medical emergencies on board a flight from las vegas to atlanta. the plane was delayed on the runway in 111-degree heat, with no ac, and get this, they were stuck there for four hours. people were allowed to get off, but were told that they would have to wait days for a new flight. a fox news field producer who was there describing the mayhem. >> you're telling us that we have multiple medical emergencies on the flight, the plane is still cannot get any cooler than it is, it is still hot, and we are sitting on the plane, and you are telling us, you have a choice to either sit here and get possibly sick and watch all this go down, or not get to your destination for days? i mean, people have jobs. we have lives that we need to get back to where you we are gog and you're basically telling us here on this hot plane or you are not getting to where you need to go. >> jeanine: she also said that babies were screaming.

people were passing out. and folks were going to the bathroom on themselves. oh, and can you imagine your captain saying this? >> hi, everyone. this is your captain speaking. we certainly do apologize for the situation being very hot. this is the best cooling that will occur while passenger -- passengers on the aircraft. >> jeanine: and it isn't just the heat that is running air travel. check out this delayed flight full of taylor swift fans. ♪ romeo's take me somewhere we can be alone ♪ ♪ i'll be waiting ♪ ♪ all that's left to do is run ♪ >> jeanine: so it makes a lot of sense americans would rather just take the bus to reach their destinations on time. [laughs] okay, so greg. you often fly commercial, right? what about the fact -- >> harold: delta. >> greg: exactly.

>> jeanine: so if you are on this flight, 110, 111-degree weather, people are throwing up on themselves and pooping on themselves, doesn't it seem they should have made a decision to kind of let everybody off, as opposed to sitting there and saying, if you get off, you can't get another fight for days? >> greg: i think what you are seeing is another example of what you call an unbending mind. this is when somebody is in charge, will not bend because of rules. and you see this whenever you get a ticket from a meter maid. no matter how you talk, it just doesn't change. it is true artificial intelligence. no one will actually change the mission. if there's any trouble. because nobody wants the responsibility of going rogue. like you are sitting there going, we should just take the airplane back, open up the doors, let people out, nobody wants to do that. is it me, though, i feel like everything large that we accepted as successful or effective is no longer working.

especially since biden was elected, whether you look at cities, people used to love the cities, the school's. now you just go on any social media and you just see brawls. you don't see anybody learning anything. you look at science, people are questioning actual science. you can now have more than one gender oratorical genders and you can change it no matter what, kids can make decisions, got sports as a problem, now you've got travel. it feels like we are not having progress, we are having like a de-evolution because i think we do have -- i think we have a disconnected government, very aloof come has no idea what is going on in the world. mayor pete will offer all of these words come he is really good with words but has absolutely no deeds. he is like the opposite of trump who would say things that would set your hair on fire, but none of this stuff would ever happen. none of this would happen because you figure out, let's just get him in a room, 24 hours, get this fixed, and he usually did it. but mayor pete is like that smooth talking ticket agent at the counter that says, you know, i'm sorry, we cannot offer

you a hotel vulture, even though we canceled your flight, but we will give you a 40% coupon off of dasani water that you can get over at the newsstand. i think it is amazing that people are paying for an experience that you wouldn't allow inmates at gitmo. this is like "cool hand luke" territory. prison guards would lose their jobs over this sort of behavior but this is the kind of treatment that happens when you have unbending minds and suspension of rules of human decency in the air with strangers. this is what happens. people get territorial. no one wants to lose their jobs. >> jeanine: you know, jesse, in 2011, i looked this up because i remembered there were some problems. there was a laws that passed, enhanced protections for airline passengers, and it says for all domestic flights, each covered u.s. aircraft carrier shall provide a passenger on the flight experiencing a tarmac

delay in an airport the opportunity to deplane before the tarmac to play exceeds three hours in duration. there all of these qualifiers. we have this law protecting passengers now, but at the same time, if you've got people with the ability to say "you get off this plane, you are not flying for days," what good do the regulations -- >> jesse: they shredded the airline bill of rights just like the regular bill of rights. we don't get any rights. as a licensed commercial airline pilot, i actually know how the air-conditioning systems work. the reason you don't get cool air when you are taxiing for takeoff is because the air-conditioning is generated by the engines, so when you are up in the air and the engines are full throttle and you are getting that circulation, it's cool, but you are not rocking your engines at a high level when you are just sitting on the tarmac in 111 degrees, and that the auxiliary unit that they use

