biden is good at foreign affairs. he went over there. he got sweden. in he is going to get ukraine in as soon as the war is over. so they are so happy with how things have turned out. now, on the republican side, there are a bunch of people who want to make sure that joe biden does not get a second term. and yesterday we started getting some of the numbers of how much the republicans have raised in the second quarter. tim scott's campaign manager put out the note that the scott campaign had raised $6 million in the second quarter. they have got a total war chest at this point of $21 million, which is great. and, you know, there's the metric where if you want to get on the stage you have got hit 40,000 unique donors. tim scott so far has 53,000 unique donors. and some of the donors are very, very rich. like one of tim scott's wealthy donors is be oracle founder larry ellison. >> ainsley: that means he

qualifies for the first debate. in order to qualify 1% and 40,000 in donations. 1% in three of the polls. three eligible polls. and chris christie, he has to still garner that 1% support. he has in one poll. he reached 3% in the morning consult poll but he needs two more qualifying polls. >> brian: who else have you got? desantis in. vivek ramaswamy is. in nikki haley is in and governor chris christie feels like is he going to get there. >> ainsley: did you say trump? >> brian: trump i don't think is he going to go. last word is he is not going to go to the first two debates. doesn't look like he is going to show up. >> steve: he should. >> brian: interesting the no labels, the no labels convention is going to take place and in it there are a moderate group as democrats and republicans in it. and both sides fear no labels getting involved. and if the right candidate comes, they will suck some people away. and joe manchin said yeah, i will show up at the first convention. i will speak for a while. that's somebody that would take, in theory, some people like

governor huntsman. one of the founders of no labels. considered a moderate republican, he might take some votes away. many people think they would take more votes away from joe biden. it's people the 38% that want to see a rematch. happy if it was right now be biden and trump. but the other people might look for another alternative. so keep your eye on that. >> steve: so, in addition to, you know, polling at a certain place in national polls. you also have to have those 40,000 unique donors. now, what that means is you have got to give at least $1 to qualify as that person would be one unique donor. how are a couple of republicans getting the donors. vivek ramaswamy is promising a 10% commission on money raised for the campaign. so, that's one way. >> ainsley: 10% of everything he raises he will give back to the people who donated? >> steve: if you are a fundraiser and raise 100 bucks you get 10% of it.

to see if those were all of the same tornado or just a couple of tornadoes. so, the worst of the weather is now moving across the great lakes and eventually the northeast again and then we also have the potential for severe storms for the northern to the central plains across the ohio and tennessee river valley up towards the northeast. this is today's threat. and can you see those showers and thunderstorms really starting to erupt as we get into the afternoon hours. into friday and saturday. so we are stuck in this pattern of wet weather especially for areas that received historic amounts of rain over the last couple of days. then the heat, huge story for the southern tier of the country from calvary to the southeast. and we are looking at an all-time record being threatened in las vegas. and this is not just a couple of days. this is several weeks event. we are worried about the power grid, obviously. listen to your local officials and keep cool. because this is dangerous potentially deadly heat. all right, steve, ainsley, brian, over to you. >> steve: all right. thank you very much, j.d.
