rise after the war torn country's bid to join the alliance is denied. no blueprint seems to be offered. >> ainsley: jacqui heinrich is live with the latest for us. >> good morning to you guys. that's right. president zelenskyy did not hide his outrage yesterday that the nato summit is going to end without even an conditional invitation to ukraine. this morning we have an event added to the schedule that was not there yesterday. president biden and other g-7 leaders are going to be meeting with zelenskyy to announce a joint declaration of support for ukraine that includes long-term security assessment. it is not yet known how much each country is going to pledge here but it is being compared to the $3.8 billion annual definite money that we spend for israel, according to some reports. this is going to be the first time we see president biden with zelenskyy after zelenskyy warned that russia might force ukraine to give up a future bid for nato to end the war.

he tweeted it's unprecedented and absurd when time frame is not set neither for the invitation nor for ukraine's membership while at the same time vague wording about conditions is even added for inviting ukraine. it seems there is no readiness neither to invite ukraine to nato nor make it a member of the alliance. biden's undersecretary of defense tells fox the timing is just not right here and it's not limited to the fact that bringing ukraine into the alliance with a war ongoing right now would bring all of the allies into direct conflict with russia. >> has to meet those same standards that every other nato member does in terms of democratic reforms, security sector reform. interoperability which means our military is going to work together. so there are conditions that every country has to make. so the door is wide open for ukraine there are still some stepping left go. >> meantime, there is bipartisan push in congress to prohibit the u.s. from giving ukraine cluster bombs proposed amendment to the