as backup is often broken or tampered with but they don't care because that is used for the lights going on. if you had a trillion dollars like biden did that he wanted to spend on infrastructure, wouldn't you maybe add some more runways? wouldn't you help make it more cool in these jets? but he spends millions of dollars in antiracist hiking trails and tearing down racist bridges. i'd be an international hero if i could just solve air travel, and it's amazing that he hasn't done it. when you now fly and you see women fighting, i just have some advice for men. don't get involved. men should never argue with women. i would sit there like this, and then i would secretly record it and send it to fox. >> jeanine: jesse watters, in particular in particular. >> jesse: if you are a woman, you cannot start arguing with another random woman on the airline because it's like an emotional game of chicken. you have to de-escalate. you know it.

everybody knows it. you have to now get mentally prepared to fly. it is like a playoff game here for you got to get a good night's sleep, stay organized, arrive early, and you have to expect drama. so when you sit there and you are getting delayed, if you don't have a book, if you don't have an iphone charger, that's your fault. >> jeanine: you know, harold, the truth is that during covid, taxpayers put over $54 billion into the airline industry, in addition to infrastructure. they got $54 billion. three years later, we have extreme staffing problems. one flight had to wait for a flight attendant to show up, and a united airlines ceo said we have fewer air traffic controllers that we had 30 years ago. you think buttigieg really doing his job? >> harold: so, the thirty-year problem -- it's good to be back with you. the thirty-year problem we have with air traffic control spans congresses and presidential

terms, one of greg's points about the overzealous marketing of some of these airlines come i think you talk about something you and tyrus spoke about on your show a week or two ago, you now have so many people who have access to plane tickets, low tossed play tickets, that they are taking advantage of it and the airlines have some responsibility, if you are going to offer all of this, a lot of planes to be full, for that matter oversubscribed, they know this better than we do, which is why for a long time i think the airlines need to be stress tested, much like the banks are. and i say that because they should understand what happens in onerous weather conditions, what happens when you oversubscribed the plane. does your air conditioning work? i think a lot of it has to do them, the gas down the plane because of high gas prices. it should not be a surprise to anyone that christmas is on december 25th. it should not be a surprise to anyone in the summertime generally produces higher temperatures committed shouldn't be a surprise to anyone december, january, february and the northeast generally produces

lower temperatures. they know they don't have air traffic controllers. these are things they should all be talking about is airlines. furthermore, it is a crime that all of those people on the plane, the instances you showed in the intro, judge, if they don't all get reimbursed right away, if they don't all have -- there is no reason in the world by these airlines are people sleeping in airports, they don't give them vouchers to stay in hotels, that shall be part of the stress test and if they can't pass that and they shouldn't be allowed to offer as many marketing options as they often do during the summer and the winter months. >> jeanine: section 259, subdivision four, plan for lengthy tarmac delays come i don't believe that has been repealed -- >> harold: you should rewrite it -- go >> jeanine: i would be happy to rewrite it and send it to buttigieg. >> harold: anyone, people are tired of losing their luggage and tired of delays so more and more people are going on buses now come and apparently on greyhound jumped 63% year-over-year for the fourth of july weekend and 70% over memorial day weekend.

in air travel only rose 11% over july 4th weekend. is it time to take the buses? >> kayleigh: i'm not surprised. i have given serious thought to busing myself down to the florida keys next week. however, i will not. he is also -- the threat of the continued constitutional order of the united states. >> greg: so, harold, it is a threat to democracy, our constitutional order, by having another candidate run for president. people just hate third-party candidates because the one closest to their preferred candidate gets hurt. whether you are a democrat or republican, everybody feels the same way, so we see a left-winger, we go hahaha, he's going to hurt biden. but if you know trump does not get the nomination, even if the third-party candidate, republicans are going to lose. >> harold: i think you said it well. i'm 53. in my lifetime, no serious independent candidacy candidate was '92 ant '96, his candidacy by all analysis helped then-governor clinton then president clinton elected. rfk, no labels, professor s, they are all thinking about

