kids, teenagers, had a healthier relationship with that snap chat than they did with instagram because the stuff disappeared and they were not worrying about the way they looked in the number of likes they were getting and things like that.

just between your friends and you notice your kids are following their friends and they are following the back instead of having thousands of people follow them, it is probably okay. >> a new poll shows, i think, 54% of teenagers say it would be hard to give up social media. from personal experience, i think, each of my children have given up all of it at some point or another. mainly because they are just busy with cooler stuff to be doing. more fun stuff to be doing. >> the kids that are addicted and spending too much time on their electronics, all you have to do is look at the parents. exactly. stick around. the big four is next. ♪

hard that you can actually break your neck going in it. there've been people paralyzed, people that have died. this is one of the major dangers of social media that we worry about our kids seeing because they want to be cool and if they do these hashtags they get more likes. >> don't do it. i am a sailor so i fall off the boat the right way, accidentally. >> france is banning fireworks in that country ahead of the countries celebrations happening this coming friday. they have been dealing with these widespread anti-police riots in which some of the participants, some of the protesters themselves have used fireworks and chop them out authorities. it could be an interesting week ahead for paris and those suburbs. we will see it in flames and hopefully it all stays peaceful. something to watch. >> insane. >> yeah, it is wild.
