larger picture, brian, is that i'm on a congressional commission, bipartisan, that's looking at the national defense strategy of 2022. and what we see is the military is actually over extended given all the missions it has. we are focused on three primary geographic areas where our vital national interest are involved. the indo-pacific region, obviously. europe as we well know and also the middle east. but, at the same time, we have all these mission requirements in those areas and also some in africa. the army is the smallest it's been since prior to world war ii. the navy is at a 40-year low in terms of its size. i mean, the air force, excuse me. the navy, their requirement, brian, is for 371 ships, according to their secretary of the navy and the chief of naval operations. and they are going down to 291. so, as the military is shrinking in size, the requirements are not going away.

to see, you know, the impact they are having. >> ainsley: you know, what's interesting, too, you are attracting younger people. and younger people, you read the statistics, it's sad they don't want to go to church anymore. they are not raising their kids in the church. we all in the south grew up going to church on sunday even if you spent the night out on saturday you went. people raising their hands. music is on the screen so you don't even have to be -- you don't even have to know the bible. it's welcome to anyone. but we are seeing tattoos and shaved heads and tighter shirts. church looks different. church looks different. >> you just described me. [laughter] >> everyone is welcome. >> ainsley: looks like heaven, right? all walks of life are welcome. >> we have been impacted and changed by the power of the holy spirit and by jesus. and we have been changed by being a part of this church. and the mission of it. and so, i mean, it's amazing that we're there planted and rooted in our local church getting to see what god is doing through our church every week.

>> ainsley: isaiah your music, at our age all of our ages you have been through some stuff, right? i look at my little daughter when she thinks she has had a stressful day, baby, i just pray that god protects you because i know she is going to go through stuff. and she is going to listen to music, like your music, to help her get through. this do you realize the power that god has given to you bless other people? >> i don't usually realize the impact that this music has but like we get on stages like just outside sound checking and people walking down the street and singing the lyrics as we are testing the songs. you never really realize until you get out there and see that these songs live with these people in their hearts. >> ainsley: how did you get into huston and how did you become christian. >> my mom was over the children's clear choir. it wasn't a choice. it was a demand. i fell in love with music a young age. my parents found out i had a gift at 8. i followed that. and here we are. >> ainsley: is she so proud of you. >> she is probably watching now. hey, mom. >> ainsley: you did a great job. the bible says if you raise them

up in the lord they won't depart. they will come back. how did you become a part of this group. >> group in church was raised in texas and moved to charlotte to be a part of elevation church. >> ainsley: really? >> it's changed my life but i'm thankful about it the songs you are talking about it i love that now we are in a space where you can see a video on an app. and you are just like you may have no connection to the church. but, yet, there is a powerful message of hope and i just love that we are a part of that, we are hoping that we are able to release more of it into the world that needs faith and hope. >> ainsley: chris, are you the song writer? are all of you the songwriters? >> yeah, one of. >> ainsley: you are. one of my good friends from high school wade joy writing a book an amazing guy. i love this -- he was one of the ones in our high school who stuck to the word. who didn't drink at the parties but was so cool and so talented and his mom taught with my mom. he was your pastor for a while, the worship pastor. >> he was the worship pastor. >> ainsley: god has called him to do other things now. i have heard your story for a

long time. tell us about your new tour, where we can find o more information. >> just a month ago we released can you imagine? going out next week going to be in savannah, georgia. greenville, south carolina. nashville, tennessee. we are going to be singing some of the songs from that album and we go out with our pastor, steven if y furdyk these elevatn nights are incredible because we get to see people show up and have their faith encouraged and just worship god together and to be in that atmosphere is awesome. >> real quickly what do you say to the people watching that don't have any faith at all? >> listen, stay encouraged. i know there's a lot of things fighting to discourage you, fighting to grab your attention and pull it everywhere, but just trust -- trust god, trust his plans for you are good. trust that he is kind in every way. and that he is full of grace and mercy, that he loves you more