running because they don't like the potential -- perceived to be the likeliest mind, republican and democrat, biden-trump rematch. no labels, my old friend joe manchin come he gets in this race, he's going to win. the american people don't want a third party candidacy for the sake of vanity, for the sakes of expressing a strong opinion. if you can't win, i think the american people will reject it, and frankly, i think the way you analyzed this, greg, if it is president trump who runs as an independent, if it is no labels, professor west, i listened to professional cargo -- james carville. it is easy to determine who will win the election if these things happen. i think everybody should talk about running but if you're serious about winning you have to think long and hard about whether you should run. >> greg: this is why i have a solution, jesse. the solution -- i don't really have one. [laughter]

you have two third parties. so it is kind of like, there is a third party that can hurt your side. there is another third-party that can hurt your side. >> jesse: i will see your third-party -- >> harold: give me four parties. >> greg: only two major parties and two third parties appeared to a lot of parties and no one is having fun. >> greg: but you can never have an odd number. >> jesse: then we are like the europeans. >> greg: wing with 10%. >> jesse: that's the kind of democracy alike, winning with the minority. donald trump is due for some luck, though, he was cruising last time when covid hit so he could use a spoiler and it would also help so he could partner himself with the old pocket part and if he is indicted and convicted. he might have cut a deal with joe manchin. he might have said, joe, you run the third party, you spoil it for the incumbent joe, i get back in the white house, and then i tap you for a cabinet,

secretary of energy, secretary of interior. that way then you can kind of ride out into the sunset, you are a hero in west virginia, and you are also really rich. but it does feel like both parties -- i guess -- >> greg: it's called a bribe. >> jesse: that's called politics. that's called a deal. it does seem like the democrats are running too hot and the republicans are running too cold. the democrat win, you've got prosecutors, the media, the intel guys, they are just bloodthirsty, obsessed, trying to kill trump. that is all they care about and the rest of their party is like, can we talk about health care, education, and wages over here? and then there's the republicans that have totally lost any emotion. the whole country is engulfed in flames and they are trying to maintain this air of respectability. you've got b boys and the little girl's room. the former president about to get arrested. you've got the open border, high crime wave, and they are sitting there, and they say nothing.

so, there is an eruption going on both sides because the people at the top don't listen to the people at the bottom. >> greg: judge, what do you think of the no labels? they have been around for maybe 15 years. >> jeanine: you never hear from them. what they said, if it is trump and biden, we may not support a candidate, a third-party candidate, anyway. i'm like, what are we are talking about these people? the craziest part of it is historically third-party candidates have always underperformed. so initially, they will come out and people will say, it's great, they are independent, but when it gets to election, they don't do as well as they did before the election. but what i think is incredible, you have that person from msnbc, right, we want to keep the two-party system in the united states because institutionally, as a country, we need it. it. all of a sudden, the left believes and institutions. they want to tear down the statues. they want to make sure that the supreme court -- all the institutions are bad. unless it preserves, you know,

joe biden. the fear is they don't care about anything other than destroying trump and that manchin if he is in there, he will take votes away from biden, that is the only thing they're worried about. and in the end, carville is even going next, cornell wilde, he threatened -- carter west, i'm sorry come as a threat to the constitution. he is not a threat -- everybody is a threat to democracy if you don't go there ideological way. and they don't want him to run, and the truth is, they just want to bully a third-party candidate. let's assume that there is one. let democracy take its course. let it run its course. stop trying to bully people to support your side. >> greg: i really wish it was cornell wilde. classic actor from the old school of acting. was he in "the most dangerous game," quite a man's man, kayleigh, this is before your

[laughter] but they won't lock up the people who steal the ice cream. what did that freezer ever do. look at that vehicle i was planning on going out tonight with the fridge. what kills me is i think some of the thieves were going to this store 20 times a day. so basically they are like kids treating the stores like their own refrigerator. they just show up. except it is not your kids come all the kids in the neighborhood are coming around and doing that. they're alternative to incarceration is no incarceration. that is not a solution. they have never had a solution because it was never part of their concern what happens to victims, the pain they are suffering is part of the revolution, factored in, baked into the cake so to speak of this transformation of society, so when she admitted that her job isn't to reduce crime, she didn't see the problem in that, right? her job was to reduce the burdens on the criminal.
